What a great little store! Family-run, service is excellent, plus you get to chat and make new friends. Going to Home Depot or Lowes, well, you can stand around forever waiting for help. Not here. You are greeted at the door.
I just needed a gallon of Benjamin Moore paint to match what is already on the living room walls. Done in 5 mins. They have Ralph Lauren and other major brands, plus all the supplies you might need.
I love old stores like this, a throw-back to the past when service and personal attention were the norm. Plus, you are a stone’s throw from the Orange Circle and all it has to offer – beer, food, shopping– before you have to return home to the drudgery of painting.

This is the best house paint store ever. I am very OCD about paint colors and quality and will not go anywhere else. I mix my own colors then take a sample to Orange Paint Store to have the owner match it. Most paint stores mix the paint colors from a computer and the worker cannot adjust the mix without getting flustered if then. At Orange Paint Store, the owner is so knowledgeable about colors that I am humbled every time. Last week he advised that blues really come out much stronger than even a sample painted on the wall will indicate and advised adding particular colors to get the grayish tone I wanted. Sure enough, it was much bolder than anticipated but I liked the recommended mix. They only sell Benjamin Moore paints which go on like butter. Get the Regal — costs more but worth it. Great store!
