I wish I could give negative stars. I took my dad for an eye exam and glasses last weekend. He has had a stroke and has early stage dementia but not bad enough that he can’t communicate. They put him in an exam room and me waiting outside, I saw a greasy creepy man walk in to the exam room and then heard him screaming at my father. I walked in and told my dad we were leaving. Terrible place!

Excellent staff: Dr T gets you in and out. Right away, the General Manager Benji Jackson makes sure you are being waited on and helped in a timely matter to order glasses or contactsl All of the staff were great. If you have a problem they immediately resolve the issue.

I got glasses at the eyelab in orange park, fl. When I had to bring them im because they were obviously cheap and the frame broke just putting them on, they ordered the wrong glasses. That shouldn’t have been a problem because the 2 pairs of glasses had very different frames. They told me because they messed up they would make sure i got them in 3 days. Then when I wrote a complaint on here the manager, Benji, called me and assured me that he would handle it and get me my glasses. 2 weeks later, after hearing nothing I called and he has not only rude but has no clue where they are. It has been well over a month and it would be really nice to see!!! This place is horrible!!!

This place is the absolute worst. I wouldn’t give it any stars honestly. I decided to give these people a try and that was a bad idea. They are the complete worst. They lied and overpriced me. I was supposed to pay 2 pair deal and ended up paying over 200. They got my prescription wrong, had to wait over a month altogether for my right prescription. I went to eyeglass world and it was a breath of fresh air. Those people shouldn’t exist. They never follow up with their customers. I honestly have no idea why I gave them a try. I went back to Eyeglass World and had no problems whatsoever. Please don’t go there folks. Sorry but I have to keep it real.

I was really impressed with My Eye Lab they have a special the eye examine is free with the purchase of a pair of glasses and they were buy 1 get 1 free you can’t beat that and the lens was a reasonable price I would like to thank Angelina for all her help will we were there she was a big help.

After reading the other reviews, I decided to call and check them out. Yes they were abrasive on the phone and kinda pushy. Just what one might expect on a used car lot, not from an optometrist. Probably will not go there. You call and see if you get the same impression.

This is a decent place for affordable eye glasses. Having a doctor onsite is convenient and the hours of operation are good. The workers are pleasant and efficient. My only complaint lies with the company(lab) that actually makes the glasses. The wait is 10 – 14 days from ordering to delivery to the store, which I do not have a problem with because of the savings. But what they don’t tell you is that if you have to order something a little more complicated(like bifocals or progressives), that the wait time is increased by almost a week. Other than that, the glasses themselves are stylish and well made and a good deal.

My experience with eye lab was very uncomfortable. I went in to get my 15 year old son an eye exam and purchase glasses for him and myself. I had an idea of spending up to $ 400. I just received a bonus and was willing to buy what i liked for us. This young gentlemen came up to me and I explained that I have an eye appt for my son but we’re early and wanted to look at frames. Instantly he spoke as if he was a robot and told me, «this section is buy 2 for $ 69, this section is buy one get one free, but the white tags. … the blue tags… the green tags … «I told him, «I’m not worried about the prices, I just want to find glasses that my son likes.» His expression looked as if I offended him. I looked at my son and said, «I don’t think that I was rude?» We continued to look around and my son found frames he liked and so did I. I went up to the counter and was curious about the specials, buy one, get one free. So I asked, «if my son gets these frames, and I want these frames, is one of them free?» All he said was, «you can’t do that.» So I asked«why not?» So he said, «I have to ask,» he walked behind a closed door. He soon walks out and again he tells me, we can’t do that. He looked annoyed and didn’t want to deal with me. I wasn’t trying to be cheap, I really didn’t know what the exceptions were. I was told to take a seat in the back and wait to be called for the exam. I was not comfotable by the looks I received. I felt like I was a bother. So I told my son that I’d rather spend my money else where. I looked at the employees behind the counter and said,“I don’t feel comfortable here, we’re leaving.» Then I hear one of the employees say loud enough for me to hear with a sarcastic tone in her voice, «ok» as if I was a wacko. I know good customer service, if they had any, they would of stopped me from walking out and apoligize & ask me what they can do to get my business. But no, I drove straight to the very next eyeglass store. And I must say it was like night and day from the minute I walked in. Very professional, mature people, cooperative and they answered all my questions with a smile. It ended up close to $ 400 that i spent, just what I thought, but now I feel secure and comfortable that I made the right decision to leave Eye Lab. The sad part about all of this is, who ever the owner is, he is losing business by hiring these incompetent kids.

