Watda Grill Teriyaki & Roll

Good mom and pop authentic Japanese food… very delicious. Ordered 2 item combo under $ 10(Chicken teriyaki and California roll, includes salad, soup, and drink).

I love this place .The sushi rolls are just too bomb. I love this place the lady who works there already even knows me because I’ve been there so many times I love the golden tiger roll.

After seeing all of the great reviews and it being so close to home my best friend and I finally came here for a bite after a day of shopping. It was about 6:00pm and there were only two other people eating inside which I liked because it being a Friday, I was afraid it might be crowded. I decided to order the California Roll and a Chicken Teriyaki bowl with veggies. Once we sat we were brought some Miso soup, which I’d never had before, but it was delicious especially since it was pretty chilly outside. My friend was brought her mild ramen with chicken which she loved and I quickly devoured the California roll. The portions are pretty big which we hadn’t counted on, so neither of us finished our second course, but it was all so, so good, and it all tasted fresh, and there’s still so much more I want to try. The staff was nice and friendly and the restaurant was clean, quiet and had a really relaxed atmosphere while we were there which made everything even more enjoyable. Definitely a place to come check out.

Great staff! Great food! They have a variety of food from sushi to udon to teriyaki to fried rice! This place is where you go to when you want a little of everything! Prices are not that bad either it is very affordable

I got the special Beef teriyaki and it’s reasonable and taste good for its price; it comes with a soup and drink already. The ambiance is nice and store is clean. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu.

It was not worth my $ 10 I spent for lunch. Grocery store sushi tastes better. And I didn’t even eat the teriyaki chicken that came with my lunch combo, it just didn’t taste like chicken. I was dissatisfied.

Feels like a sandwich shop inside (subway etc) lol. In the area on business and wanted sushi. Got a «red dragon roll» which was pretty good, a little small. They brought me a miso soup as well which lacked a bit of flavor. And had fountain drink to wash it down. Staff was friendly and ate for under $ 14. Would be a great lunch spot.

Decent size rolls. Tempura was good. Chicken teriyaki was so-​so. Service was ok. Clean place!

Came here dozens of times before. It became one of our favorites, it WAS what dreams are made of. New ownership cooks nothing like previous owner. If someone knows them… Are they still cooking? Where? We miss you! — Sincerely old fan

Ummm I think every review on here is friends or family ! I got something simple that can not be messed up since everyone kept talking about the salmon teriyaki. Over cooked no full teriyaki flavor and the rice was hard. The miso soup was missing a teaspoon more of the miso base. The little salad was the only thing I can say I enjoyed. I thought of the sushi but saw the cuts in front and they were about 1 mm in thickness… Are you kidding me? They should stick to just right bowls… Put more effort in that and not sushi

This place was one of my favorite restaurant. It’s under a new management. The previous owners were super friendly and the food was phenomenon!
Especially salmon and chicken teriyaki and most of the roll were BOMB! I did give 5 star on my previous post…
The new owner has raised a price and food portion is little… I tried teriyaki but it didn’t taste anything like the one I had before. I wonder if they opened a new location? Can anyone let me know?

Just moved to the area and was looking for a new sushi spot. Well I found it!!! Everything was freshly made to order and staff was friendly from start to finish. I ordered the Crunch Roll and the Bay Inland Roll and was pleasantly surprised by all the flavor and great taste. It is very clean.

I was looking for a sushi place near me and didn’t want to drive to kabuki so I I searched and found this place, read the phenomenal reviews and decided to give it a try. Very friendly staff and clean establishment but was very disappointed with the sushi. It didn’t taste fresh, it didn’t really have much flavor. It was honestly questionable. I had a spicy tuna roll, chicken teriyaki and some other roll that I can’t remember and I was so disappointed. The food looked beautiful but when I tried it was just. Bleh! I am so confused! When I go to kabuki I literally spend around the same amount of money for fatter juicy amazing rolls! I see all these great reviews and what not and I just don’t see it. I would give this one star but decided on two because of the service and cleanliness of the establishment. Won’t be returning!

This place is really good!!! I got a crunch roll and it was prepared pretty quickly in comparison to other sushi places. Each piece of sushi was the perfect size and could actually fit in my mouth without me looking like a fool which was a major plus in my opinion. And of course it was delicious. Great place to stop by for a quick bite to eat, or sit and stay a little longer to watch some tv. I was very impressed by this place and think they deserve more customers. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area. Owners are definitely friendly!

Went here with a coupon I got from Stater Brothers witch is on the back of the receipt, it says 50% off any roll, but it’s false advertising they said staters made a mistake, in my opinion they did that intuitionally to get you in there and charge you reg price not cool at all, they would not honor it, since they wouldn’t honor it I’d rather spend my $$ at another place with good customer service., what a joke

Stopped there for the first time tonight I ordered the beef Teri Plate it came with white rice a no steamed vegetables. Everyone that works that had a great attitude and we’re very pleasant to deal with. Prices are comparable to other take out places. Would definitely return to try another item off the menu.

Oh yum! Decided to get a quick bite before our appointment at the DMV and totally enjoyed this food. Hit the spot. Cooked to order. Crunch roll is delicious as well as the shrimp teriyaki and California rolls. #happytummies

I love this place. Its a fast food style place, you place your order at the counter, and they bring your food out to your table etc. I tried the salmon place no rice. and they served me tons of veggies (stir-​fry of bean sprouts, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, onions) really good! i also tried the california roll and very good too alot of avocado and spicy tuna is great too very spicy. :) portions are big so you get full, and prices are excellent! Will def be coming back.

My first time at this place. Its GREAT. So nice and clean and the staff work really hard to please you. The Teriyaki was GREAT! The Sushi was AMAZING. & the prices were not high at all.

This place is awesome I love the chicken flavor far better than other teriyaki places I know … Veggies are fresh and brown rice is steamed perfectly… Staff is extremely nice and helpful with the menu. I will be coming here a lot more often…
