I had no idea how nice this restaurant was! The food was delish, and so were the drinks! We had queso, chips & salsa(YUM) and I ate the flautas. The guacamole was a little too hot for me, but I have to give this place lots of credit for their authenticity! It was very affordable! We will definitely come back, when we are in the mood for a nice dining experience. :-)

So We walked in without knowing what we were getting into. The décor is elegant and laid back. There is not much like it in Odessa. And soon they will have a lounge open. Our server was on task and on point. She was super nice and made us feel welcome. We never had any problems with her. I even timed how long our food took to get out(mind you I have never done that before), we got served in under ten minutes. Though as we waited we were served our drinks, chips, and salsa. The chips were thin, crisp, and some of the better chip in town. The queso was also thick and stringy like melted cheese, not runny like others. With our food delivered to us we tucked in, my friend had quesadillas while I had green chicken enchiladas. The enchiladas were great along with the rice and beans. They have more of a Mexican American style to their foods, but it is all carefully made. After our lunch we ordered tres lechea, which was great and some of the best I’ve had. My only complaint was the strawberries on it looked a bit shriveled but still edible.

Visited for my second time and must say their Margarita Monday for $ 1 each hits the spot for happy hour! Their margaritas are the perfect blend of tequila, margarita and rocks for a buck, add a chicken flauta entrée paired with rice and refried beans which were perfect not too dry or soggy, plus check in and get a free mojito with an entrée purchase! Overall an excellent way to end a Monday with friends, until next time Mojitos. P. S. Happy Hour gets you more for your money, drinks and entrees are pretty pricey however great quality of Mexican food and I speak for the Flautas, Cerveche, rice and beans.

Awesome! Great enchiladas and as the name suggests, an AMAZING mojito. The grapefruit basil one is incredible. My new favorite breakfast drink. Update: Came back again and tried new dishes. Just as good and the mojito is better than I remembered.

Drinks are touted as wonderful. To say the least they were the worst margaritas ever. Service was bad. Had to ask if salsa was extra to find out they just forgot to bring us chips and salsa. Husband ordered top shelf margarita and tasted like watered down orange juice. After posting on their Facebook and then saying they wanted our criticism so they could learn from it they deleted the entire post. Never be back. I swear they water down the liquor.

First time here and it was the last time. Heard the drinks were great but no so much the food so I tried it anyways despite reviews. I should have known better. Service was not great, had to ask for utensils, napkins, extra plates when we ordered multiple appetizers for the group I was with. Drinks were okay, nothing special and food was good… I thought. Nothing spectacular but most everyone else I was with said they didn’t like it. One of my friends’ got the taquitos and said they were so gross, she didn’t finish them. I got the green chile enchiladas and another friend got fish tacos. OMG we had the RUNSALLNEXTDAY. ITWASSOHORRIBLE. We literally hung out again and took turns going in and out of the bathroom. NEVERAGAIN… EVER!!!

Positives… nice atmosphere. Negatives…we have been here an hour. Me round of drinks. One basket of chips. Reordered drinks and chips. 30 min later still no drinks and chips. Food came. Every order was wrong. Told it will be 30 more min. Still no drinks or chips. The restaurant isn’t busy by the way at all.

I am Giving this place one star more than it deserves. They didn’t have lemons for teas and they didn’t have dinner napkins. Do these owners not know they have stores and a SAMs literally less than s friggin mile away! Why wouldn’t they go get the things that a restaurant needs to operate efficiently. This is my second try at this spot and I frequently eat out. They seem to run a restaurant serving $ 20 Mexican plates like a taco stand. Makes no sense. Either be a upscale restaurant or a taco stand. Nice décor doesn’t make up for the crappy experience.

Was in from out of town. Was hoping for a great Mexican meal before heading back out. Unfortunately this didn’t happen. Service was just mediocre. Food was below mediocre. Steak quesadilla — steak was not tender in the least. Grayish color-vegetables in the quesadilla raw. Also didn’t get the sides the menu indicated. When mentioned to server, it was stated we were wrong. No napkins — we were offered cocktail napkins. Did the washer and dryer break? Overall bad experience. Won’t be back.