Reluctantly thought I’d go look at the«deals» at the Eyelab knowing I wouldn’t get the 2 for $ 69 offer. Sure enough my bifocal bumped me into the 2 for 1 bracket, which, however, started @ $ 69. I selected 2 pair in that bracket and proceeded to get an estimate for the total costs. The explanation of costs was very confusing and was over $ 200. When I asked for a written estimate, I was told they couldn’t do that. We looked at each other bewildered. But then I was offered a «coupon», another rapid explanation of costs, also confusing, revealed a bottom line of $ 135.00. We agreed! Paid in advance, glasses should arrive in 2 weeks. I called to verify arrival, one pair was confirmed. They promised to call upon arrival of second pair, never got a call. I called each of the following four work days till they arrived .We went to pick up both pair, arrived at 4:00 and at 4:30 they finally found both pair! One pair was so badly bent I was handed off to 3 different people to correct the fitting. The experience ended at 5:00, one hour to «pick up» along with the most unprofessional office personnel ever, including the Doctor dressing down one of the help in front of all customers for improper procedure. If you don’t mind«bait and switch», confusing cost explanation, unprofessional personnel, dubious warranty, the jury is still out on the quality of product, this may be the place for you. Don’t forget to ask for the«coupon»(I never saw it) !

When I walked in, a male in a lab coat asked what I came in for, I came in to look for some glasses for my daughter, he pointed me to the kids glasses section. 20 – 30 minutes has gone by and not a single person asked me if I needed some help. I looked around and a female who appears to be the manager was there, she saw me looking at her, but every time our eyes would meet she would quickly turn around to do something else, hold bags of glasses, sort them behind the counter, answer the phone. I decided to wait on the guy I first talked to. I came up to him and kept saying sir, excuse me, sir, he just continued to walk towards the counter where the manager was. He whispered up to the manager and said did you want me to help her or do you want to help her. So he heard me calling him — it would have been nice to just turn around and acknowledge that he heard me. The female manager replied to him and said that he should just help me unless he wants to send her e-mails for her(I’m guessing manager duties). What a shame — sales leaders should set as an example. So the male in lab coat finally came up to me and I had a pile of glasses that I have chosen for my daughter. I told him I need his opinion on the glasses(since he is the expert — i don’t wear glasses so I have no idea what is best for my daughter). He took one glasses and he was just handing it to my daughter saying here try it on. and my daughter is two years old, he could have asked me to put it on her or he could at least just put the glasses on her. anyway I put it on my daughter to show him how it fits and I asked him if he thinks that fits her well(the others were too tight on her) and all he did is look at her and asked my 2yr old daughter if it feels tight. how does he expect a 2yr old who is going to wear glasses for the first time to know what to say on the fit? he didn’t even attempt to look closer to see if there’s enough room around her temple, how does it fit on the nose bridge. he did not do anything. I finally had enough of this horrible experience so I said I was just going to leave. Thats when he tried to be nicer and said oh here do you want me to help you with the rest of these(the glasses i chose) and I was like no not really, it was too late at that point. I didn’t get mad at anyone, but I can tell at that point he realized that I was already disgusted at the type of service I received at that store.

Reading the other reviews are kind of a shock to me… I’m so sorry everyone else had such an awkward experience one way or the other because my visit was nothing but pleasant! I had been seeing the 2 Pairs for $ 69 + Free Eye Exam ad for the longest but was hesitant because I knew my bad eyesight would drive the price up 200%. Throwing caution to the wind, I dropped by anyway and yes, the staff was eager to assist but it wasn’t overkill. As soon as the first question was asked, I let them know that I didn’t need an exam, I’d let them know when they’re needed and they left me to my browsing. Since it had been so long since I’d owned a pair of glasses, I eventually did ask for some help in regards to what frames complimented the shape of my face, etc and Michelle was a huge help. I didn’t feel pressured in the least despite spending a considerable amount of time trying on pair after pair in every price range; her warm patience with my indecisiveness was greatly appreciated. After finally choosing 2 pairs, I was assisted by David whose charisma and determination to save me some money allowed me to breathe a lot easier. He told me it would take exactly 2 weeks to receive my frames because of the type of lens as well as the prescription and they arrived on the exact date I was given. It took me a little while to get used to them but I’m now in love and have yet to experience any kind of malfunction. I don’t know if I caught them on a really good day or what but based off of my visit, I absolutely recommend Eye Lab. Great customer service, reasonable as well as negotiable prices and a wide selection of frames!

Staff was awesome. But they were slow and the eye doctor himself was SOWEIRD. he creeped me out. I am a young women, 21, and he just came off as a weirdo. I wouldn’t let my kids go alone. But the prices and frames are amazing.
