I really like their food! My fav is their gluten free pizza!

This used to be our favorite pizza place for lunch and we used to buy 15– 20 pies at a time for our employees but now it’s no longer a place we will support because of our recent experience. I ordered food for a meeting at around 11:45 am. The guy I spoke to said our order would take about 30 – 40 minutes. At 12:30 pm, our food still did not arrive. I called and asked where our food was and the woman who answered said it was on its way and they have school pies today. At around 12:45 pm, I called again and said our food is still not here. The woman who answered the phone had an attitude with me and said «I told you it was on the way.» I asked, «Did it actually leave your establishment?» And she replied with a nasty attitude, «No.» Then I asked, «Did you guys even make it?» And she said, «It’s already made but there are deliveries ahead of you and I told you that there were school pies.» I asked, «What does that have to do with our order? We placed it over 45 minutes ago.» She said, «That’s right, your order is supposed to take 30 – 45 minutes.» I replied, «It has been over 45 minutes and if I had known it would take longer than 45 minutes, we would have sent someone earlier to pick it up.» She replied, «Well you can either pick it up or wait for it to be delivered.» I told her we would pick it up. So we sent someone to pick it up and they had a nasty attitude with that person, even when we did them a favor by picking it up. And to top it all off, there was a piece of hair in one of the sandwiches. So with that, we will never buy from them again.

I had the margherita pizza.
I think they use pollyo string cheese.
The crust broke off in three pieces.
This was probably one of the more disappointing pizza I had.
Two slices and a can of soda came to $ 9.75.
The place is clean and the service is decent.
Unfortunato pizza would better for their name.

Terrible customer service. Pizza was fine. After placing an order, over an hour later the delivery guy finally showed up… without one of the pizzas we ordered for a guest who is strictly Gluten free. When we called to let them know, they said they’d call us back. After about 15 minutes later, no phone call. We called them back & they rudely passed me to 3 different people before finally speaking to a manager. I was told that «there were lots of people waiting for their food» & they guessed the delivery guy gave it to someone else… no apology. Another 45 minutes later they finally showed up with the pizza. At least they took the cost of that pizza off the bill. My friends & I were very disappointed, and will not be back.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times already. I have to say I am definitely a fan! They are progressive in terms of offering «healthy» items on the menu — great salads and gluten free choices. I had a couple slices of their pizza margherita. It was outstanding! The pizza slices are big! And, the pizza slices are not drippy or greasy. I will definitely be back here again and again!

Considering the many positive Unilocal reviews, I kind of was disappointed with Broadway Pizza. While I do not consider myself a pizza snob, I was underwhelmed with the two slices I ordered. After I entered, I noticed that the slices in the case seemed like they had been sitting there a while, which should have been the first indication that I would be disappointed, but I ordered anyway as I was hungry. I ordered a White Spinach slice and Margherita slice. While the slices were large in size, the crust seemed slightly undercooked and there was not as much cheese as I had hoped for. The bland, uniformly shaped spinach ruined the spinach slice as it gave off the impression that the spinach was frozen, as opposed to fresh. The ricotta was OK as it was pleasantly salty, but the mozzarella seemed kind of dry. I preferred the Margherita slice, which had a fresh, well balanced through slightly sweet tomato sauce and a larger amount of cheese than the first slice, which was not as dry as the White Spinach slice. While the price at $ 7.49 with tax for two slices was average, I felt a bit like I wasted my money as the slices did not blow me away. If there were redeeming factors about Broadway Pizza, it would have to be the facts that the employees were very friendly and that it was very clean. Unfortunately, due to the disappointing pizza, Broadway Pizza will probably not be a stop for me while I am in Northvale.

It may be tough to find a pizza place to rave about, but search no more. Specialty slices abound in this place and I keep finding new varieties to try. Most times, I’ll offer to pick up lunch for the office because I love to see the array of tasty offerings. The grilled vegetable slice should be eaten with a fork and knife and would thrill any dietitian. The eggplant pinwheels are absolutely delicious and they have great soups in the winter. I don’t know why more places can’t be like this, but this is my GO TO spot for pizza and Italian takeout.

Pizza slices are huge I made the mistake when I ordered 2 slices. Lots of specialty slices to order from.

Great Pizza place. I will admit I have never tried just a plain slice here. They have too many great specialty pies that are too tempting. My favorite is the Taco Pizza! It has me drooling just thinking about it.

Great under appreciated local pizza place. Their gourmet pizzas are just one of the reasons I keep going back. Try the Portobello mushroom supreme pizza to see what I mean. Their regular slices are avg but a good size.
