Been visiting since its grand opening, saves me a trip across town. Happy after so many years to still see it here. What’s interesting is I visited a Radio Shack in Hong Kong last year…
Anywise, smaller location means limited options but awesome costumer service.

It seems that Radio Shack is constantly reinventing itself more than any other store. I approve of its current incarnation and I think that this store is a good representative.
The staff is always helpful and informative. If they don’t know the answer, they will doggedly go out of their way to find it.
The merchandise is well organized and varied. It includes things that have been in Radio Shacks for as long as long as I can remember — such as specialized electronic parts — as well as cool modern day gadgets. And batteries. Lots and lots of batteries.

I think that each Radio Shack has its own personality based on the owner and this one, I like. The owner, although he’s not always there, is very knowledgeable about electricity and electronics and the staff usually seems competent and helpful. When the owner is there, it rates an easy 5 stars. When he isn’t there, it’s a 4… sometimes a 3. And it has the typical Radio Shack paraphernalia that you can’t get anywhere else.