I came in on 12/26/2015 around 8:45pm, my experience here was outstanding, I’ve read the bad reviews, but took a chance on the place, and was pleasantly surprised, they offer a FREE Mojito when you check-in on Unilocal, that in itself is a $ 10 value. I’m from out of town and a old childhood friend of mine suggested this restaurant, the place is really nice, I didn’t expect the restaurant to be as classy as it was, very nice modern décor. Our Server Sarah went above and beyond, she was awesome, we had went to a few other bars to grab a drink before we had dinner and Sarah was just pleasant to conversate with and took time to help us order. I ordered the Chicken Enchilada plate, they came with 4 big enchiladas, I ordered two with red sauce and two with green sauce, they were served with Mexican rice and your choice of Re-fried or Charro beans, I opted for the Charro, the food was delicious the sauces on the Enchiladas tasted homemade, the red sauce had a nice smokiness to it from the roasted chilies. The Mojitos here are outstanding they have 4 – 5 different variations, I ordered the Watermelon Coconut Mojito, but the strawberry and grapefruit Mojitos are outstanding as well. All in All, my experience here was awesome, food was delicious, Mojitos were awesome, ambiance is nice and the staff are friendly, I will definitely be back when I come back to Odessa. Disregard the bad reviews, whatever issues they had before, they are making great strides to turn things around.

I had the green chicken enchiladas, they where pretty dope. Would eat again. Also the chips in the chips n salsa where really good :) The mojito was also good, I had the grapefruit flavor as recommended by the wait staff. The waitress we had was a sweet heart. My friend spilt his drink and they gave him a free refill :)

My opinion, Advertising on Social media and adds with fantastic delicious drinks and great Mexican food. Not what we got. Finally made our late lunch date about 2pm. Slow traffic, nice place, quite, good music, our server was very prompt, friendly! Sad part my draft beer had a red salsa crumb floating. Food was not hot!

There’s a lot of bad reviews from a couple of months ago so they must’ve worked on whatever needed fixing. I was hesitant to try, but I was in the area so I gave it a shot. The waiter was really friendly! I tried 2 different types of mojitos and both were really good, there’s a double shot in each. The appetizers and food came out fast and I enjoyed everything I ordered. My friend(who’s half Mexican lol) said the rice wasn’t very authentic though. It tasted fine to me. I’ll come back if I visit the area again :)

Very disappointing. We decided to go in and try the food, despite the warnings from reviews and friends. We had been there for happy hour and had drinks and apps, and it was fine. Today we went in and had lunch. Everything that seems to come out the kitchen is luke warm. Everything is wrapped in foil, making it appear premade. Not to mention the $ 60 tab that was attached to a Sunday Mexican food lunch for two!(We ordered off the kids menu) $ 4 for a side of re fried beans!!! The server we had was amazing, so I will disagree with the other reviews about service. We had him at happy hour a few weeks ago, and he is very attentive. I really hope this place gets it together. People in the area are not talking well of this spot. Take the criticism and use it for something good. It would be nice to be able to experience a GOODANDNEW dining experience in Odessa.

Simply awful and lacks consistency. Our fajitas came out five minutes after ordering. These«fajitas» we’re not on a sizzling smoking platter as you would expect but instead Luke warm. To top it off we got to sit there and stare at them for another five minutes because our waitress forgot the tortillas. The chips were stale and for some unknown reason there were cherries in our margaritas… It was as if I was in an episode of bar rescue. After expressing our disappointment to our waitress another male employee came to our table and asked«is everything okay?» We asked if he was a manager and his response was«well, no. But I deeply care about this place» my response«well if you’re not a manager then our waitress can relay our disappointment to you.» He then said«well I hope you guys can find a good place to take care of you.» This place is a joke and will most likely be out of business within a year. Do yourself a favor and just don’t go. It’s unfortunate I have to give it «one» star just to leave a review. UPDATE: Someone(not sure if owner or management) responded to my review of Mojitos 16 days after my visit. I do appreciate her apologizing for my horrible experience however, why did it take 16 days? It seems to me as if this place needs a complete overhaul on their staff. If a manager/owner reads this update and at some point finds themselves in the DFW area, I suggest they visit a place called Mi Dia from Scratch in Grapevine TX And please, while you are there… Take lots of notes. It is the same concept Mojitos advertises but end the end ultimately butchers.

This place really wants to be a high-end trendy Mexican food place. They missed the mark. The décor is odd. It’s more warehouse-like even though it’s a small space. We dined at a non-rush hour on a Sunday afternoon, so we were seated immediately as there were only about 4 or 5 tables occupied. However, if you have time to read the entire menu, decide what you want to eat, and still have time to watch and wonder which of the 5 employees who is leaning on the bar, staring at his or her phone is going to be your waiter/waitress BEFORE you are ever offered a drink or chips and salsa, your customer service is not on point. The food was average, but it did come out quickly after the order was placed. Don’t expect to find regular tacos or enchiladas and anything that you’d find in an authentic OR a Tex-Mex restaurant. They’re going for something unique or trendy or something, but I’m not sure what. In short, from looking at the menu, I’m assuming this might make a good happy-hour place as there is a decent cocktail menu and good happy hour specials(M-F 3 – 7). But neither the food, the ambiance, nor the service will be enough to bring me back.
