Went here for stick tape for a lacrosse stick. No such luck. It’s a big box store and huge. The selection is pretty good. Found my favorite brand of flip flops for 40% off. Score! When I eventually found an employee they were nice enough. Good selection of some stuff but with all that room would it kill you to carry a few rolls of stick tape for lacrosse and/​or hockey? Anyway. 4 stars for the flip flop bonus. Even better I looked online and got the same price online with free shipping so I got 3 more pair. Plus 4 pair of the basic flip flops for my kids at $ 1.50 each SHIPPED! Can’t beat it!

I really felt this business would not last at this location but they have and they are doing well. The store is always clean and they always offer a cheery «Hello» as you enter. This is my place for gym shoes. If I find something I like but not in my size I can order them here and they send them to my house. They offer the active to outdoorsy person a nice array of choices in one place.

Academy is a pretty legit spot to get work out gear, hunting gear or just team supporting appeal. I don’t think I have ever came to this place and left empty handed. Prices are pretty high though and not sure if they have a price match policy. Either way it’s nice to have a retail location to come look and get some friendly advice or help when needed.
