I have been coming here since I was a kid. In high school me and my friends would come here and attempt $ 1.00 a plate(6 ½ plates apiece). The downside is the food hasn’t changed in 20+ years, it is mildly bland flavored, plus the same ladies with the same crappy attitudes have worked here since day 1. The plus side is place has expanded a lot, the price has barely gone up over the years, and it is always fresh and hot. Every once in a while I get a craving for some serious Chinese so I come here.

Years ago, my buddies and I tried just about every Chinese buffet in town. Once we found Hong Hing, we stopped going anywhere else. Why? Well, it’s consistently not-gross and always cheap. The staff are quick to refill your drink and clear your empty plates. While Hong Hing doesn’t boast the biggest selection of food, all your staples are there, from crab rangoon to broccoli beef to steamed dumplings. There’s even that weird dessert type stuff you’ll only find at Chinese buffets. Sure, it’s a little sticky inside and the booths are starting to fall apart. And you feel kind of ashamed because, well, you’re eating at a Chinese buffet alongside a bunch of other sad sacks who for some odd reason love to wear leather vests with sweatpants. But for $ 7, you aren’t going to complain and instead hunker down and ingest a couple platefuls of buffet grub in hopes to bury your sorrow, at least for a little while, under a mountain of chicken skewers.

Nothing about this place impressed me. The selection is small. The wait staff is not that friendly. The food is mediocre. I honestly would have enjoyed Panda Express much more.

Place was nearly full at 11:15 on a Wednesday. Good sign. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was good and selections were refreshed quickly. My friend and I agreed this is better than my neighborhood favorite. No Mongolian grill and not a huge selection, but still plenty to satisfy. All the basics and all well done. The windows are whited out(perhaps for privacy and an alternative to blinds) which looks odd when you enter, but the place appeared clean as did the bathroom. We’ll be back.

It’s a low-cost Chinese buffet that delivers what it should. I have never left disappointed.

This place is on point! I am a regular here. The food is fabulous and the staff is very friendly. You would expect to pay more for food this high quality. It always tastes the same and it’s always delicious. They have buffet as well as takeout. You know it’s good when there are people there eating at all times of the day. No matter when I go there are others there enjoying themselves. They have plenty of seating booths and tables(very comfortable). If you are a fan of Chinese food and you haven’t come here yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.

You get what you pay for definitely rings true. I kept reading how amazing this place was but wish I’d paid more attention to how awful it is! Wasted $$. The sweet and sour chicken is big pieces of white meat, that’s about the only thing I can say good. The sauce for it is awful. I could barely stomach anything else. If you think McDonalds burgers are AMAZING then you’ll love this place for Chinese! Honestly, fast food Chinese is better! Wish I’d gone with my alternative of Five Spice like the World Herald recommended!

Not good at all. I would not have picked this place but a friend really wanted to go here and I don’t want to be known as the food snob soooo I offered several other suggestions and she continued to pick chains so I just said«fine» to this one… wish I would have went to a chain. This place was HORRIBLE. POORQUALITY! Flavor was horrible and all jarred food. Cheap. $ 6.99 for a buffet. You know it’s bad when I only eat one plate at a buffet. My kids said it was HORRIBLE and as soon as we got in the car they asked if we could go somewhere for lunch since they didn’t eat LOL!

Went here on a recommendation of an employee. She touted it as the best place ever! After eating there(prob should have walked out) I now believe she has mental problems. If you like, no, LOVE FRIED_________then please help(punish) yourself. Everything was fried on the day I went and every dish except 1 was chicken. Fried chicken. Fried chicken, fried veggies, fried won-ton, fried donut. I bet if I asked I could get fried ice cream. Save your money and your cholesterol and stay away. They get 1 star because the buffet included a drink.

Hong Hing is a staple around my house, great food, generous portions, etc.(How much can you really say about a Chinese place?) They have a huge menu and they also have some kind of buffet, but we always do takeout.
