While it’s clean and the bed isn’t bad, know that you’ll be missing some things: 1. Poor internet reception 2. My bath tub stopper was broken 3. No remote on crappy old tv. 4. No hand lotion. 5. Difficult to find«lower rooms» in dark(use to be called Knotts Motel). I complained; 2 workers shrugged. If they’d stay up on the repairs and cared, it might be a «charming» experience. Until then, frustration.

Good enough for the price. Clean and quiet. It’s a Red Carpet Inn so adjust expectations. It was cheap. Usually a place for hunters and day travelers to stop last minute. But you know what? It was just fine.

My partner and I made a reservation here in a pinch and it turned out to be a pretty good experience overall. The front desk staff is very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Our room was presented to us is good shape. The surfaces were clean. towels were in full stock along with soap, shampoo and conditioner. the bed was made. The room comes with a nice and powerful wall-unit air conditioner, a two burner electric stove, a fridge, microwave, a desk and a 27 inch[approximately] tube TV. The free wi-fi network is pretty weak, I was only able to access it from the bathroom and the corner of the main room from my phone, but worked fine from a laptop anywhere in the room. The closet was plenty big, but didn’t need it since we were only staying just the one night. The area is great, and our room was not in the main building, but around the corner in a second set of rooms right on the Goodyear Lake which was fantastic to wake up to. The cabinets in the kitchen area of the room had paper/glass plates and bowls along with plastic utensils, but only 1 small skillet so don’t plan on making too much unless you brought your own pan. The continental breakfast was very limited, and there was no room to eat it in. For the people who weren’t staying in the main building [like myself] that posed a problem. You basically either have to sit in the lobby, or just stand and eat your cereal. The main lobby also had free ice, limited to 3 scoops. A one night stay was $ 155.00 after taxes and fees, a bit pricey for a cheapskate like myself, but it’s worth it if you want to get away from it all and bask in the New York farm land, or visit Cooperstown, which is only a 20 minute drive north.
