Beach Pizza. New York Style. Huge slices. Otherwise nothing special. OOB offers nothing whatsoever that qualifies as good food, I fear. Will keep on searching, when you gotta eat lunch, you gotta eat lunch…

Pizza post race recovery, we got the margarita with fresh tomato and a pizza with sausage, black olives and mushroom. Good choice. 2 large were enough for 6 of my friends. Would go back.

Rocco’s has the best pizza in Oob. The pizza is fresh and always being made. No pizza sitting around here. The owner is great too. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Great quality.

This is a max star rating in comparison to the 3 pizza places I sampled on the same strip(others were Lisa’s and Bill’s). Rocco’s hands down has the best pizza out of the three who are all within a few feet of one another. Having tried all three at the same time, I’ll make the choice clear for you: don’t waste your time considering the other pizza options, Rocco’s was the winner on size, taste, and price.

We have been coming to OOB every summer for years and this is always one of our first stops. Rocco’s has THEBEST pizza in the area! Perfect spot on the corner in the middle of the circle by the Pier. Easy to get to and quick pick up!

Really really great pizza. NIce crust, sweet balanced sauce… and Rocco himself serving with a smile and friendly Mainer banter. Who could ask for more? Went to Frank Pepes in New Haven today… supposedly the pizza gold standard… sorry guys, can’t hold a candle to Rocco’s!!!

XL Cheese pizza was very good — perfect for a big group at lunch time. I also thought it was nice to see rocco actually working in the kitchen and all the people working there were very friendly.

Great fresh slices, a must stop in OOB. Everything I’ve has on the menu is great. I stop here at least once a year.

The best pizza at Old Orchard Beach hands down.

Good crust… lousy /odd tasting sauce. If you’re from NY just try another place. If you’re from anywhere else you probably won’t know the difference… sorry.

There are three tourist pizza joints right in the heart of OOB. This is the best of the three, though nothing special. Probably better when drunk late at night.

Living in NYC for a few years I had experienced some of the best pies out there. if you are going to call yourself a NYC pizzera expect to be rated so. We ordered the XL pepperoni pie and it was great. Excellent flavor and a nice crust. I would skip the rest of the places nearby such as Lisa’s and Bill’s and go here.

Great NY style thin crust pizza.

The people seemed nice so I’m sorry to say this, but it’s hard to imagine how they can make pizza so flavorless. The sauce was boring, the cheese was boring, and the pepperoni was boring. Go to Alex’s in Biddeford or Portland Pie in Scarborough instead.

I got to try both Lisa’s and Roccos during my stay at OOB, and if you favor traditional New York style slices, then Rocco’s is definitely the way to go. If found Lisa’s to be more dough-y and skimpy on the cheese, while Rocco’s was more like gooey, drippy cheese on a thin cardboard crust — the way NY-style pizza SHOULD be. I later found out that no one who knows their pizza actually orders the pizza at Lisa’s, only the fries. Shame on me for not doing my research ahead of time.

After a long day of barhopping this is our go to spot for pizza. Big floppy slices, zesty sauce and, I gotta be honest, a light hand on the cheese. Order the extra cheese version and get ready to scarf mindlessly until empty boxes hit the floor. Don’t forget to grab a cannolo for dessert.
