My $ 8.99 lunch buffet experience was A-OK. There was a good variety of foods, including an extensive salad bar, American comfort foods, sliders, pizza, Chinese, Mexican, a carvery with ham, a grill, desserts, and a chocolate fountain with strawberries and other items for dipping. I liked the roast beef, the mashed potatoes, the grilled chicken fajita, and the blueberry pie. Everything else was okay, except the BBQ chicken seemed to be undercooked. The food temperatures were appropriate. The drink and plate removal service was cheerful, helpful, and attentive, while the dining area was clean. Not bad.

Stopped in for a late lunch and was surprised how quiet the place was. I picked chicken thighs, green bean casserole and a fresh bread roll. Very good flavor and I really liked the carrot cake. I will come back and see if supper is just as good.

I never want to eat here again. The food just doesn’t taste good. The price was high for such low quality. (I wouldn’t go back even if it were free anyway.) The interior is dated and the bathrooms need cleaning. I usually love buffets, but stay way from this one.

After leaving this place i felt robbed $ 16 and not one thing i ate tasted even close to good. They must have a giant microwave they stick everything in. Plud all the little kids running around everywhere touching the food.

Okay so yes I realize I’m reviewing Golden Corral, a restaurant that is basically ayce cafeteria food. But you know what? Sometimes I just want to stuff myself silly on mediocre food at a reasonable price. I used to do this at Hometown Buffet back home. Tried Ryan’s here a couple times, not impressed. But that’s a whole other review in itself. Went to the GC near Zona Rosa and it’s always busy, too loud, buffet line is a mess, screaming children. Just… no. Found this location and decided to give it a shot. Staff has been friendly and attentive. Location has been clean each visit. It’s not crazy busy like the Zona Rosa location, but it is busy enough to keep the food fresh. You can actually find parking here! Overall, I recommend if you’re looking for a cheap, affordable fill-up.
