Walked in and got seen within 30 minutes. Staff was nice and made me feel comfortable. They also have a big screen tv in the waiting room.

Ampla Yuba City is an unfailingly unkind and unhelpful place. I realize they must be paid very little, but the front desk people treat you like dirt (every time!) no matter how polite and friendly you are to them and the «doctors» (you’ll see a nurse practitioner or lower) don’t listen, don’t care, barely even examine you. I think these are the C– and down students from whatever schools they graduate from. It’s truly a humiliating experience every time I contact them, and if I had a serious illness I’m sure it could be a deadly one as well.

The dental side is awesome, I’ve never been to the health clinic side.
All of the staff, from front to back, are very friendly, helpful, and kind. I have great conversations with all the employees I come in contact with and they’re very attentive to my needs, questions, and concerns. They do great work from what I’ve experienced. The building is clean and the staff is very professional. The wait times aren’t long and scheduling is easy. The only problem I’ve had is not getting my messages returned a couple of times, but that’s not too bad because I call back and they help me out.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been to the Ampla in Yuba City and had no problems. I recently took my two foster boys to the Ampla in Olivehurst, CA and was extremely disappointed. The nurse was very rude and seemed very judgmental that I was white and the boys were African american. She was not helpful when I asked questions and seemed overall annoyed that I was there. She was not compassionate at all when the boys were scared and just told the other nurses to hold them down tighter. However, the Dr. we saw was very friendly and helpful. Also, they were in the process of remodeling and there were electrical wires hanging from the ceiling and trash all over the ground. Not the best environment for a 2, 4 & 5 yr old.

Going into this place we were already upset. The building was old and gross and you could tell they were only doing the very basics to try and «update» what they did not have going for them. My mother was asked to reschedule her appt 3 times before this one. She had an appt for 9am. And when she finally said something about how long she had been in the dentist chair without being helped. (1.5hrs) she was told that «they were busy and if she wanted she could reschedule» who in their right mind would tell their customer they could reschedule. I wish I had known my mother was treated so horribly. We definitely would have taken our business elsewhere, and now We will never go back there.
