Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! Everything is so yummy. It’s an awesome little sushi place but with the added bonus of some killer apps and the best crab Rangoon I’ve had ! Love love!

The food here is really good-tasting and well-prepared no matter how small the restaurant is. I really like the noodle and Greenwich roll.

Their katsu is pretty legit! Will have to try their ramen when I have the sit down time, hard to find anywhere in the area that serves it!

Sushi Soba is the best sushi place in Greenwich. While I am also a fan of Asiana and Kira Sushi, I can honestly say that Sushi Soba is better. I have tried a wide variety of items on their menu and have yet to be disappointed. The sushi is fresh and well made(not too much rice and not overloaded by veggies, as lesser restaurants sometimes do). The Spicy Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp rolls almost to melt in your mouth. I highly recommend them. My dad is not a sushi fan, but he LOVES the Golden Dragon roll(tempura lobster, it’s to die for). The Chinese food dishes are twists on the classic. Their Fried Rice is unlike any fried rice I’ve ever had. It’s got sliced peppers and almost a kind of sweet flavor. The Pineapple Fried Rice(I think that’s what it’s called) has a Thai twist with yellow curry flavoring and is a favorite in my house. The service is amazing. Most Chinese food places and sushi restaurants take 40 – 60 minutes to deliver. Sushi Soba always delivers in under that. The cashier/waitress is very nice and I’m not embarrassed to say we’re on a first name basis. One time on a pick up order, they forgot an item and it arrived at my house as I did. I can’t sing their praises enough.

Update– yes, we came back! We love their soup. I had vegetables and tofu with Malaysian curry soup base. Great coconut and curry flavor, very filling. My friend had beef udon soup! Try the desserts: strawberry Chianti and peach Pinot Grigio sorbet!

Great food and very friendly staff! Only downside is very little seating. But they do take out and delivery!

Just had a late dinner with my wife. Been here about 10 times this year. Great sushi. The uni and sweet shrimp were fresh and tasty. The presentation very well done. The beef chow fun is always right on. The service was excellent.

Every time we eat here, it’s delicious. The pad Thai is fresh. The sushi is delicious. I love the tuna tartare — best I’ve ever had. Solid dishes every time. I must have come in here over 20 times now. My dad doesn’t like alcohol and they had homemade alcoholic ice creams. So the woman in charge made my dad a special homemade alternative dessert. They always remember me when I walk in. Great service, delicious food. What more can you ask for!

Excellent and creative sushi. Give the chef freedom and let him create and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Also happens to have an excellent Asian chef. Best hot & sour soup ever. Drucken noodles are amazing. The Bento boxes are wonderful. The lady who owns the place couldn’t be nicer. very accomodating. A very small place with limited seating. Be sure to bring your own beer, sake or wine. You won’t be disappointed.

It has never disappointed. Wonderful staff. Just sampled the peach pino dessert. Fantastic. Rain is wonderful. I’m trying to work my way through the menu.

Ordered the dragon boat plus some additional sushi/sashimi choices and were pleased with the service, taste, and overall value — considering the high price of decent fish. They have a few tables there, but it’s more of a take-out place. Would definitely recommend and return.

Upon receiving their menu in our mailbox, my roomate and I decided to divert from our go to sushi joint and give sushi soba a shot. We could have never anticipated the grueling next two hours. To start our delivery took an hour and 45 minutes. Once an hour hit we decided to give the restaurant a call and make sure our driver was able to find our apartment. The woman on the phone seemed very frantic, and brushed my questions off blaming high volume, and pretty much hung up on me. When the food finally arrived our driver had the gall to question the tip we gave him, which considering the circumstance was more than generous. Time to eat! Not so fast, I ordered the tom yum soup which seemed harmless enough until I had a spoonful. I made the discovery when a very sharp object sliced my cheek. I pulled out of my mouth a larger than quarter sized and extremely sharp piece of thick plastic! When I called the restaurant the overwhelmed woman on the other end of the phone had only one goal and that was to get off the phone as quickly as possible. She offered me credit for my next order, which after this experience will never occur. I did ask for my money back which she complied very easily. Perhaps this is not the first instance this has occurred? Would not recommend this establishment to anyone as there are far more like able places in the vicinity. ***see photo added***

This used to be a fantastic place when it first opened as Sushi Soba. I ate there every Friday night for the past year – until last week. About six weeks ago they started a new front person who is abrasive and clearly not able to handle the stress of running both a take-out and eat-in business. If you don’t mind her screaming at both staff and customers during your meal, go right ahead. But there’s no palace to hide with only 2.5 tables and four stools. It’s a shame because the chefs are excellent and creative, and the food is delicious; I wouldn’t have eaten there so much if it weren’t! Too bad the management is letting one employee drag down what could be a thriving restaurant.

My girlfriend and I decided to try a new sushi restaurant outside of our normal go-to’s. Being one of the only available sushi places on seamless with a decent rating we decided to give it a shot. Delivery time was expected between 30 – 45 min… it took well over two hours. When we started to get concerned that something was off we gave them a call. The call was met with a women who was obviously flustered by a high volume of orders but assured us the food was on the way — so we cut her a break. An hour later we called back and upon telling her this was the second time calling she abruptly hung up on us. Sushi Soba is getting one star from us because of how poorly they handled themselves. We won’t be ordering from them again.

Dropped in around 9:30 one night after arriving in Stamford for business the next day. Showed up expecting Kiku Sushi, but it’s all good. Ordered 4 rolls as I wanted to try some weird ones, but didn’t want to go hungry if they weren’t great. Ordered the Soba Lobster Roll and Greenwich Roll as my «interesting» rolls and an Eel and Avocado Roll and Tuna Roll as a safety net. Waited while they were made, took about 15 minutes. All were tasty and delicious. Fish seemed fresh, no strange tastes or textures. They included a small portion of canned pineapple as a «dessert». Nice touch. I deducted 1 star for pricing. While it was really good sushi, the prices were much higher than what I would have expected to pay.

We arrived looking for Kiku Sushi which this establishment has replaced. The small room was empty as we arrived but two other parties dropped in during our meal. We both went for the sushi sashimi combo $ 16 at lunch, This brought miso soup salad and then the main event a small attractively composed plate with a nice tuna roll, nigiri sushi, salmon and tuna sashimi, and cones of a white fish(flounder?) wrapped around a roe. An order of pork gyoza rounded out our meal. I thought the fish was quite good less impressed with the other items.

I ordered some sushi and a Miso soup from Sushi Soba for take out. When I was eating the soup I felt something hard and very sharp in my mouth, so I spit it out. To my horror, it was a metal staple! One side of it was bent, and the other was sticking straight up. I called and spoke with the manager. He told me that it was impossible, and offered no compensation or even a genuine apology. His exact words were«so what do you want me to do!!!» I was very upset to find a metal staple in my mouth and even worse was management’s reaction. I will never order from them again! Too bad since I live right around the corner.
