Juanita’s III

This was my first time I came to juanitas, I was recommended by a client but I have to say I will now pass on this place. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla and the portion is good, but I disliked the carne asada. The carne asada was cooked with soooo much pepper that I couldn’t even eat it. The plus was that the flour tortilla was great.

I Love Love Juanitas. I have been going here for years. My favorite is the Chili Relleno Burrito with Beans, Rice and Cheese. Excellent. I love the fact that everything they have is homemade. Outstanding. I also love the chicken tacos — The Best. Thank you so much.

Amazing shredded beef burritos and chicken tacos! Never disappointed! Only down side is there is no indoor seating!

Very great food, love the homemade tortillas, so delicious. Definitely looking forward to eating here again.

This place is a whole in the wall hidden gem. It is reasonably priced but the portions are huge. We ordered number 3 your choice of meat then comes with beans rice and cheese for $ 6.30 the meat quality is very good and the tortilla is the best part. They are all homemade and very light and fresh. Also ordered the big nachos. It’s 9.50 but it’s gigantic!!! If your in Ontario swing by this place.

Best fast Mexican food around the area. Love the burritos!!! Always stuffed and so flavorful. The hot sauce is great too! Just make sure you ask for extra because it only comes with a few. They’re always fast here, and have such a nice staff. The nachos are great too. They’re huge!!!

I’ve had better. Gave it a shot and it tasted kind of bland. Had the big nachos with the Chile Verde and it left me a little disappointed

Busted place. Quesadillas are made with flavorless nasty orange cheese. This is white mexican food. Carne asada taco with cheese and lettuce. This is just not Mexican food. The hot sauce was over powered with oregano. Tasted like Italian sauce. I was misled by the 4 stars. Gimme my money back

This place is a total treat for me ! I most always order 2 chicken tacos and a Diet Coke ^_​^ today I also ordered a cheese quesadilla (helllllllaaaaaaa greasy) that’s okay, still ate it hahah) and my sister got the carnitas cheese beans and rice burrito and she fell in love. The salsa is also AMAZING!!! We like drank it by itself. One thing I do suggest, don’t eat this In the car, too good to not enjoy all over your face ;)

The only thing I would change is that they should be open later.

Never will u be disappointed ! I’ve been coming here for years n years the homemade tortillas for burritos are super delicious. The crunchy tacos are amazing I always get nachos which 3 people can share! The red pork and chili verde are delicious and the shredded beef mouth watering! U want good food Come and try juanitas!

Make sure you want everything when the ask if you want everything on it!
I ordered a plate of Carne asada nachos and I got a giant mix of toppings with some Carne asada nachos. The food is good though.

First time here & let me tell you the carne asada burrito w/​rice & cheese is amazing including their red salsa

Smelled good! This was a last minute stop because we decided to look for some mexican food in the area.
My only qualm and suggestion … please don’t put a hot quesadilla in a paper bag … it greased right through and the cheese was all dried up because of that.

I ordered a bean, rice and cheese burrito. First time here. Tortilla was good, chili taste like ketup. It was ok.
I don’t eat meat, was hoping for a breakfast burrito but they don’t have any. :(

Many people at work have mentioned this location, so I finally checked it out. Before trying the food I already had high expectations. So I ordered a carne asada, bean, rice, and cheese burrito. Yes everything lived up to the expectations except the carne asada, it was nowhere near good (trust I’m a fat boy at heart I know what decent carne asada taste like) carne asada. Yes they have homemade tortillas, which made that burrito taste good. If the meat was okay/​good, this would probably be in the top burrito’s I’ve had. I will come back and order something else on the menu, maybe I came by on the wrong day (Hopefully I don’t get disappointed again).
Burrito and drink was $ 8 something.
No dining in at this location, only walk-​up window and drive-​thru offered here. They have about 6 or so tables on the side of the establishment, plenty of parking available.

Awesome burrito… but very gooey/​messy. Definitely need to eat it at a table! There is no ‘restaurant’ here… it’s a carry out place (with a drive-​thru) and a small outdoor eating area. Made for a nice quick lunch stop; affordable and delicious. Loved the home-​made giant burrito shells.

Juanitas is an icon for Mexican — American food in the Ontario area. Before my pescaterian days I ate their shredded beef tacos and so did everyone else. There are no fish dishes here so I always order potato tacos and rice. Their handmade chile is a must! They recently began charging for extra containers of chile. Outside seating only but there is a drive through window with fast service. I recommend arriving before 12 or after 1:30 to beat the lunch crowd.

So I just finished my meal, first time visitor. I absolutely hate leaving poor reviews for a business based on one experience, but I really felt compelled.
I ordered an carne asada burrito, chips and salsa, and an horchata.
The horchata was solid, not the best, not the worst, just good horchata — hard to mess this one up.
The chips and salsa was great, the salsa being great. That was the only reason this got 2 stars instead of one.
The burrito… the driest meat I’ve probably ever had. I mean, I couldn’t even finish the burrito — I’ve never felt so bored with a burrito EVER. I was forced to use so much of my salsa to give it something…
Thing is, they literally had my order ready to go within maybe 2 minutes max — I didn’t even leave the ordering counter. It might have even been 1 minute. So what does that tell me? The carne asada was most likely just sitting there, old. That’s what pisses me off… not that the burrito wasn’t good, that they probably KNEW they were giving me crap meat. That’s not okay to me.
I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but a $ 7 burrito and $ 14 order, and you get it THAT wrong? I unfortunately wont be coming back.
