I have had a few friends recommend this place and decided to finally check it out. The space is really beautiful with higher end massaging chairs, décor and layout. I received a classic pedicure which took about 30 minutes and ran $ 28. It was pretty bare bones service wise — not much massage or work on callouses but you can add extra services on to address those areas. I was overall happy with the service I received and plan to be back.

Continuing to be the best salon in omaha. Love the options it provides for nails and tanning. All stop in shop. Every type of waxing and facial, nail care possible.

I was seated for my pedi within minutes. Emmy gave me the most amazing massage I have ever had with a pedi! Not to mention all the care and attention she paid to my toes and cuticles. She did not rush through the pedi at all! I will be back!

My first visit today, had the sweetest nail tech, Hoa, and I’ve never been happier with a manicure or the atmosphere. Already booked a manicure/pedicure for the 22nd. Really recommend this place!!!

The interior is really nice! Relaxing and open layout with pretty pedicure tubs and nice leather massage chairs. And a really important factor: the place was extremely clean! The young lady that checked me in really seemed to know about the services and was easy to understand. My pedicurist was gentle and skilled. Often times pedicurists are a bit rough… I suppose they get jaded from the sheer number of people they work on and the fact that it’s pretty repetitive work. But this one payed very close attention to what she was doing and was customizing the experience to me. What a breath of fresh air! I ended up going with one of the pedicure specials, and it was a good price for the value. For $ 38 I got a scrub, callus treatment, paraffin wax, hot stones, and the usual polish and nail trimming. The massage with lotion was about 2 or 3 times as long as other places… which made me a happy girl! I wish the mint scrub had been longer, but that’s because she did such a good job. The paraffin wax wasn’t too hot(I’ve been scalded before!) and they actually put these adorable little white cotton booties on your feet after putting the wax on. This is really nice, as I’ve always found it odd to be sitting there with plastic bags on my feet. They also offer pedicures and manicures of differing price and service levels, so you can pick which type of treatment you need/want. My only complaint is the limited polish color choices. There were probably 25% less options than other nail salons. Honestly I’m very surprised at the poor reviews of this place so far… but I will definitely be back!

I got the allergy herbal relief pedicure and I am not fully satisfied, I expected more for their monthly special and for the price I think it was $ 38. I’ve had better pedicures for cheaper and wasn’t considered a special. My «hot stones» we’re more luke warm. The lady doing mine was not really friendly and didn’t try to make conversation at all. She was also less than gentle and her nails kept scratching me. It really wasn’t relaxing either. I would have been happy with it if the stones were hot. I just expected more for a special.

Today I went in as usual but sat and waited 45 minutes an watched 2 groups of 2 people go ahead of me. They did not have an appointment. When I was waiting I herd these people being told there was a long wait and I had already been there for 20 minutes. When I said something they tried to tell me they had appointment but I know that wasn’t true. They let me walk out without trying to make things right. I usually love this place the service has always been great until today. I’ve been going here for years but I’m not sure if I’ll go back. Last review I have this salon was 4 stars. I understand it’s prom season but adults should get service too!

American Nails is an affordable, consistently middle of the road mani/pedi. Pros: –Consistently decent polish job –Lots of price point options for pedicures(however, sometimes hard to tell the difference in what you are paying for) –Use and identify CND Shellac(which I think looks better and is easier to remove than any other kind) Cons: –Cleanliness is okay, but not awesome –Pedicure could be more thorough in terms of callus work –The experience is good, but it is not the type of pedi where you walk away going, that was AMAZING Bottom line is that it is a good place for a routine pedi, but isn’t anything special.

Underwhelmed for«Best of Omaha.» Went in for just a pedicured and did the spring special pedicure. Very clean salon, good polish selection. However, the pedicure was very quick and the Polish was not applied very well, there was no top coat applied and my nails were left very tacky. Probably would not return, would try somewhere else before going back.

I normally really like this place. It is clean and people are friendly. The last time I was there, I went with a couple of friends and we all had pedicures. I paid a little extra to get my feet dipped in wax, so mine took a little longer. The owner kept coming up to my technician and telling her to hurry up and then went so far as to bring 4 people who were there together to stand there in front of me and the now empty seats around me to stare at me and wait. Very unprofessional! I realize you are busy and I realize that the more people you move in and out of there, the more money you make, but you also need to remember that good customer service is what keeps people coming back. They need to remember that if they want to continue getting their votes for«Best of Omaha».

Very enjoyable time. I just got a simple mani/pedi so nothing too exciting to review.
