Save your money! This place will close soon. The food was not made according to what it said on the menu. Wait staff was telling boss that they did not want to be there. Bill was wrong. Will not return.

Cleanliness 4 Service 2 Food Quality 3 Likelihood 2 1 – 5(5 Best!) 2.8 I can’t say that I feel the love… It has been many years since I last ate here. Tonight it was there were 4 of us. I remember how packed it was with good music and a lively atmosphere. I was SO disappointed that they installed small tv’s at every booth and had the game playing. When did this become a sports bar? ICKY! No music playing, other than the noise of the game. Which we all commented we didn’t like. The order taker(not server) was not helpful, not to be seen, and was no where to be found to keep refills up, or bring us what we needed. Just not a great night. The manager brought a beverage to the table, while two of us sat with empty glasses of water and didn’t catch it. It explains the culture of service. Food was ok. Not the best. ok. This was disappointing. How I remember a few years ago when it was great service, great food, great feeling to be there. It is sad in a way, I predict that unless some changes are made soon, this location will not last.

Great Florida beach décor. Like the TVs at the booth. Menu vastly different than it used to be, and I liked the previous menu better. Watch out for the pineapple. It seems to be in nearly everything, and I and others are severely allergic to it. About a third of the menu is off limits to me. We chose the appetizer of soft pretzel sticks with mustard. Good, but way too salty. For the main course, coconut shrimp and house salad. Their cocktail sauce for the shrimp was off, sort of bitter/acidic. Tartar sauce was much better. Shrimp was tasty. The cole slaw that came with was good, not too saucy and has raisins. House salad was ok, but not great. No croutons, but did have nice-sized tomato wedges and real bacon chunks. Our server was okay but didn’t keep our drinks filled. The folks in the booth behind us sat for a long time with no server showing up at all. They finally had to ask if they could please have a server come so they could order. So overall, a mediocre experience. Not bad enough to complain to management, but not good enough to recommend.

Back in 2010 I brought my good Unilocal friend Melissa A. here to eat. Since then it has been purchased by new owners. They also decided to revamp the menu as part of the new ownership. This time I got the appetizer pretzel sticks with dipping sauces & the coconut shrimp with fries and cole slaw. The pretzel sticks with mustard and cheese with salsa were too salty. They were flavorful, as were the shrimp, fries and cole slaw. The cole slaw was delicious. Reminded me of how my mom used to make it. Of note, I feel the cocktail sauce had too much vinegar in it. Clashed with the shrimp. I ended up getting tartar sauce instead. Sara was our server today, and for the first half of our visit she was great. The second half, not so much. My dishes remained on the table long after my appetizer and entrée were finished. My drink was refilled only once, and after that I had to ask for another when she came back from running my payment. I don’t know why I have such a hard time getting refills when I go out to eat, but this getting annoying. Overall, the visit was average. The menu is largely forgettable, and the addition of so many burgers isn’t what it needed. More truly tropical — themed items are needed, and few are to be found. The experience wasn’t good enough for me to recommend to anyone, or for me to come back.

If you are at Village Pointe and looking for a place to sit down and eat a bite it is okay, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there. The service was pretty good, but the food was just okay. The worst part of the experience was the sticky floor under the table that made it feel like our shoes were glued to the floor. The best part was the Chocolate Nachos for dessert. Yummy and fun to eat.

