Two Fine Irishmen Bar & Grill

This is your typical local bar. Food is typical bar fare and the selection of booze and beer is standard. 90% of the time service is good and they do keep the place clean. Being a patron of Irish bars however, there is little Irish about this place other than the Guinness. We do like the sandwiches and the fish and chips is good too. We like to come here for the occasional beet and snack, especially when we have snow– it’s super close.

Good food and specials but slow slow slow. Also, the waitresses need to read the menus. Twice we’ve ordered something and they didn’t know they had it.

They are pretty fast at getting you drinks and they are never understaffed. Their patty melts are delicious and they have a laid back atmosphere. EXCEPT FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS SUCKS SO BAD! There are way too many people allowed inside. You can’t hardly move. And their bands are too loud for an indoor venue. I’m shocked they have never gotten ticketed from the fire department.

Change your name. It is obvious the two young kids that opened this place have sold it. Place need Bar Rescue. It is just a Bar with Dude Bartenders picking up on the young waitress staff drinking shots. Glad we went and dropped 500 at Shevys Elkhorn… and got served with a smile.

I’ve been here more times than I can remember– sadly that’s a literal statement. Here’s the low down– this place is a great spot for a «bar food» dinner during the week, and the crowd will be pretty casual and low key. Once about 10pm hits on the weekend, this place amps up! They feature live music every weekend with no cover– personally I really appreciate that! I live in the neighborhood, and stopping up here is an afterthought sometimes– a heavy cover wouldn’t be appreciated.
The crowd is super diverse. As a person approaching 40, I’ve started to become über-​sensitive to bars I believe I’m too old to be in. You’ll never feel this way at Two Fine– there are youngsters, hipsters, folks my age, and much much older. Everyone blends together in one drunken mass on the dance floor. As you can imagine, the people watching is fantastic as a result.
The waitresses are some of the sweetest you’ll encounter anywhere– and may I add VERY patient? They have a lively patio, and pretty reasonable drink prices. As far as the food goes, Shamrock Wings and Irish Nachos are among the best! Get their early on live music nights if you want a table!
Only reason they didn’t earn that fifth and final star is because the bathrooms get to be quite the mess as the night rolls on– it would be great if someone on staff could do better maintaining them. We’ve also been a bit hit and miss on the wings– and fights in the parking lot after close are a regular occurence. Personally, I find this entertaining but I can’t imagine everyone does.

Great drink specials but I’d prob eat before hand. The food is lousy. I had the fish and chips which had a little symbol of it calling it a pub favorite but it was more like fish sticks and soggy fries.

Pretty good bar usually very busy on the weekends and on Wednesdays when they do $ 1 taco night, not a bad deal at all. The drinks are made with care and are done right. But they are a little under staffed In my opinion.

have come here countless times, so I kind of know what to expect. On the plus side, you can get pretty good food for not much money if you adhere to the daily specials. The food and drink specials are solid. TFI also offers live weekly trivia which is a great time.
Reading Unilocal,you may have noted the service is never praised. We have found the service to be spotty at best. Most recently, we were served our food without a «check in» to determine if we had everything we needed. Twenty five minutes after being served, I had to accost our waitress to get the proper drink and condiments. If I hadn’t done that, I may still be waiting. I may be old fashioned, but I still believe you should see a server more than once every ninety minutes. We are so disappointed, we would really like to LOVE TFI as we are neighbors. Unfortunately, they continue to «lower the bar» every time we visit.

I’ve been here several times over the past few months. It’s a great place to hangout with friends and just talk story and have a drink. I usually accompany my boyfriend when he meets up with his friends. The atmosphere is very dive bar-​ish with sports on the TV and a few games in the corner. The waitresses are pretty good, they tend to notice when new people join the group and take care of them/​us as soon as they can. I don’t really drink here but I’ve tried several of their dishes.
The honey mustard chicken wings are pretty good. They give you a good amount for a full order and also have a half portion size as well. I also enjoy the irish nachos. But instead of potato slices I wish they would put a mixture of chips as well, because I end up have a ton of left over toppings.
Service and atmosphere is pretty cool. I do think a revamp to their menu would do wonders though!

Firstly, don’t be fooled in thinking this is a Irish pub — its a sports bar. Besides having Guinness on tap, I don’t really see anything remotely Irish about this place.
That said, its a sports bar I like! I was a little disappointed when I first walked in and realized it wasn’t an Irish pub, but its a nice open laid bar, good dive to hang out and have some drinks, eat some food, and the specials are pretty enticing for week-​day goer-​outers like me! Plus, they’ve got the usual bar arcade games huddled in the corner, and a pool table.
The service I’d had there has been attentive and friendly — that in itself makes this place deserve 4 stars. Combined with the drinks, food, specials, and general sports dive atmosphere, this is quickly becoming one of my regulars.

When we walked in the first thing noticed was the smell. It smells like stale beer. At 4pm, it was crowded and noisy. Happy hour is from 3 – 7. $ 1 domestic draws. Food was okay. Waitress did a fine job. We won’t be back.

So, lets start off by saying, this place is not my normal place to go out and have a drink so my 30 minute drive from Omaha is not what I was looking for… but I didnt pick the place.
When you show up, its not too bad to get into the parking lot but it isnt the only Bar on the block.
Drink specials: Holy Cow, it almost seems like they are using the signs from the drink companies to post as wallpaper. They are plastered everywhere. Im sure some of these specials arent valid anymore but I could be wrong.
Happy Hour: A bucket for $ 7 bucks isnt a bad thing for Bud and the Happy Hour is longer then most (4 – 7). Didnt see a reverse happy hour. A lot of the drink specials were setup for only certain days so find the best peice of «Wallpaper» for the day you come in.
Food: Its bar food. The Philly wrap is what I picked up and it wasnt half bad at all. We also picked up the Sampler for an app and it just didnt seem big enough for the price. We ended up getting a second order for the table.
Live Entertainment: Looks like there is always something going on. Bands didnt start till way past 9pm but I guess thats average.
Overall I expected better for the place.

Went there for happy hour. Not too many beers on tap to chose from. Waitress wasn’t the best and forgot our drinks, or the extra water we ordered. Just simple things, and it ruins the experience.

Great happy hour! We had the paddy melt (Irish of course), loved it. Food did take awhile to come out, but that was ok since we were enjoying the cheap beer first! I’ll definitely be back!

Best happy hour in town by far. Weekends they always have good bands and never a cover. Food is decent.

Saturday after Thanksgiving. Family’s still in town. Friends are still in town. I KNOW! Let’s go out to the bar waaaaay out West and see a cover band. What was I thinking?!
Well, at 9:30 on a Saturday night, the place was jam-​packed with people. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to a standing room only bar in Omaha (I felt a bit sorry for the people sitting at low tables who constantly had their heads bumped by butts — gives «head-​butt» a whole new meaning). Since it was after dinner, we did not partake in the food. The live band that evening was good. The dance floor was small, so there were smaller pockets of people singing and dancing at various places in the bar. For the size of the place and the number of people, the bartenders efficiently filled our drinks at the bar after only a short wait. Prices were average (a vanilla vodka and coke plus a Sam Adams was under $ 10). They also have waitresses working the tables, so that alleviates some of the lines at the bar. The crowd? Omahans in their 20s, 30s and 40s who live in the area (180^th & Q). Casual. Not high maintenance. Not Ed Hardy crazed. Lots of Bud Light and Miller Light fans. If you don’t mind people, like live music, love to dance with your girlfriends and sing along at the top of your lungs and live out west, you might want to give this place a go.
