Adorable shop in a cute small town. There are Great choices and wonderful popcorn. The atmosphere is great. However the proprietor is extremely rude. I entered the shop two days in a Row with five kids one evening and six the following. I would assume that a small town shop would be happy to have customers on a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Instead we were not acknowledged when we walked in. The owner watched the kids and seemed annoyed that they were there checking everything out. Not impressed with customer service. Will not be rushing back upon my frequent trips to our lake house in this community.

Sweet Dreams is a wonderful little candy shop in downtown Oconomowoc. They’ve been at this location for quite a few years but we first went to visit a few weeks ago, while we were in town for Chili Fest.
If anyone can remember MaryAnne’s house (by Little Vittles) it’s similar in terms of candy selection. She offers a lot of the harder to find, «old school» candy I remember growing up. She also offers candy in bulk. I bought a ¼ lb of chocolate covered coffee beans. They were great, and not that pricey.
We talked with the owner for quite a bit. She’s super sweet, very personable, and easy to talk with. I’m glad there’s a place like this in Oconomowoc again.

This is a great little candy shop to take the kids when you’re bumming around downtown Oconomowoc. By far the best candy shop in Oconomowoc.

It’s an old fashioned candy shop, featuring bulk candies, packaged candy, gourmet chocolates (the fancy stuff!) as well as gift baskets, sugar-​free candy, wedding and party favors and much more. The owners are friendly and it’s just got a «feel good» vibe to it.
