This place is awesome !! Not only do they have a great drink selection but they have food until 1AM! You cannot find that anywhere during the week. I love the place because they have games and things to do while your there hanging out with your friends.

GFB (Great F’ing Beer) is a Scottish twist on an American tavern. Great for beach season or all year round. Friendly staff, good food, full bar and a large selection of beer and ale. Free pool table. Live entertainment on band nights. Dart tournaments.
The owners went out of their way to make sure they had hot chocolate for my wife.

Friendly staff and the food is good. If you’re into craft beers and ethnic Scottish food, you’ll be happy. The wings are super big and fresh; not like the small frozen version sold at most of the over priced tourist traps in OOB.

Great band the night we went, everyone sang so that all the songs they covered could be sung perfect.
Tons of things to do: pool, ping pong, darts, hula hoop…
Fine beer selection.
Not touristy, so it was tons of fun after spending the day around OOB.

I went to GFB for the first time last night for dinner with my family. I got the chicken and rice special with beans and raisins. I added some hot sauce and the taste, texture and heat were all to my liking. We also tried the haggis and Scottish eggs. We all liked them and were all also happy to be trying something refreshingly new and traditional at the same time. The service was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. All in all a good dining experience and we will be back.
