Excellent corned beef and great tasting rye bread. Nice size sandwich. Best corned beef in the area. Highly recommended. Must try if you are a corned beef fan. Have visited twice and looking forward to eating there again.

Like their name suggests — Corned Beef King. Like most have mentioned, don’t let the gas station discourage you. Had the Reuben. It was better then the average. Not sure I would call it the best, a little heavy on the sauerkraut. But a mighty fine sandwich that I would recommend. I’ll be back to explore other menu items.

Read about this place on Unilocal and agree with all the enthusiastic reviews. Corn beef is outstanding! Went at an off hour so no wait. I sampled my son’s Mac and cheese which was good but he really loves his pastrami. Not a lot of bread choices beyond Rye— Kaiser and baguette. And it really is in a gas station!

So disappointed! They promised New York style corned beef and instead I got deli counter corned beef. When they bragged about NY style, had they bothered trying Katz deli or Broadway deli? That’s real corned beef! Katz deli charges about the same for a sandwich and taste a million times better. The rye bread was good but everything else is over priced and failed to deliver on the hype!

Wow, great Ruben. The sandwich was a monster, I loved the angry sauce-which wasn’t really angry but maybe a little mad. Very interesting bring in a gas station. Really one of the best Rubens I have had. Do it soon, you will be glad you did!!!

If you come to Olney you have to swing by the little corn beef place at the gas station. I know it sounds weird but they have the best corn beef on the planet. They also have killer onion rings. The food is expensive but when the portions are big enough to serve two it’s easier to stretch your dollar.

OMG! Dont go unless you are prepared to become addicted to corned beef, brisket, pastrami and knishes! The sandwiches are huge, the sides are so good. I know the word«bomb» is probably outdated but this place is as good as it gets. Boom!

I really enjoyed the brisket on the Kaiser roll, it was pretty good. They’re not shy on the portions, it was quite fulfilling. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Doesn’t have to break the bank to get 5 stars in my opinion. Nothing to too much to say other than if you are a fan of cornbeef, this place is a must. I would recommend getting the potato salad or fries with your sandwich. The folks are really nice and you’ll often run into locals who visit their on a regular bases. I wish I understood their food truck schedule a bit better so I can pig out on their sandwich more often. I also been exploring their brisket and pastrami and both are delicious as well. Make a trip up 108⁄97 and get yourself a sandwich!

This spot caught me off guard. Its in a gas station. I sat in my car while looking at the menu online and at least 15 people went on. It appeared that no one was buying gas LOL… big servings, reasonable prices, great food and low wait times make it a good place to GRUB!

Don’t get scared off by the gas station location. This is simply the best Reuben I’ve ever had. And I’ve had quite a few, from the disaster that is the sub-place-that-shall-not-be-named-but-rhymes-with-Pubway version through various incarnations, to this, the true King of Reubens. You will need four(4) napkins for this one. Five if you don’t have a beard. It’s perfectly assembled — not too much sauce, not too little sauerkraut, and a whole heaping pile of corned beef. And a pickle, of course. Plenty of other delectable-looking offerings on the menu, generally built around corned beef(duh), brisket, and pastrami. Including such novelties as a brisket cheese steak. Drinks are available from the gas station. There’s very little seating so if you bring a crowd, prepare to stand and dribble. Pro tip: do NOT get a knish. You won’t have room, but you’ll eat it anyway, and then it’s food coma time.

Toss up between a 3 and a 4. I’ve only been here once and I ordered the Oh Johnny, which is essentially a french dip. The perks is it came with a ton of meat. The brisket was okay, but I would have liked it to be sliced rather than cubed. The cubes tended to fall off the bun. Also wouldn’t have minded if the onions were cooked down a little more. It was probably a decent price for the amount of meat on the sandwich, but I would have rather gotten a little less and not paid $ 11 and change. I really liked the horseradish mayo that they use though. Definitely worth checking out. I’ll probably go back to try something else.

I’ve been here many times since I live about 4 min away. I’ve tried most of the menu and it was an ok place to grab a quality sandwich. It def a place where you pay for what you get.(quality is top notch!!) But what completely blew my mind was the steak and cheese! It’s the care that goes into the meat that completely takes what you think a steak and cheese should be and completely blows your taste buds! An amazing place and a great addition to our lil Olney town! Thank you! And the potatoe salad is pretty much the best side I’ve ever had!

The Milly Ann corned beef sandwich blew me away, and I like to think it helped massively with my first impression of Maryland. The corned beef was melting tender and full of flavour, and so were the rye bread and slaw. It was so good actually, I almost cried a little, and then I wanted to get up and dance my happy dance. YESPLEASEEEEEEE ** We went to the shop inside the gas station, not the food truck. It was not easy to find as it was our first time, but the shop is literally inside the gas station.

Went once. Moved out of the area the next week. Probably a good thing because it was so ridiculously delicious that I would’ve gained 20 pounds if I had stayed there another month. My wife and I each had a sandwich. I remember the roast beef au jus, and just the concept of the other… it’s been a good year and a half, and that sandwich haunts my dreams. A gas station sandwich shop has absolutely no business being this good.

being noobs to this place we tried the pastrami on rye and the corned beef on rye. corned beef was juicy and so flavorful! delicious! and the pastrami was less juicy(as expected since it’s smoked) and had a great flavor to it, distinct from the corned beef. the rye bread is dense and soft. the hot mustard that tied it all together really helped meld the flavors. definitely love this place, who knew what a gem olney had(aside from sister sandwiches of course). this place is definitely a winner! it definitely rivals the deli pastrami and corned beef i grab from the laurel dutch market ;) the store inside the gas station is more extensive than the truck parked right outside. next time we’ll have to try the sauces, heard they’re pretty on cue too =D

I could write a long review but there’s really no point. This place has the best corned beef you’re going to get in DC, MD, or VA. a) It’s in a gas station — get over it b) The rye bread is incredible c) The sandwiches are PACKED with meat d) You will not leave hungry e) You will leave happy Go there. Eat the corned beef. You’re welcome.

Environment: Gas station + tables(?) What I ate: «Manhattan» What I think: I’ll say the sandwich was surprisingly good, can’t believe there is a place with this quality of food but in a gas station! But unfortunately the price was also surprisingly high… I understand that topping so much meat into a sandwich can be very costly maybe they should have half sandwiches on the menu to cut down the cost and make it a more affordable daily lunch. Either way I’ll definitely come back here again!

The truck was parked at the Bethesda women’s co-op market. I saw it and ordered a sandwich on a whim. It was good. Not great, and as expensive as going to Heckmans, but good. I was impressed with the meat, but the rye bread was a little thin. A good place to pick up a sandwich if you are on the go. But with no place to sit, and not the kind of overhead of a regular deli, I’m not sure why it is so expensive?

Don’t be put off that this place is in a gas station. They serve some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The customer service is always awesome too. Today I had the pastrami on rye with mustard. They use spicy mustard, which is my favorite. Even though it cost me $ 27 for two sandwiches, they will still get my business.
