The people that work here are nice, and I love the décor (which I’d call vintage/​repurposed/​eclectic), and their food is decent yet expensive. However, their coffee needs some kind of revamp. The kids working there know zero about coffee and most of the time it’s served luke warm. Given this place a lot of chances. I still quite like it. Good customer service makes up for a lot in my eyes, and they do have that.

Pungoteague, VA
This is a largely undiscovered gem. It hasn’t been open very long, so I really hope it catches on and they are successful. The coffee is excellent and the pastries are very good. Considering that they are a couple of doors away from the Corner Bakery, which has a devoted following, they have a bit of a tricky location. But you can’t get a latté at the bakery, and you can’t get this ambience. I love the mixed tables and I love the artwork. Also the comfy couches if you’re just having coffee. I’ve had a couple of different pasties and liked them both.
If you want to have a coffee break with a friend or two, you really must come here.

A wonderful coffee shop and art gallery. Great friendly service and very good coffee and hot chocolate. Open early Sunday morning after our walk to the harbor area. What a nice town and great shop. A must see and taste.

In small town Onancock, this is a much needed place! And they do a great job to boot! My parents are locals and they (and I!) love the place. They owners did a great job renovating an old bank into a cool, eclectic atmosphere with high ceilings, original detailing and lots of seating. But most importantly they have great coffee, pastries and light lunch! It will be a stop every time we’re in town for a visit!
