This place got my whole family sick we are all having stomach issues(diarrhea) from their beans and rice. I’m not trying to be mean. We all thought the food was good but the next day we all had major gastrointestinal issue with bloating. Also the lady that took our order was not very friendly and kept letting this older woman interrupt while we we trying to order. This was our first and last time at this place.

So many Mexican restaurants around here use that gross brown sauce on their red enchiladas(Rosas I’m looking at you) so when I come across one that serves REAL red enchiladas I am elated. This place is good, fast, and authentic. I get the combo plate and I end up full and happy and there’s still good left over on my plate. The only reason I’m deducting one star is because every time I come the food is never piping hot, which leads me to believe maybe some of the items are made ahead of time. However, it’s still good and I’ll keep coming here!

Really good– Handmade tortillas! My husband is really picky & he liked it. Cute dining area– yeah the forks are plastic & the drinks are in cans, but the food is really good. I actually like the plastic, it means I get a clean utensil everytime.

Dont be fooled by the lack of overhead expenses, fancy silverware or their own shiny soda machine. this place does mexican food and does it WELL! instead of making u think they are nice by paying out the ears for stupid superficial changes they focused on the food. You can either pay 3 dollars a burrito at roses and come home with a sad tiny wrap of dirty tasting charred crap of only 3 little peices or you can go here and get a MUCH bigger burrito(think twice the size) that is ALWAYS delicious and only costs 2 something. For my money this is the best fajita place in odessa and if you are wasting your money at roses instead, shame on you for rewarding subpar food that is overpriced. When you have authentic mexican dont expect all the bells and whistles u get from a chain. instead embrace the lack of wasted money and rejoice in the fact that all that money instead goes into lovingly crafting(and i DO mean crafting, what these people do here is nothing short of an art form) their food. Even the dollar something taco is gargauntuan and very tasty and between 1 taco and 1 burrito i was stuffed(i am not a tiny guy) So forgive me for laughing at all the fakes who go and eat at roses, thinking its the best thing since sliced bread. Meanwhile me and all the true foodies venture into the unknown and shady for the best damn fajitas in odessa. They are consistently swamped during breakfast and lunch times because all the locals know whatsup, so plan accordingly if your in a hurry. Do yourself a favor, swallow ur ignorance and step inside a place where food is the most important thing, not looks. Trust me ull thank me after.

Worst place I have ever ate at: service was bad, canned sodas, plastic forks, re-refried beans, frozen taqitos, wilted lettuce, cold enchilada sauce, rice looked like it should have been thrown out a few days ago! Took a few bites from taqito and chile relleno, man I hope I don’t get sick!!!
