It is located in a pretty good location, my friend and I stopped by after mid night, food was ready in 5 minutes the store seemed like has less selection then other Royal farms I have ever visited, When I wanted to pull out I saw 4 police cars there! Polices are always nosy and buggy and dont want to be around unless I call them for help!

This is my favorite Royal farms. They have a red box outdoors. Two atm machines indoors and the chicken is awesome! So crunchy and i love the potato wedges and the dinner rolls. The chicken and potatoe wedges remind me of back in the day when there was a Holly Farms chicken when I was growing up. Omg they had the best chicken. This is a great stop to get your gas and stop indoors for a snack or that tasty chicken. If you haven’t already tried them please do so. My only problem is that i tend to like the white meat on the chicken and the breast meat always tend to be a little on the dry side. But besides that i will continue to get my fried chicken here. Especially when I’m hungry and in a hurry.

Ordered chicken and wedges. The chicken was non greasy and delicious they must brine the chicken before pressure cooking because all the pieces we tried were consistently tender. The wedges were fantastic freshly hand cut and nicely seasoned. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food.

This store is in an excellent location; however, customer service from employees is abysmal. The clerk was beyond immature and somewhat racist. I will not patronage this store based on how I was treated by its employees. Such a pity.

It’s kinda small but Royal Farms offers to sell us our small, daily needs. Would there be future expansion to this location?

Royal Farms has upgraded this strip of Rt 175. I love their stone structures and even the blue green color theme. I’ve always heard that I HAVE to get their potato wedges but just haven’t fallen for the crazy Royal Farmers raves yet. I have ordered their toasted turkey sandwich on wheat sandwich bread for lunch and it was delicious! Totally worth the $ 4.85 or whatever I paid for it. I even ate it two hours after it was made. The breakfast toasted sandwiches are also good except I ordered an egg, ham and cheese on wheat bread… on the computer mind you, so I clearly remember the pictures. I was disappointed when I got to work to find a ham and cheese sandwich. Where’s my egg! Still good but who orders a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast? And it wasn’t busy at the time. I was the only one with an order in at the time. I wasn’t about to not eat breakfast, drive all the way back over there and show them. And who would’ve believed me if I had walked back in there and said«you didn’t give me egg in my sandwich that I ate. I need another one.» Uh huh… sure. Lessoned learned, check your sandwich before you walk out. On the plus side, they have the best coffee creamer station around with tons of International Delight flavors. What’s missing is a car wash. And more food. I think they could fit more in the store.

Made to order food is horrible. First they messed up a simple breakfast sandwich that I ordered through the computer, which specified no meat. The sandwich had sausage on it and when I brought it back up to the counter, all they did was take off the sausage and hand it back to me without An apology for messing it up the first time. I understand making mistakes, but dont make me feel back because you made the mistake. I had to tell them I was allergic for them to make me a new one. Very rude workers at the café counter!

I love this gas station and I’m so happy that they built one down the street from me. Most of the businesses along 175 are pretty ghetto looking so it’s great to have something that looks nice finally. There is a red box which makes it easy to find movies that are cheap and it is open 24 hours so you can always stop for a late night bite to eat. The fried chicken always smells delicious but I haven’t tried any yet. I have gotten great breakfast sandwiches from here though as well as late night dinner options. There is even a nice outdoor patio to sit and eat if you want to stop for food and not take it to go.

I hear this is a good place to get gas but I never stopped by for that(I get it at a certain awesome establishment that I can’t mention at the moment), but I have stopped here for lottery tickets. If you like a good lottery ticket, stop by here, they have EVERYTHING!!! not only your basic state and megamillion tickets but there’s also a huge vending machine full of scratch offs… and who doesn’t like the chips left over from scratching these cards off? If you need a gambling fix before the big casino opens up in the area, you should stop by here… or any other gas station really… They also have tons of snacks, but I never bought any of those either… or their magazines… and now you know why I go to gambler’s annonymous. PS:You don’t have to buy a thing to use their restrooms(they were pretty clean the one time I used them). PS:PS: Yes, I would go back to this establishment, yes I would.

It’s all about the chicken. Growing up in Massholia, I never once experienced home-cooked fried chicken, nor was there a KFC in my little hometown. I never tasted the stuff until I got into college, and I just couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about. Then I moved to Maryland and hooked up with a local guy who made me «Maryland Double-Fried Chicken», and I saw the light. He didn’t fry it twice, but battered it twice, and cooked it in a cast iron skillet, which I think is somehow essential. I haven’t had home-made fried chicken since I broke up with him a few years ago, and my cravings for it have made me doubt the wisdom of that particular decision.(Miss you, L!) But then this past year, a colleague mentioned that the Royal Farms gas station chain has the best fried chicken around. I was dubious, but had to try it. She was right! You go inside the store and order off of a touch screen. Since the stuff is popular, it is served up fast and fresh. They claim to never use frozen birds, and to do everything in-house, and based upon the results, I believe it. Since you are probably going to be eating in your car, I’d go for the drumsticks because they are the easiest to eat in such a situation, and are probably the most economical to boot. Chicken is served 10 to 10 daily. There is a selection of packaged dipping sauces available for free. I haven’t actually tried out this location, just posting here because it was already set up, but I would guess that each gas station is more or less the same. Their website has a location search engine, but it is useless because it only tells you that no, there is not a Royal Farms in your town. However, if you google it, you can find the various locations. Not all of them have the chicken, but if you look up a certain location in their search engine, it will indicate if chicken is available or not. If any Unilocalers out there know how to make Maryland Double-Fried Chicken, and want to save my soul, bless you and please contact me!

Today I skipped my daily routine of stopping by Starbucks at Shipley’s Grant in Ellicott City where they know me as «Vente Bold with room for cream» so I could try out the new Royal Farms in the Odenton Town Center at Blue Water Blvd. and Rt 175. Although it was their first day open to the public they had their act together. Although they still had a couple of contractors giving the finishing touches to this modern convenience marvel(styling outdoor patio and all), they had several very friendly and energetic employees manning all stations with great pride. This new state of the art Royal Farms is ready to satisfy Odenton’s hunger for real food, served real fast. Their kitchens are busy ’round the clock’ cooking up tasty meals, hand-prepared right on the premises, following their own special recipes and using only quality ingredients. So whether it’s a Royal Sun Up in the morning or Royal Chicken to Go at night, you can be assured that what you get is always good to go. Although it was not Starbucks I was very impressed by all their different blends of coffee, their excessive coffee accessory bar, and the freshly brewed pots of coffee that were ready to go. Later in the afternoon I returned to Royal Farms to get some much needed gas($ 2.54/gal) and a drink from their massive selection of cold drinks. Although we were experiencing severe thunderstorms with flash floods in the area I was surprised that almost every parking space was taken.
