Ate here with my wife and a friend of our daughter. We all had linquini scampi style — mine with shrimp and the girls with shrimp, scallops, and O Rings. Very large portions and succulent. We all enjoyed wine — me the Chianti, my wife the reisling, and the friend Moscato. We were stuffed at the end. Great and fast service with water and garlic knots served within a couple minutes of studying the menu. The girls shared a carrot cake at the end. Will definitely go back when we are in the area. Prices were reasonable for what we got. Comparable to other restaurants.

FIORE’S…WHENYOURTIRED. HUNGRYANDYOUWANT A GREATMEAL! THINKFIORE! WEMIGHTONEOFFIORE’S OLDESTCUSTOMERS. I don’t mean«oldest eating at this wonderful restaurant» I mean«OLDESTINAGE». Doc Wisch turned 93 this past July 5th. We eat this great food, just about every week-end. Ever since two of our friends introduced us to Fiore’s years ago. Fiore’s will go out of their way to make each meal special and just as you like it. The staff… Server’s, cooks and most important Executive Chief… serves only Quality Food with each ingredient purposely introduced, in combinations, that will create delicious meal, that are consistent and satisfying… Every table is served«Hot, Fresh Garlic Knots» that are so tasty & a wonderful introduction to a great meal to come. This is not«JUSTANOTHERPIZZAPLACE» Their menu offers something for everyone, old style Pizza, Pasta’s, italian Specialties but I must mention, The High Quality of Meats, Fish & Homemade sauces. I am sure you will agree, if you enjoy a great Veal dish… once you taste Fiore“s Veal, you will be amazed! Don’t pass this restaurant off, as just your local Pizza restaurant… IT A REALSLEEPER! A place to relax an Enjoy. Great for families, kid friendly or a glass of wine between two friends! If you really want a treat, ask for Sammy! He is a part of the Fiore Family and will make sure your eating experience will be remembered and you will look forward to coming back!

I went in on a busy Sat. night, and was seated right away. The server brought the garlic knots and soda right away, but then disappeared for quite a while. She finally came to take the order(Small mozz. pizza) and didn’t offer to refill the soda. When the pizza came, she set it down and took off before I could ask for more soda. When I finally was able to flag her down for more soda, she grabbed the glass as she was on her way to bring something out to the outdoor seating area. I thought it was strange that she would bring my glass with her as she went outside. When I finished, I sat there for about 10 minutes until one of the other servers noticed me. She cleared the dishes and apparently told the other girl that I needed the check. The pizza was extremely thin. Some people like that. I prefer a little substance to mine. It was probably a 3 star food rating, but the lack of service drops it to a 2 star rating. The male server and the other female server seemed to be doing a great job! Luck of the draw, I guess. As other reviews stated, this place is VERY loud!

Nothing remarkable. Very loud dining room. Bring a sweater. Very good AC. Pastas just OK. Red wine extremely sweet and dry. Beers very cold. Again, nothing remarkable. Prices and parking made for the 3rd star rating.

Had an awful experience and won’t return: When we were seated for dinner last night, I noticed the walls were filthy. They had all sorts of dirt and stains on them. I ordered the veal a la casa and instead was served chicken. After ordering, we noticed the unmistakable smell of marijuana wafting out of the kitchen. The place had a very loud and rowdy, obnoxious crowd of strange people who made dining there less than pleasant. There were teenagers there who were clearly underage and were readily served beer. I took home the extra garlic knots. I just opened them to have one for lunch and found a hair in them(the hair was NOT from a head). Totally disgusted! On a closing note, because I ALWAYS give credit where it is due, the same waiter has waited on us every single time we’ve eaten here. He is one of the best waiters I’ve ever come across. He is friendly, personable and just an all-around great guy. He should – in no way – be associated with my poor review of this restaurant, as he is top-notch!

What a surprise for a pizza place. My wife and I was looking for a pizza. But seeing the italian entries made us change our minds on pizza. The two entries that we had you would think you were on Federal Hill in Providence. I will back soon even do I live 1 ½ away.

Haven’t been there in a few months, went back tonight. Something’s definitely changed — regular host is gone, kitchen staff looks different. There was no bruschetta with the garlic knots :-(. The salads seemed skimpier than before. Had the chicken pizzeola and asked for it on top of broccoli instead of pasta(which I’ve loved in the past) but this time they put it on the side and it was very underdone. The broccoli in my daughters Tortellini Fiore was cooked more thoroughly. The dishes both tasted fine and the prices were in line with what I expected. All in all, I am not sure what’s going on. I haven’t given up on it but I am definitely not taking it for granted that I will enjoy myself anymore.

Ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. Awful! Can’t taste any BBQ and just dried pieces of chicken. We are locals and been going there but felt that no effort was put into this. Called to tell them we got wrong pizza they said«that’s what it is».

I haven’t a clue what their pizza is like. But I do know that if you want a lovely Italian veal dinner, great and friendly service, and all for a very reasonable price, go here.

Worse pizza I have had in a long time. I had barbecued chicken pizza and the chicken was like rubber and may not have been cooked thoroughly. Was looking forward to a good pizza but the reviews were way off.

I hate writing bad reviews for restaurants but I was so disappointed today. Stopped in for lunch at around 3pm. There was 1 table finishing up as we got seated so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Sat down, got our sodas within 5 minutes and looked over the menu. The waiter came to our table only to take the orders and bring the food out. There was no «how are you doing?» Or «can I get you another drink». I don’t eat meat or dairy(I do eat eggs and fish) so I couldn’t eat the complimentary garlic knots but my boyfriend said they were good. We ordered fried calamari as an app to split, and it came out in a generous portion for $ 9 but I was disappointed that we got only sliced mantle and not whole squid. On to the entrees… My boyfriend got a burger with fries and I got a veggie wrap with fries. When I ordered the wrap I said no spinach or very tiny bit, but when the food came out my wrap consisted of 95% spinach and 5% what I actually wanted. To top it off they substituted our fries with sweet potato fries(which we both hate). If they were out of fries I would’ve ordered pasta or something else but since it just came out I wasn’t even given the option. $ 33 later and I ended up going home to eat. Overall very unsatisfied with the food preparation and half hazard service and will not be going back.

The service was great. Although I kinda felt rushed at first. The waiter was knowledgable about the menu. I wound up going with the veal Parmesan which was great. The garlic knots were complimentary that were just as good. The portions were great. My girl had tortellini pana, and she said it was good. Our dinners were great tonight. They’ll see me again. FYI glass of wine was $ 5.

We have been going to Fiore’s for years and it was one of our favorite places in Old Saybrook. About 2 years ago they remodeled the restaurant and things have gone downhill since. I decided to give it one more try because I love their penne a la vodka but we were extremely disappointed all around. The service was abysmal especially because the restaurant was barely half full when we arrived and still fully staffed. We waited 10 minutes to get our two waters and an iced tea then another 10 minutes to order even though we were ready to order by the time they took our drink order. The salad came quick but as usual they don’t dry the lettuce and the dressings are disappointing. The rolls weren’t as good as usual but still some of my favorites. Then it was another 20 minutes till our food came and it was not even brought by our waitress. The food was cold(clearly our waitress left it for so long that someone else brought it). My penne a la vodka was ok but only lukewarm and had dried out on top from sitting. My dad got chicken parm which was small and the chicken was extremely thin. My moms Caesar salad was a joke. Extremely thinly sliced over cooked cold chicken on a bed of romaine. Our waitress never came to see us after taking our order until I flagged her down for a refill halfway through eating our entrée. We rushed the bill to get out of there and it was still over an hour. It is so disappointing to see what used to be my favorite place go down hill so far that I do not intend to go back. I really hope they decide to make some changes to get it back to the old Fiore’s that had great food, great rolls, and friendly and quick service.

To start the salad was fresh, house dressing a little watery but still yummy. Garlic knots were amazing! My boyfriend had the pasta e fagoli soup. He said it was really yummy just a little bland. Dinner was pasta with vodka sauce. That was amazing! Sauce was creamy. Could have used a little more flavor but still delicious. My bf had the chicken francese. Sauce was cooked perfect and not runny at all. Great prices and huge portions! Can’t wait to try the pizza!

The only pizza shop on main street. It’s also the only italian on Main St. I’ve been here a few times and I can say with conviction that its painfully average. The service on the other hand is TOPNOTCH. Want an average meal. Go here. The good news is that you will have entertaining helpful servers that distract you from the watery tasteless pasta sauce and from the box pasta.

This town’s pizza spot. Its not amazing. Its good. Eat your pizza while its hot bcz its better hot than cold. I have gone a few times now to be fair. The crust is thin and has a decent crunch. The mozz is buttery and salty. The sauce is tangy but light & simple. I’ve only had the plain. My companions/family like tomato & feta. The hot pizza rolls they serve before dinner are very yeasty & fresh. Full menu w traditional American Italian options. Caesar salad was bland & they serve it w a generic bottled dressing. Service is OK– slow & I find you have to keep asking for things bcz they don’t ask you. Beer/wine a plus. Small dining room. Private parking.
