Geno’s Place

I wish I could write a good review. I know the owner and some of the staff. This bar is the former «Delta House» which I used to go to for years. (and loved)
On the positive side. they have one of the best cooks in Omaha. You will love the menu. (and for those of you who used to go to the «old» Delta House, the menu remains unchanged)
Now for the negative. the new location is blah. It’s got a bland «West O» strip-​mall vibe, and the service SUCKS! I have been there 4 times, and the service was horrible each time I went. So horrible in fact, that most of our «group» will probably not return.
Hopefully this is just «growing pains», as the owner is quite friendly and the bar manager is FANTASTIC. However. the service now is the worst I’ve ever experianced in an Omaha bar.
Most reviews on other sites will confirm this.
Gene. in my opinion. STAFF the bar and get some competent wait staff. Some of the new peeps SUCK. Business will drop off if service remains this bad.
