Great food. Friendly staff. Excellent prices. Unfortunately, since they changed to only lunch time hours, me and my entire family are unable to eat there. We used to eat there once a week. :-(If you can get there during their small window of opportunity, you won’t be disappointed.

Love the food here. Great little mom and pop soul food. They have a variety of food to choose from with daily specials. The prices are great as well. The only thing I wish were different was the waitstaff refilling drinks instead of doing it yourself. Definitely worth the stop.

There is not a dish I have tried that I didn’t like!!! So yummy. The staff is so friendly!!! Great food, great portions and reasonable prices. Even my picky husband liked it. He raves about the meatloaf. I am not a big catfish lover, but I love theirs. I would highly recommend.

I drove from Midland to try this restaurant I was not disappointed I have to oxtails macaroni and cheese and cabbage cocktails with very tender macaroni and cheese really creamy the cabbage was a little over cooked but it was okay I would recommend this restaurant it’s good to get some soul food on a Monday when all the other restaurants this cell so food or clothes keep up the good work

The food is amazing here. It is home cooking with dishes like meatloaf, bbq, fried catfish, and homemade veggies like black eyed peas, okra, greens, etc. Portions are big and friendly people.

Lunch is amazing, home cooked food. Breakfast was great when they had it. They recently changed to just lunch and supper buffet. Defiantly one of my favorite places for lunch ! Great food, friendly staff and large portions.

The breakfast hours are posted on the door 6:30am-10:30am. We walked into the restraunt and there was no one to greet us which was very awkward and uncomfortable. After about 1 or 2 minutes we were graciously greeted and seated very quickly. We received our drinks promptly and the waitress was kind and friendly. Our table was checked on frequently but my drink was never refilled and the waitress did not let us know where or if we were supposed to refill them ourselves. The food was decent and cooked nicely. We had eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, potatoes and a pancake in our order. The prices were good for the quality and amount of food. I loved the breakfast menu, there were just the right amount of options and it didn’t overwhelm me with pages and pages of ridiculous concoctions. Overall a great experience.
