Stories coffee house is the number 1 place where I can go and sit, relax, get all my work done, eat AMAZING food, feel really welcomed and cozy while sitting by the fire place enjoying the best drinks you could order. Stories’ atmosphere beats any other coffee shop in Omaha. I strongly suggest coming here if you are looking for a date spot, quite and welcoming work space, family friendly environment, a worship night every Tuesday night and live music every Friday and Saturday night!

This place is super quaint and cozy. Like grab a good book, some work or a girlfriend and hangout over coffee. Their drink menu offers a lot from coffee to beer and wine to tipsy cocktails. I ordered the s’more latte and the presentation is amazing. Topped with toasted marshmallows in a big mug on top a serving plate with the name of the drink. It really doesn’t get much more impressive than that! I also ordered simple eggs and sausage for breakfast noshes as did all of my dining companions. The breakfast menu isn’t huge but it offers a selection of hot to cold items from eggs to pastries. They have a lunch & dinner menu too. The breakfast sausage was good, like fresh and full fat satisfying. The eggs were okay, nothing out of this world but hit the dietary protein needs. The reason for the 1 star knock is the timing of the drinks and food for our table all over the place. My food arrived a good 15 minutes after everyone else and a drink order didn’t even remembered until we had all finished our food.

A nice relaxing coffee and wine stop. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. This reminds me of some of the coffee shops in Europe. I recommend this place for a group outong.

A hidden gem. Cozy, antique-y environment. Lattes and cinnamon roll were delicious but the pumpkin scone was a bit dry. Loved the hints of religious influences and attentive staff.

Great coffee, great food, and great service. We were there for a few hours today and the waitress was on top of the water the entire time and was extremely nice. We got the grilled ham and cheese with a side salad and it was delicious. Also really reasonable prices for lunch, breakfast, and coffee. Well worth trying this place out if you are looking for a great local coffeehouse.

We were in the area visiting family. They suggested this place for a coffee. It is located in a strip mall with all the windows blacked out. Then the walls are chalk board paint. You sit down at a table and then someone comes and give you a menu. They have some hot items like eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffees and teas. Overall a cute little place. Our family stated sometimes they have music in there as well. Appears they do cakes, etc. I thought maybe it was a tad high in price but if we were back in the area we would probably stop by again.

Had a great breakfast here with friends. They have a limited breakfast menu but lots of coffee options. I had an americano that was very rich and bold. I got the oatmeal with candied nuts, brown sugar and as strawberries. I think it was instant oats which was disappointing, but overall it was delicious. I’ve been here many times. At times the service has been very slow. Today my waitress was prompt and helpful.

A must-visit coffeehouse and wine bistro. The atmosphere is charming and the service is wonderful. I haven’t tried the food yet but I enjoy the menu. It’s the cutest, most unique coffee shop I’ve visited. It’s like a Pinterest board came to life, haha!

I really, really like Stories. I’ve been there three times – once for the sipping chocolate, and twice for the Con Panna, which I really enjoy. The atmosphere is beautiful. I appreciate that they have live music on the weekends. I feel that Stories does a good job of engaging the community with their live events and co-op style. They are a bit pricey, but the menu is quality. I hope to try the food there sometime soon.

Very cool place. Just had an Irish Coffee and some Carrot Cake, both very good. I can’t wait to try breakfast at this place. My waitress was super friendly and very informative. Some nights they even have live music.

This place is really cute! Love all the mismatched furniture. All the furniture is for sale, interestingly cool concept. Coffee, so I got the Columbian roast French press. $ 4.50. Easily the most expensive coffee I’ve ever bought. I’ve traveled all over the world living in European, Asia, New York, ect. So I find it weird how expensive it is here. And sadly it was watered down but I could taste the potential of the beans. Peanut butter chocolate Bön Bön. $ 6. Woah, this is amazing. I was a little skeptical. But wow. If you’re a peanut butter chocolate fantic you have to try this. It’s huge, easily for 4 to share, it’s very rich. But of course I ate ¾ of it. Haha. I give it 4 stars for the Bön Bön and the atmosphere. I wish the coffee was less watered down. But none the less, I would come back.

