Cappicola… More like Crap-picola. I got pizza from this place once before. It was the typical Attilios brand chain pizza parlor pizza that you get at all Atillios. It wasn’t terrible, but it did give me stomach issues the next morning so something wasn’t good. I decided to give Atillios one more chance today as I was looking for a close by place to grab a decent sandwich, and personally, I think wawa subs are gross(though I do love my wawa). I called and placed an order– I saw that they had a roast beef and turkey wrap, but I wanted to make it into a sub. The guy on the phone said, «It’s only in here as a wrap.» I’m assuming that his feeble mind couldn’t logically connect the dots– that because you have lunch meat and sub rolls, you can put the two together to make a sub. He had to ask someone if he could do this– the answer was yes. They told me 10 – 15 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and NOONE was in the place– it wasn’t finished when I arrived. Let me describe eating the sub– I believe the bread was made out of yoga mat material. While the lettuce, tomato, and onion were fresh, the tomatoes were cut inconsistently and one slice was about and inch and a half thick. Also WAY more oil than vinegar. I don’t think I’ll ever return to this place. VERYHAPPY that Trattoria Ravello opened a second location on Texas Road. I’m more than happy to drive the distance to get quality food.

We live very close by, and order from here at least once a week. My favorite is a vodka chicken parm dinner. Their vodka sauce is delicious. Garlic bread is pretty outstanding for a pizzeria. Make an awesome cheesesteak pizza and subs as well. Have nothing to complain about. Service is always good, delivery is usually under 30 minutes, even when estimated time is more than that. Food is always hot and fresh. This Attilios location is spot on.

Good pizza, great sandwiches/wraps, delicious wings! If you’re in the area, for sure worth stopping by and trying a few things on the menu.

Ordered a pie last night. It was really good. Can’t complain. Crust was just a little too chewy for me.

The mussels marinara is by far the BEST mussels I have ever had in my life. The garlic and fresh ingredients they use for the sauce is unreal… I’d say the rest of the food and pizza is average. I usually go just for the mussels and for the mussels alone I give 5 stars.

Pizza is expensive per slice and not up to par with others in the area for the price. My most recent visit was my last due to the terrible buffalo wings. I didn’t complain until they asked how the food was. When I told them these were the worst wings I had ever eaten, they just said oh… And didn’t offer anything else or a refund. Good luck.

The plain slice was doughy, very little tasteless sauce with a cheese that was far from the best. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was PollyO or some other commercial cheese that needed help. My smarter ½ loved the vegetable slice, & said she would go back there for that. The store and men’s room were spotless, and there are booths. Much better Pizzerias in the area, like Franks, & Brother’s. Taste may be subjective, but the plain slice was tasteless.

Ordered from Attilios 3x now. The pizza was very good. Exactly what I want on a Friday night when I want to order a quick pie! Chicken cheese steak w/peppers and onions was really good… would order again and I will! Sausage parm sub was very good as well. Pretty consistent quality! I’ll definitely frequent this place most times Im looking to order pizza/sub type food! Definitely recommend… give it a try!

Their pizza isn’t great. The crust is always too hard and over cooked. There’s never enough tomato sauce but too much cheese so the already dry crust doesn’t receive any moisture because of the lack of tomato sauce. The pizzeria is in a nice plaza and has many chairs and tables good for larger groups of people.

I will never buy pizza at this place ever again! It was doughy, not baked, and what’s worse, I think they ran out of cheese, and mixed in some goat cheese into it! Disgusting! I ended up throwing away the whole large pie because nobody would eat it. I love Attilio’s @ Freehold, and Eatontown, but this one is a shame.

Cozy spot, nice food, not the top, much more enjoyable than the chain pizzerias — good servers, very friendly :)

the pizza was very very doughy. it didn’t have that great crunch you want in the crust. it looked better than it tasted.
