very enjoyable evening, the club itself is lovely and the staff very friendly. I laughed my eyeliner off with the three comedians. I didn’t eat dinner just bought my ticket and my two drinks — their Shirley temples are delicious for you non drinkers. very fun!

Cleanliness 4 Service 4 Food Quality 2 Likelihood 3 1 – 5(5 Best!) 3.3 Outing for 4 of us, double date. Good time. The food quality is, well, less that what I would expect from bar food. Almost like what you would find at Sams or Walmart. The blended special drinks I thought were made with such cheap ingredients I only drank a few sips. The water was good! The server was incredible, great job! The comics were VERY entertaining. For having had free tickets, it was a good night. It was enjoyable. If I had paid for tickets, I would have been more vocal about the quality of food and beverage.

On my quest to find entertainment in Omaha, we decided to check out the Funny Bone Comedy Club. They seem to give away free tickets quite frequently provided that you buy two items from the menu. We decided to use our«free tickets» a few Saturdays ago. The good: I thought our server was very friendly and attentive the whole night. We received our food and drinks relatively quickly and I thought she did her best not to interrupt the comedy acts. The OK: The food was exactly that… OK. I ordered the mac & cheese($ 13) along with the cheesecake($ 7) for dessert. Both were decent, but nothing amazing. I appreciated that the mac & cheese was a good portion and came out steaming hot. I also appreciated that there was a lot of whipped cream for the cheesecake. The comedians were also«OK.» They had a few good jokes, but nothing extremely funny. I’d say on a scale of 1 – 10, they were about a 7. I tend to be pretty picky about comedians so take this with a grain of salt. The Bad: The host opened with a short comedic bit and it was not funny at all. In fact, I don’t even think I cracked a smile. I understand comedy is hard, but I think it says something when no one in the audience is laughing. Overall, not a bad way to spend a night. The service was great, but everything else was only OK. I might try Funny Bone again another time considering that they rotate through different comedians each week.

This is the second time I’ve been to the funny bone. Both times I’ve been invited out by friends who’ve «won» free tickets. What this club does is give away tickets when they can’t sell to fill up the house. If an act shows up and it’s halfway full or less, they won’t book again. Also it doesn’t matter if the tickets are free. You HAVE to buy at least 2 items on their crappy overpriced menu. The poor folks who show up because they won tickets are always placed down in the front row. Both times my party was sat smack dab in the front, so close you could reach out and touch the act. I don’t like craning my neck for over an hour. The rude manager came over when we switched seats and told us that we had caused a disruption. Excuse me? The show hadn’t even started yet. If I’m going to pay for overpriced food and drinks, I should be able to have a say where I sit. Anyway, this place sucks but at least we got some entertainment out of seeing the security guard and a police officer duke it out with a drunk, blind heckler during the show. Omaha needs better comedy clubs.

Make sure when making reservations through the box office you get the name of the person you are speaking with and a confirmation number, just something to prove you made a reservation. Showed up for a show 12÷13÷14 and was told we didnt have a reservation. Was also told the vouchers I had wouldn’t work despite me asking specifically on the phone if they would work. It was not a special engagement, so they should have worked. Was also told the show had been sold out for months due to Holiday parties. Not true, while standing outside the club after being told we didn’t have reservations, I got online and could have still booked tickets for the later show that night. My friends and I were heading there for my birthday, we planned to do dinner and drinks. I’m sure another local establishment appreciated our nice food and bar tab though! Have to admit I was completely irritated, I understand mistakes happen. If someone had at least said sorry for losing the reservation I would have not left so angry. But all I got was rudeness and no apology. Only reason I give a one star rating is because you can’t give a no star. We had been to the club once before and has such a great time, so was disappointing to go back and be met with such poor customer service. I also sent an e-mail to the club to explain the situation and never got a response. Feel bad for the acts that come in since they get some great talent but since the customer service is poor it makes people hesitant to return.

