We’ve been here several times and have never had a bad experience. We’ve come as a couple, with friends and with family and haven’t been disappointed with either service or food. The atmosphere is almost a hipper ‘70s — a bit upper class retro, IMO. The sushi, appetizers & desserts have all been exceptional. I’d say my favorites are the Hawaiian roll and the chocolate spring roll for dessert.(The dessert is easily enough for 2!)

The wife and I have eaten here several times. Good had always been good; the service has ranged from excellent to just ok. This was the first time we have had to wait, but I like the text/call when table is ready. After seated it did take awhile to be waited on, but after that initial wait she did a very good job. We will definitely be back. It is very nice to have a decent sushi place right down the road from our house.

They have great sushi. I always like he various kinds of rolls. The blue balls are delish. It’s got a crab mix on the inside. And another favorite is the lettuce wraps. They have a good lunch special, two rolls and a salad for 11 $. Happy hour drinks are good. But not a big savings on rolls.

Good olé stand by for a date lunch with a co-worker, who adores Blue as much as I do. Music is LOUD. Jalepeno margarita is amazing and I wish the sushi wouldn’t end!

I met my SIL here for a girl’s night supper during the week. We had to wait for a table but it ended up being only 15 minutes or so. I like that they use a texting system to alert you instead of those«I don’t know who else touched this red light vibrating disc» things. So that’s a nice touch. We ordered drinks — wine for her and a Brunette Bombshell for me, along with edamame, which I had a free Unilocal code to use. I ordered the ceviche-style hirame and a Philadelphia roll; my SIL ordered the Crunchy LA and one other roll I cannot remember now. All the eel sauce, probably! Our server was attentive but not intrusive; we ordered several rounds of drinks throughout the evening but she didn’t rush us out even after we paid our bill. Overall a nice experience as usual, and I’ll return in the future.

It took forever for the host to seat us — we were waiting for 1 more person and she wouldn’t seat us unti everyone was there even though the restaurant was mostly empty. I guess that’s a loss for the waitress since we would have ordered drinks and an appetizer while we waited. Otherwise the sushi was 4 stars, somewhat overpriced since there are other great sushi options in Omaha, but great value if you visit during happy hour.

Worth going to for date night or even a pretty quick lunch. Seaweed salad… yum! The food is prepared a little differently than other places, hard to explain, but kinda like they care.

Really good meal here on Sunday. All day happy hour for food and drinks. The sushi tasted fresh and unlike other restaurants, the happy hour selection was surprisingly large. Also tried the Shishito peppers appetizer. Highly recommend! Looking forward to our next trip.

I adore Baby Blue. First of all, you can’t go wrong with cucumber water. Who needs lemon or lime garnishing your water when you can have a cucumber! Since I arrived back in omaha, I had to come to Baby Blue! We started out with our favorite flavorful appetizer the mango crab Rangoon. The lunch special with two maki rolls and miso soup is a steal! The miso is super savory and all of the maki are scrumptious. I loved my fresh Eden roll with sweet potato tempura, basil hummus and sun dried Tomato garnish. For my second maki I got the crunchy blue roll filled with spicy crap and topped with crunchy tempura flakes and decadent eel sauce. Yum! I’m sad it is over! Thanks again for a wonderful meal, Baby Blue! Service was nice and attentive. Facility was clean and prices are reasonable, especially at lunch!

For Omaha, this is one of the best sushi places. Go on Sunday for an awesome happy hour and awesome mixed drinks!

Friendly, helpful service. Lots of amazing vegan sushi options that were marked with a «V». They had vegan options other than sushi but they weren’t marked on the menu. Loved everything I tried! With all the vegan options available I wish they offered a dessert.

I love Blue’s variety of vegetarian sushi. It’s refreshing to have more options than just«avocado roll or veggie roll»? I love the edamame hummus, and the vegetarian lettuce wraps are AHMAYZING. Service is generally good. The all day Sunday happy hour is great, but generally pretty busy no matter what time you go.

Chicken lettuce wraps are so good here. I’m not a sea food guy so I can’t say how that is but I love coming here.

Not as good as other sushi restaurants in Omaha. Too costly to be worth while outside of happy hour. Even then, the happy hour menu is pretty selective and a bit pricey.

Best place for sushi in Omaha. We love the hotel cali. The décor is interesting but the venue is very noisy. Regardless, food is awesomely delish.

Better than the Old Market location. Nice specials, good cocktail mix, eclectic crowd for West O. Quick and efficient.

Back in Omaha and was missing sushi so stopped into Blue. I had been to the original Blue years ago and enjoyed it so thought I would try this one. It seemed a little unorganized so I just wandered around till I found an open seat at the bar and ordered. Some regulars walked in after me and sat down so I had to wait while they were taken care of but finally got someone’s attention and ordered a drink and some food. It was OK and happy hour prices so all good. I am not a big fan of the metal chopsticks but they get props for having a large Fugu in the huge fish tank mounted above thy e bar. Overall OK.

My review for baby blue in legacy is similar to that of my Blue review for the 144th and maple location. Consistently excellent food. The fish always tastes fresh. Yes, at the sushi is Americanized, but I love sashimi and nigiri and I appreciate wherever they source their fish. However, I cannot get over the issues that I have with service on a way too regular basis. It’s just the little things. For example, on a very slow Saturday night, it took quite a while for our waitress to come and greet us and take our drink orders. Then I used my check in offer for free edamame yet it showed up on the bill. Finally, on this late Saturday night we were literally the only table in the restaurant. As we were leaving the hostess comes up to us and asks if if we would like to be seated. How she did not notice that we were the only table there for quite some time I don’t know. You come here for the food and trendy atmosphere you do not come here for the service.

I have frequented the downtown and Maple locations, but had never been to this one. We stopped in as a continuation after brunch on an impromptu Sunday Funday. The décor and ambiance are fun and comparable to the other locations with pristine salt water fish tanks filled with colorful fish, glowing red/blue bar lights, a bar adorned with various liquors infusing, and the dark bathrooms with newspaper covered walls. The restaurant was pretty full but the hostess got us a table for our group of 10 in about 5 minutes, which was pretty impressive. As you might imagine, everyone was a few drinks in by the time we got here. Despite the slightly loud nature of our group, our waitress was awesome! She quickly greeted our table and got everyone waters. She took drink and food orders in a friendly and efficient manner and was even patient with the occasional indecisiveness. We never really had to wait for drinks and she also quickly split our checks for us. They have all day happy hour on Sundays and they have one of the better happy hours around, with a great variety of both food and drink options at a decently discounted price. I stuck with the $ 3 margaritas while my husband went with the $ 2 Coors light draws. A couple people in our party ordered from the martini menu and assured me they were on point with the delicious martinis I have had at the other Blue locations. My husband and I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps to share and, despite the restaurant being full, our food arrived in about 8 minutes. Blue’s lettuce wraps are my favorite. I usually prefer the vegetarian but I settled for chicken to appease my meat-loving husband. Really, both are great options, and you cannot beat the happy hour price. They are served on a platter of sorts with different toppings and multiple sauce choices so you can assemble them how you like them. You get a good amount of food for the price. Also, if you check in here on Unilocal you can get a free order of Edamame. This location is now the closest to my work and home so I will probably be frequenting this location more often. I didn’t try any sushi on this visit, but I have always been very happy with the sushi at the other locations. I was very happy with the food, drinks, and service on this visit and cannot wait to come back again!
