Came here because I had a groupon. Honestly food wasn’t anything special. Wouldn’t come again.

I come here usually once or twice a month with friends/family/coworkers. The food is pretty good and the staff is always friendly, the only thing I’ve noticed is that the portions have gotten a hair smaller but still a good portion for the amount you’re paying. Pricing is reasonable and food comes out relatively quickly.

Food here is amazing. Not a huge selection but has all the Italian staples and some different dishes as well. Healthy options– the shrimp and avocado salad is amazingggggg! Staff is very friendly. Good atmosphere and lots of TVs to catch a game. Good place for a date or casual family/friends night.

Actually feel like over time that the food is really good. Bensi’s is actually one of the few places where I’ll order roast chicken. I love the potatoes that come with it also. I really believe there’s a comforting quality of the food here that makes me want to eat here consistently. And judging by how it’s been getting busier, people are starting to notice. The staff is really nice and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated.

Nice enough place, went in on Sunday night. We were surprised that the restaurant was not crowded. After eating there I can understand why. I ordered the pasta fagolia soup and a plain pizza. The soup had zero flavor. This is a simple soup to make. There is no way the chef had tasted it as it was devoid of any flavor. The pizza was better than the soup however again the flavor was off the mark. There are far better places to dine, and spend your money.

We went on a Sunday for lunch, it was empty. Used a groupon and would not return without another one. Nice setting and clean. Service was fine. We ate Calamari, wouldnt get it again. Even though it was lightly battered it was was from frozen and chewy. Also had whole wheat penne vodka sauce, it was O.K. Eggplant parm small pizza was very good. It was light, fresh ingredients, good crust, and tasty. We would order the pizza again.

This place is okay but when you are surrounded by amazing and original Italian restaurants, why go to a chain? The food was okay and the service was slow. My father had a groupon so we tried it out but we were not impressed and will not be leaving our go-to italian restaraunt.

My friends and I stopped by on valentine’s day and we were very delighted to have such a lovely meal. The complimentary starter was freshly hot baked bread with butter! Yummy! The ravioli with cheese was delicious, the lasagne was a huge portion as was the other entre ordered. They have lunch specials and dinner available at lunch time. Parking lot outside.

Been here a few times food is amazing service is always excellent my server was Oscar we had a good experience at Bensi Old Tappan been on other location as well but so far Bensi in old Tappan stole our Hearts thank you For the good time and the Good Food We’ll be back