Okay, I don’t know if I’m a glutton for punishment or what, but I decided to try them again because I have always had a great time and enjoyed the food in the past. I was hoping last week was a fluke, and guess what? It was. On this visit my food was better, but not great, they do need to work on the food a bit. 2 ½ stars for the food. Comedians are funny and entertaining, which accounts for my four star rating.

My rating is based on service and food not the show I saw in November of 2014. Service was great in terms of servers. Parking was plentiful. However, the food is BAD and mediocre for the price you pay. Don’t plan on eating dinner here while watching the show because the food is like carnival food for the price of a foot. After all, don’t expect stellar food from a comedy club. There was a minimum 2 food/drink order for EACH person so do plan your expenses accordingly. The«beer bucket» was offered too which counted for ONE item for TWO people. Non-alcoholic drinks(coke, lemonade, etc) were cheap so you can always go that route if you are a broke college student and/or penny pincher like me.

Me, my wife, my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law all went to see George Lopez stand up comedy act at the FunnyBone yesterday evening. It was a great show and we had excellent seats. The waiting staff was awesome and very efficient. They made sure all of our food was great and our drinks were constantly refilled. We’ve gone to the FunnyBone multiple times, I’ve never had a bad experience & the comedians are always great!

My wife and I have been to The Funny Bone for shows about a half a dozen times and we went to The Funny Bone for a show last weekend. The comedy ‘room’ and act were great, completely awesome. But the food was another story. The food quality was hit and miss, but the prices are freaking outrageous. $ 12 for a small plate of nachos? Give me a break. $ 12 for a club sandwich with about 13 fries? No way. $ 9 for some big pretzle sticks and .50 cent extra for additional sauce? The prices were just ridiculous. And you don’t even get free refills on pop unless you spring for the ‘souvenir’ glass with unlimited refills for $ 8. AND I DIDN’T EVENGET A DANGGLASS! Again, let me re-reiterate, I love the comedy room and the acts, but the food and food prices are ridiculous. Since their is a two-item minimum purchase, I’ll just order two soft drinks next time.

I’ve had many a-laughs at the Funny Bone. My husband and close friends always seem to be getting free tickets and we’ve seen some bigger named people here too. We’ve seen Pauley Shore, Carlos Mencia, and J Medicine Hat before he passed. All were worth the money. They take care of hecklers too, which is nice. They have a two item minimum per person here, so be prepared to order over-priced foods and/or drinks. My husband and I order an entrée to share and an appetizer a piece. He got the pork nachos($ 12), I got the 4 huge pretzels($ 9), and we shared a ginormous club sandwich($ 12). The entrees were very pricey. They do not give pop refills, but instead offer a souvenir glass for $ 8 with unlimited beverage refills. The souvenir glass we got was a plastic Coke glass. I wouldn’t let my husband bring it home. For my huge pretzels I only got a teeny 2 oz. of cheese. I asked for extra for a charge of 50 cents, and it never came :(. I had to eat my salty pretzel old.

We went in a group of four and really enjoyed the comedy show, but the reason I won’t be back has to do with the quality of the food and the outrageous pricing. We ordered the Nacho’s and they were decent, we ordered the dip trio, and the cheese dip was disgusting, the artichoke dip was so bland and tasteless and the black bean dip was disgusting. What really set me off was the buffalo chicken sandwich. It consisted of a fried chicken patty with buffalo sauce slapped on the bun, and our fries were soggy and looked like they had been sitting in the window for 30 minutes. Our server was great and the comedians were great but food and drinks were not worth $ 200. I will never return and I will make sure to let my friends and family know the pricing is not worth the entertainment.

Love the Bone! Been here three times and always have a great time. It is pretty neat all the good acts they get this way in fly over Né-Brass-Ka.

We had some free tickets for the show and arrived early. We were seated in a prime location in the front and the wait staff was great! They took our order immediately and came back frequently throughout the show to check on us. The food was nothing special but weren’t expecting anything like that. Drinks are a little pricey, but it’s what is expected and no different from anywhere else. Great show, venue, and staff! We will definitely be back for more.

