The Disney Store

We came in after coming from the parks and Jessica and Kylene were amazing! They were so helpful and fun. We love shopping at the Disney store specifically for employees like them! Love you guys!

THE Staff HERE Is Really Nice. I usually just pop in once or twice a month for pins. Sometimes they have it and sometimes they dont. I’m a huge littler mermaid lover, so I’m always looking for stuff that has to do with the little mermaid. Sometimes I’m successful.

Even though it is an outlet, I really like this store. They have a great selection of past season Disneyland merch which is nice because buying items at the park is so outrageously expensive! The store is just always crowded! But considering how busy it is, they keep it pretty tidy and the staff is great!

This store is considered the outlet. So be prepared to search. I’ve found a lot of great deals. But sometimes you find some cool stuff and they don’t have the size I need. Its also a mess. Like they only have 2 people on the sales floor and the parents are to busy looking for stuff that they don’t notice their kids running a muck Its not a daycare here, don’t send your kids to the stuffed animal section so they can play while you shop. That is my main complaint, messy! So leave the kids at home and come find some deals.

The few times i have been here the staff have been so busy with everyone else, they they didn’t greet anyone or even notice anyone was there besides who was right in front of them. I love disney though, and it is nice to go see what new stuff they have available. Maybe it would be different if they weren’t short staffed.

For some reason… this Disney store seems to be cheaper than other stores in my area. It is often cluttered and very crowded (probably because it’s cheaper). I like going to this store because you can get some really good deals here. If you don”t mind the crowd or the clutter and you are willing to hunt for things… this is the store to hit!

This store/​mall are a zoo. So busy! But in the midst of that some wonderful cast members helped me with at least 10 questions today. One girl, Trish, dug through the back of the store to find me some additional clearance Eeyores. They have a larger/​sale and clearance selection (including some park items) than most Disney stores (although, of course, like most clearance things it’s hit or miss. Today, I got 3 sets of park dish towels, 2 t-​shirts, 5 fairly large plush characters, and 3 scarves as gifts for less than $ 100). Of course, they have regularly priced merchandise as well.

They have some great stuff on sale at this location! Seems like I always come out with something for my fiancé (who loves Disney) when I go into this store. The people that work here are genuinely kind and very helpful too. I’m sure this store has something for every Disney lover!

I really like anything Disney. Although my kids have outgrown the Disney Store, I still appreciate all of the cute clothes and toys. I guess I’m still a kid at heart!
This store really does have some adorable things. They always have great discounts on their shirts and stuffed animals. The employees at the store are very friendly. At the same time, they are also incredibly understaffed. I feel so bad for the employees when I’m here. Everything is in a bit of a mess, and they can’t seem to get organized in the midst of the chaos.
Someone mentioned in a previous review that many of the items seem used or damaged, and I completely agree. I’ve actually seen parents open packages, let their kids play with the toys so they can shop in silence, and then put the toys back before they leave. This makes me want to run out of the store screaming, and that’s on a good day.
Other than the complete chaos, this store has a really nice staff and some cute things. You just have to be very patient when you shop here.

I love my daughter because if I did not, there is no way that I would ever set foot into this store on my own accord. Every single time we walk by there, she is pulled into its tractor beam and I along with her. Now the store in Riverside is okay. They keep it clean, products are nicely organized, and prices are clearly marked. This store, its a tad on the ghetto side. The organization is a hot mess. Its like a bomb went off and the shrapnel consists of sparkly flip flops, five dollar t-​shirts, chipped Nightmare Before Christmas mugs, you get the idea. I almost stepped into not one, but two spilled beverages of some sort (hello safety hazard). There were several items my daughter looked at that were broken. Yuck. Screaming children running around, etc. After about ten minutes in the store, I felt my blood pressure rising so I gave her the five minute warning and we stood in line for another ten minutes, while the 1 poor staff member working the cash register tried to remain cheerful while being harassed by every other parent in line, over mis-​labled prices on items. 20 minutes later we walked out with a $ 2.99 pink Ariel monstrosity of a crazy straw cup, a cup that would have set me back about $ 10.00 at Disneyland, so for that Disney Store, you still get two stars, one for the cheap cup and one for the sweet cashier, who I am certain is on a nice dose of some anxiety medicine.

Bright, busy and oozing people. Plenty of toys, clothes and unique items at this store. I made a quick walk through and found some cool Disney pins. I didn’t last more than 5 minutes in this store because of the crowds, strollers and kids. Oh wait, that’s me ;o)

Drop it down to three stars for misleading advertising. Big sign with the price and in small letters the words «and up.» WTF is that Disney. I know we are in a recession but damn.

The Disney Store Outlet is great in and some ways, and sort of not in others:
The Good:
1. Some of the stuff they have is really cheap compared to the Disney Store (non-​outlet).
2. Their selection on different items is great.
3. They have a lot of stuff, and it looks like a lot of fun for kids.
4. It’s a great place to do gift shopping!
The Bad:
1. It seems ultra-​bright in there sometimes.
2. Usually, it’s really crowded with adults, strollers, and children.
3. Sometimes the prices are still high: o (
All in all, it’s good to go and look, as I said, especially for gift shopping. I would recommend a stop in, but as I’ve said, they can get crowded, so sometimes it pays to go shop somewhere else and come back when it’s calmed down a little.