I think they used to be better… I have been in several years and the food wasn’t as good as I remember it. My most recent experience was not horrible but there was room for improvement. It started off great, they said there would be a 20 – 25 min wait when we got there with only one other couple waiting so we went and sat at the bar. The bar staff was extremely busy and after waiting for what seemed like a while someone finally walked past us and I stopped them to ask for a drink menu and the lady gave us water and then the hostess asked us if we still want our table or if we just want to sit at the bar and we said we would still like a table and then to our surprise she told us our table was ready and it had only been about a 10 min wait at most. We never did get our drinks ordered but we did bring our water to our table. This is when our experience started to go down hill. Our waitress was confused where we got our waters and she asked if we already had a waitress and we explained that we got them from the bar and she was like«ok» and walked away. Several minutes later she came back and asked us if we were ready to order and if we knew what we wanted, she never asked us if we wanted drinks or appetizers, yes, we had waters but we still wanted another drink. Anyway we ordered a big appetizer to split for the main course and then we said we also wanted queso and chips, she asked us if we wanted the chips our first for our appetizer and we said yes. Then we ordered our drinks. She seemed kind of confused and disoriented, we basically ordered our meal backward but she probably shouldn’t have asked us what we wanted for our entrée first. Oh well. We did wait a while for our drinks to come from the bar, probably longer than it should have taken because for a Friday night they were really not busy at all at that point, there were several open tables all around us. Then shortly after our entrée came out before our appetizer which was a little annoying, but we managed to survive. We were pretty disappointed in the wings they were basically spicy chicken strips and our waiter was nowhere in site to ask for some ranch. Our waiter also walked past us several times and looked at our table where I had put my empty water glass at the end quite some time ago. At one point she quickly stopped by to ask how we were and I had to ask for more water when it was obviously empty right there. Over all everything negative was just small mistakes but all together it added up and it was just overall kind of annoying. But I’ll probably be back in the future.

Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. The hostess was confused as to where to seat us despite the fact that there was a 6 top(there were 6 of us) less than 3 feet from where she was standing. Our waitstaff started out ok but our waiter was staff reduced & forced to hand us off to a waitress who seemed annoyed that she had to serve us. We had to ask a manager for drinks & they only brought napkins & silverware for 4 of the 6 people at our table. No extra napkins with 4 children at our table. We had to ask for our check and the adult food came out 5 mins ahead of the 3 kids meals — timing people! DONOTRECOMMEND!

I’ve been here several times and have never had a very good experience. I keep coming back because it is really the only sit down restaurant in village point that serves American food. Today’s visit did not meet me satisfaction. We were seated right away(3:00 on a Saturday afternoon). Our server was prompt in taking our order, however we only ordered 2 appetizers and only 1 arrived at our table. When I mentioned our chips/salsa was forgotten the server went to kitchen and returned about 4 min later with chips and queso. Which I must admit, I’m glad he made this error, because the salsa here is way too sweet in my opinion. Our food, upon arrival, was hot, tasted good and had nice presentation.

Stopped by here since we were in the mood for burgers. The place was busy as usual but the wait wasn’t considerably long. I ordered the Black & Bleu burger – it was OK, and the crumbled bleu cheese added a distinct flavor to the meal. My better half ordered their Bistro burger – she said it was a little too tangy for her taste, but nonetheless good overall flavor. Didn’t try any drinks, but we’ll definitely do that the next time we decide to go back.

My husband loved this place… and then they got rid of the sweet potato chips. Disappointedt. That coupled with my terrible salad experience this last week… made the not-so-great review today. I ordered a $ 10 salad with apples, strawberries and pineapple. I had to pull all the apples off, they were mealy and brown. The«strawberries» was actually one strawberry, cut in 4 pieces and placed on the top of store bought iceberg lettuce. The pineapple had large chunks of the hard pineapple core in it. Disappointed.

This restaurant is really good but its fries need a little less seasoning. Kids menu is perfect! No complaints for everything else.

The place is ok all around. The food is ok(taste, portion, and price) and the service is. ok. There’s nothing exceptional or horrible to be said but if you bear with me I’ll go into a little more detail about the ok-ness. The service: We came in at an off time and were fairly put off by it taking 20+ minutes to get our appetizer platters and a kids meal. Longer than it should’ve taken but not an absurd amount of time. Our waiter seemed more concerned with chatting with his coworkers than serving his customers but we weren’t completely ignored. We eventually got those refills. The food: We ordered wings, and then the platter with more wings, mini burgers, and frickles(fried pickles). My son had a chicken strips kids meal. The wings are decent — not crispy but had good flavor, the mini burgers were standard and so were my son’s chicken strips(which were served on a Frisbee you get to take home). The frickles were the only thing not just ok — they and the sauce they’re served with are very good. Not sure they’re good enough to warrant another visit to Cheeseburger in OKville, but very good nonetheless.