The shows I’ve seen here have been good, but we could see that stuff anywhere, so my rating is more based on the actual place itself. The food is pretty bad. It’s mostly appetizer/bar food type. Which fits the norm for comedy clubs. But it’s not good at all. I got the Smokehouse Nachos, which sounded great. It’s like BBQ nachos, which is hard to mess up. I was thinking it was something big enough to share, considering it was $ 13, but it came out super small. My wife also got the dip trio, which is just chips and 3 different dips; cheese dip, spinach dip, and black bean dip. Sounded pretty delicious. It was pretty awful. Weird is the best word I can come up with for the cheese dip. It had almost a plastic taste to it. The spinach dip was also pretty bad. The black bean«dip» was good, but it was just black beans… no dip to it. They have a 2 item minimum purchase, which is annoying considering how much they charge for their bad food. Plus they add 15% gratuity automatically. I typically leave more than that on a tip, but being forced to leave a tip always rubs me the wrong way for some reason. For my nachos and a soda, it ended up being $ 19. I love seeing a comedy show and was excited about some of the people they have coming in, but I definitely won’t be going back here.

Most comedy clubs have a drink minimum. I was prepared for this, and that didn’t bother me in the least. I was not prepared for how uncomfortable the seating was. It was very crowded and the seats facing the aisle are not meant for tall people. My husband is 6′ 6″ and I am 6′. We had to keep our knees in our chins to avoid tripping the wait staff, and the chairs were hard and just very uncomfortable. The service was great, the show was fantastic… just come prepared to sit in a tiny, hard chair.

The comedy is great. The seating is bad. The food is absolutely horrid. We have been here many times and that is my feeling every time I leave. Last Friday the comedy was great but we all left our plates pretty much untouched.

I’ve only been here probably three times in my lifetime of living in Omaha, but each time was pretty hilarious. This most recent visit was to see the Michael Johns Hypno Show, and like other visits in the past — it was because we got an invite from a friend who had free tickets! I remembered immediately why they give away free tickets… there’s a ‘two item’ minimum purchase — per person. But if you’re planning on having a couple of drinks or a meal(or a bucked of beers) while watching the show, this really shouldn’t be an issue. So come prepared to scarf down some pretty legitimately tasty eats in the dark while laughing and enjoying yourself in relatively close proximity to strangers doing the same thing and you’re pretty much guarenteed to have a good time.

love this place. Have seen some awesome comedy, and some tasty food. The price is a little high for the food, I think that’s to offset how little it costs to see an awesome show. Drinks are normally priced as well. Make sure you sign up for the eNews they have, I’ve received a couple of free tickets via this way.

As someone who hails from a comedy club-less town, I find the Funny Bone to be a really fun place to go. Alright, alright maybe we have something that calls itself a comedy club but is really the upstairs of a bar with metal folding chairs and plastic banquet tables. This place looks like Versailles compared to what I have previously been to, even if in reality it may not be the biggest or best comedy club on the block. They have some decent acts who preform here, as well as some lesser knowns who, in my personal opinion, are only funny if you’re partaken in copious amounts of alcohol. There is always one person there laughing so hard you’ll be inclined to believe they started their day off with a bowl of Cheerios and whiskey and haven’t slowed down all day. They laugh before the joke is over, and then keep laughing when the time for laugher is over. It makes for a nice people watching, er hearing, experience. The inside of this place can be very, very crowded if the show is sold out, and if you’re a party of two, you’ll most likely have to share an itty bitty space with two people you don’t know. Depending on your personality, you may view this as a positive or your worst nightmare. The food here is priced at what you’d expect for this type of place. Drinks are pricey, and they charge for water if you don’t order other things. There is no minimum food or drink orders, which is very nice. They do add gratuity to your bill, but in this type of setting it doesn’t really bother me. The downside to this place? The chairs. Oh my goodness gracious alive, they chairs are tiny and are so very uncomfortable. If you’re under 5 feet tall, and weigh less than three digits, then you may have a chance of actually sitting in the chair comfortably, but don’t count on it. Also, if you sign up for the mailing and texting list, you’ll definitely get free tickets often. Who doesn’t love free tickets?
