To the man who insulted Joey and said he was on something because the door was open late you should really keep defamation of character comments to yourself. My 3 boys get their hair cut by Joey regularly he is personable professional and a skilled barber in the latest trends. People line up and wait for him because he is that good!!! He winds up working past closing on a regular basis just to accommodate his clients. Thank you Joey for keeping my older boys looking good! D. Ahern

I moved to the area a year ago and after trying a few other barbers in the area, Skybox has become my go-​to shop.
The owner, Joey, is the probably the most personable and friendly guy I’ve ever gotten a haircut from. He always has some great stories to tell. He’s definitely passionate about his job and puts a lot effort into keeping his customers happy.
He also has no problem handling more complex trendy styles. If you bring in a photo of what you want, he will match it perfectly. After a year, I trust him enough to let him add his own flair to the base cuts to really bring out the best for my personal style.
I don’t see myself ever going anywhere.

I’m new to Milford and have been looking for a barber for a while. Found him. Joe is the man — two great haircuts. On the second visit he remembered who I was and what my cut was right when I walked in the door. He’s smart, works hard, and loves what he does. go here.

I had a haircut with Joey once before. Good haircut, but the worst razor burn on my life on my neck. It took 3 weeks to heal. Today I went back for another cut, and despite the Unilocal listing and the sign on the door saying he opens at 10 on Saturdays, nobody was there. I called the business number and his cellphone, which he insisted I take. No answer. Waited 35 minutes and left. I won’t be back. Get it together, Joey.

Took my teenager to Skybox today and found it to be a great experience. Joey is a top notch super guy who knows the styles of today. The sports theme thruout the facility that includes TV;s and magazines makes the waiting experience and cut a joyful experience. Looking forward to going back !!!

I’ve been going to Skybox for almost two years now — I got the best haircut I’ve ever had the first time I went and the experience has only improved since I started going last year. Joey has tons of personality, always remembers his customers, and just knows exactly how to find the right style for you. I can’t imagine going anywhere else in the Greater New Haven area.

I just moved to the East Coast 3 months ago, I went to a place in uptown manhattan that over charged me for my hair cut and they did a bad job. I was in Milford visiting family and went to get a hair cut. Joey was one of the very few barbers who could actually give me a the cut I was looking for. I will be waiting until I visit Milford to get my hair cuts from now on. Joey was an awesome barber and the atmosphere was really awesome too especially if you like sports. Over all good place, would recommend it to anyone.

After receiving some disappointing hair cuts from various places in West Haven & Orange I decided to check this place out & was very pleased with my haircut. The service is amazing & the barbers are extremely thorough. I refuse to go anywhere else for a haircut.

After a few sub par haircuts around the New England area, I returned to skybox after a hiatus and boy was I not disappointed. Joe left me walking out of skybox a happier man-​with a fresh cut!
If you are ever in the Milford area definitely give this place a try. It’s unlike and other barbershop experience!

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews.
I tried a few local places when I first stared working in the area years ago, but none had the Skybox combination of value and fun.
Joey’s a solid guy, and he CARES ABOUT HIS SERVICE. He just will not have anyone walk out less than 100% satisfied. I’m sure it must suck to work for him, but it’s certainly to the benefit of the customers.