Worst experience ever! Ordered to go and waited 35 minutes for my good. After confronting the assistant manager Erin Jensen she just kept saying oh it will be done soon. After 10 minutes longer and I said something again and requested my money back she handed it to me and turned around and walked away and made a ride comment. Very unprofessional

Came here for lunch after smelling the aroma from the sidewalk. It was pretty good. The burger was fresh and the beef good quality. The toppings fresh and tasty. Even though the quality of the beef was good lack of flavor kept me from 4 stars. The service from John F. was really good as well, my drink was always full. The best part of the meal was the fries. I would not waste money upgrading sonic they have really good fries. Overall satisfied, slightly overpriced for what it is but not too bad.

Service was fast and friendly. Didn’t have to wait long for anything. That being said, the food was mediocre. I had hoped it would be like Islands in San Diego. Unfortunately it was not. Very disappointing.

Cheeseburger in Purgatory would be a better name. Arrived at 1:30 on a weekday afternoon, and took 25 minutes from when I placed my order to when the food arrived. All I ordered was the house staple, CIP burger and fries, so it’s not like I was tossing curveballs at the kitchen. The fries must have been done in 10 minutes and sat for the next 15 because they were cool and soggy. The burger was pretty good, but then again for $ 12 it should be. It looked like they have some good drink specials. Maybe that’s the ticket, to while away the afternoon there looking for the lost shaker of salt. But this isn’t the Keys, it’s Omaha on a weekday afternoon and I had places to be.

This was my second visit to Cheeseburger in Paradise. I went on a date night, and we were surrounded by screaming kids. Each table boarding us had at least three kids that were five and under. The waitress was nice, but we felt really rushed. We literally sat down, she gave us the menus, we didn’t even open them, and she asked what we would like to drink and any appetizers. My husband said that he wasn’t sure yet because we hadn’t had a chance to look at the menu. Then she left and didn’t come back for a while. The food was good, but there was nothing special or unique that would make us crave their food.

Usually a good place to stop for dinner and drinks… however this time there was something odd with the staff. We planned to stop in for a quick bite before the comedy show across the street but ultimately ended up eating at the comedy show due to the weird vibe from the staff. We weren’t in a real hurry so we offered to wait for a booth when the hostess said there were only tables available. This should have been our first clue to leave because we walked the place with her and passed several booths that were empty. It seemed like she wanted us in a particular section because when we asked about a large booth in the back she claimed it was saved for someone else. Within a few minutes another hostess seated us at a booth near the front(which was open the entire time??). We asked to be switched because it was small and our friends hadn’t arrived yet so it was no big deal to wait until a bigger one became available. After a little wait another hostess offered to seat us. This hostess took us to the back to the very same booth our first hostess told us was«being saved.» Things were good until the waitress came by. She acted as if we were a burden to her. She took our drink order and gave us menu, pretty standard. Our friends arrived and rather than stopping by to take their drink order, she continued to pass by our table or hang at the bar without coming over to take their order. When she finally came by to take their order it was again as if we had bothered her by being there. By this point I did not have a good feeling about being there and thought if this behavior continued we would not make our comedy show on time, so at that point I made the decision to get the check and leave. When my husband got the check he put a $ 20 bill in the black folder, the bill was around $ 17 or so. When she took the folder she opened it in front of us and said, «do you want change?» No smile and the tone of voice was again as if we were a burden to her. Normally, this most likely would not have been a big deal but given her other recent behaviors I was appalled by her actions. She should have taken the check, rang it up, and brought back the change for us to decide. All in all we spent maybe 30 – 45 min at the table, had one drink, and left. If I return I’d most likely sit at the bar, as I’ve always gotten good service at the bar. The odd behavior of the hostesses and unfriendly waitress was enough to make me avoid the place. Jimmy Buffet would be embarrassed by their behaviors.