It’s charming. Great atmosphere. Worth driving half way across town to enjoy their cozy environment. I took time off work to do so. Not my first visit. I didn’t have a cup of coffee before my 9:00 a.m. arrival. Big mistake. Huge! Waitress said she would give us time to review the menu. I told her, «No need to wait… I need to mainline coffee now.» We all laughed. In spite of my desperate plea, one non-fussy Café au lait arrived half way through my bowl of room temperature oatmeal. My friend said, «Do they have to go to Ethiopia for your coffee?» Maybe the saddest was she was speedy to bring the bill. never asked if I wanted another cup of coffee… I did want another… I got the message to scurry out. But with that said, 3 out or 4 times were five star…

I went to this cute little coffee place! It was beautiful inside. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Great place to study or catch up with friends. We had coffee, and we also ate there. I had the meatloaf and four cheese macaroni and cheese with potato bacon soup. I love soup, but it was so salty I couldn’t finish it. The main dish was good, a little on the greasy side. However, when I got home my stomach ached, and I felt awful. I have a very strong stomach. I have not thrown up since the fourth grade! So, I just thought that I had over ate or that my stomach was cramping from the grease. I shortly went to bed, hoping that when I woke up in the morning the pain would be gone. Unfortunately, I woke up around midnight to find out that I had to run to the bathroom. I had food poisoning. I texted my friend that I went with. She said she was fine, so I assume I got sick from the meatloaf(but I threw up all of the food I ate at Stories). After about 40 minutes in the bathroom, I took two tums and went back to bed. This morning my stomach is still a little queasy. When I first arrived at Stories, I said that I have to come back with my sister because she would absolutely adore this place. After last night, I personally, don’t think I will return because of how sick I got. I wouldn’t want to risk the chance of it happening again. This was my first time being food poisoned in my lifetime, and I would not like to experience it again.

Great little coffee shop in West Omaha. I really enjoyed the décor, definitely felt like I was sitting in a cottage in a fairy tale. I loved the missed-matched furniture that somehow went together and the various pieces of furniture that looked antique and hand-crafted. I came here with some friends looking for both some good lattes and café foods. I had a smores latte that tasted phenomenal! The mugs that it came in was super cute as well. I ordered a chicken artichoke fettuccine and my friend ordered a meatloaf and macaroni combination. Although an overall good experience and our waitress was very nice, our side soups and salads came after we received our entrees. Also, the meatloaf made my friend a little sick so she won’t be returning, but I had absolute no complaints about my food. Great little coffee shop if you’re near 180th and pacific!

Now, I’ll start by saying that I only came here for a Latte to get my day started and was headed out of town. The location was very convenient and easy to find, close to a big shopping area and not far from my hotel. I came in just as they were opening the door so I was the first customer of the day and in that first few minutes I was very impressed. This is a really nice, relaxed, open and inviting room. This is the kind of place I would love to hang out in, have a coffee or two and spend some time catching up on emails or getting some work done. Would be a great place to hang with a friend as well other than I don’t live here and don’t have any friends(here, not in general). They have a kitchen in back and the sandwiches and items looked really good, judging from the menu. This is what a local coffee house needs, a kitchen. Not more frozen items that are cooked to death in a super oven while you drive past in your car, but some place where you order, wait and eat something fresh! Get the Hell out of your cars people, really… it’s a coffee house… be social(sorry, sore spot). Loved this place and I will definitely be back next trip! KT

This place is so cute! The concept is really great-a group of entrepreneurial women who decided to bring their businesses together into one eclectic, vibrant space. They have entirely too many desserts to choose from(a good problem, for sure), DELICIOUS sipping chocolates-I recommend the salted caramel, and a great variety of fresh coffee drinks, toddy, and food. Plus, there’s a little wine bar area in back for those days when you say you’re «going to study or do work» but end up watching Netflix instead with a nice glass of vino :)

A great coffeehouse and wine bar tucked inconspicuously inside a strip mall near 180th and Pacific streets. As soon as you walk in you feel like you’ve been transported to a little European café, with wooden tables, chairs and booths tucked here and there wherever they’ll fit. Oh, and there’s the case full of locally made Italian goodies(canoles!) which flows into a counter full of sweet treats which flows into a bar where you can sip your latte or enjoy a glass of wine. Stories was absolutely packed on a Saturday morning when I stopped in for an Americano, leaving me to believe that those living in west Omaha must be growing weary of the chain coffee shops which populate many a suburban strip mall and are nestled inside nearly every mega-supermarket. I definitely plan on stopping by again the next time I’m in the area.
