Now don’t get it twisted, unless you LOVETWOFLAVORS! BESTTREATEVER! There is just something about Rita’s that makes you smile. Brings you back to the days in summer when you’d get ice cream with your family. I recommend any location, as I have been to Rita’s in 3 states now, and been pleased everytime! It’s worth the extra drive if there isn’t a «year ’round» parlor bear you!

I LOVE Rita’s(and the owner here is SO nice), but the last six times I have been here with my kids the custard was grainy. Another customer actually complained about it last time, so I know it’s not just me.

Rita’s is such a yummy treat! I wish I had one closer in NC, but sadly the closest is a 30 minute drive. The Olney location is a great one. It is always very clean and they always have a great selection of flavors. It is definitely a great price, especially compared to Coldstone nearby. I usually get a gelati. It is a layer of frozen custard, layer of ice, then more custard on top. My personal favorite ices are cookie dough, fudge brownie, mint chocolate chip, strawberry, and raspberry lemonade. They use real fruit which is awesome! My picky dad even enjoys Rita’s and he hardly likes anything.

Italian Ice is awesome and the service here is always very good. Sometimes in the summer, the line can get long, but can you blame people? It will still be worth your time.

Always clean and cheerful. Indoor(hooray!) seating. Very popular place. Don’t come right after camp lets out!

I don’t know hIw anyone could like this. It’s sickly sweet and has barely any flavor. If u want a good frozen dessert, save your money and go to cold stone, yogiberry or the new baskin robins and do yourself a favor

bahhhh so delicious. being from colorado, this whole notion of soft serve IN italian ice just blew my mind. BUTITWASSOGOOD. again being from colorado, i wasn’t used to the whole humidity issue which made 90 degrees about 90 degrees hotter, and rita’s was the perfect summer cool-down. come to colorado please!!!

Yum! Rita’s ices are so tasty and refreshing. Most of the fruit flavors have real pieces of fruit inside. There are a number of staple flavors and a few which change. My biggest problem is that Rita’s is so popular there is often a long line. Usually it moves quickly, but I often get stuck behind a family of fickle kids.

Rita’s has been a favorite sweet treat of mine since high school. At that time, the closest locations to where I lived were either Crofton or Burtonsville. Now they are popping up all over the place. The Olney Rita’s has been around for almost 2 years and I was thrilled to have one so close to where I live. This year, the Olney Rita’s has already been open for a few months(perhaps since late winter even?) while it seems most don’t open until the weather really warms up. In my opinion, all of their franchises should be open year round.(Many are in other states, but there are a few in Maryland.) You can get ice cream in the winter, why not Italian ice too? They furthermore have absolutely no competition since no other Italian ice places exist in this area(at least that I’m aware of…) But anyway… Rita’s is definitely a popular spot during the weekends, nights, or pretty much anytime in the summer. They have a great selection of ices. Their products allow various combinations of flavored ice, custard, and add-ins, which makes each experience there different. They will also let you sample different flavors if you want to figure out what you’ll like before you buy it! This location does have indoor seating and I believe some outdoor benches.
