Freddy’s Fix-All

Freddy did an amazing job remodeling my mom’s fireplace. He converted the wood-​burning to gas. He rebuilt the face tile with stacked stone and the hearth with ceramic tiles. The inside was cleaned and painted black. The mix of aqua blue and mirrored Starfire glass is so elegant. The new fireplace has changed the look of the living room. My mom loves spending time relaxing by the fire now.
The price was reasonable and well worth the investment. I would definitely recommend Freddy and his guys for contracting work. Great service and got the job done in a timely manner.

I got Fred as a recommendation from a local realtor that uses him to prepare homes for listing. I needed work done on my home to turn it into a rental property. I was really happy with Fred and his team. They know what they’re doing and saved me a ton of cash. There were so many things on my list that he had simple fixes for or just talked me out of because he said they weren’t necessary. At some point I remember Fred even scolding himself for making less money because he was talking me out of work. Fred gets it — he delivers good work at a fair price and doesn’t up sell to make a dollar. I recommend him to everyone and trust him to give it to me straight.

Bottom line is that yes, I would recommend these guys for your home remodeling needs.
With any remodel there’s bound to be snags, that’s a given. What matters most is how the company handles it, and I can say, with a sigh of relief, that these guys came through with their professionalism and willingness to «fix it all.»
We’re happy with the service provided (had a pocket door installed for the bathroom). Freddy, Rory, and their assistant Manny really put in the hard work that it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. Not only did they go above and beyond, but they listened to our input and no task was too big for them to handle.

These guys are good! I had them come over for patching of stucco, and he came over, and educated me on the 5 different types of stucco and which one I had. I was then quoted only a few hundred dollars for a rather significant portion of my home, and the stucco was done in the course of a day. The next day, they came over and painted over everything, and now the house looks brand new. Highly recommend them. I called up quite a few places during my research, and these guys were the first to respond. Laguna Niguel area.

Freddy installed a new toilet in my hall bathroom. He was on time and wore booties over his shoes. His price was reasonable and it was installed in a timely manner. He was honest, polite and everything was cleaned up spotless. I highly recommend Freddy if you’re looking for a thorough, hard working, licensed contractor.

We needed our shower tile redone. Freddy and his team did a great job. Very professional and reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Fred with Freddy’s Fix All exceeded all my expectations and without hesitation I give him the highest possible recommendation. He is the most honest, hard working, and detailed contractor that I have ever worked with, and his rates are incredibly reasonable considering the outstanding quality of work done.
Fred had done a closet/​pantry expansion project for me that ended up going many weeks past the estimated original timeline through no fault of his own (many unexpected bumps, including a foundation issue that we discovered after work had begun). I ended up getting to know him very well and spoke with him in person almost every day during that period, often for 15 – 20 minutes or more — this included Sundays — and he is as hard of a worker as you will ever find.
I got bids from several highly-​rated contractors I found on Unilocal.Freds was among the most reasonable and sensible, so I hired him. Everything the reviews have been saying are true. He didn’t sell me a bill of goods and his crew did excellent, fast work. In fact, the building inspector complimented the work they did. The job came in below his bid, and now I’ve hired him to do other stuff at my house. For me, there’s no one else I will hire. Much THANKS FRED! :)

I was recently referred to Freddy and his team by another contractor (locksmith) and I am thrilled to have this man working for me as I need experienced workers for my clients’ rental properties. I feel comfortable adding and changing orders — his contracts are thorough and have proper wording on them (and I have seen competitors who don’t). He is easy to communicate with and very smart. He knows his business and he does a great job.
