Beer and wine only, no full bar. Local crowd, not something you’d normally stumble into as this is nowhere near the main Oceanside«strip» on the 101/Coast Highway where you find Beer Brewing Company, Bagby, LTH, Stone tasting room, etc. Unenforced street parking. Tap list included Saint Archer, Port Brewing Mongo, Prohibition, Rough Draft, Ballast Point, Alesmith, and more. Pretty impressive.

No liquor. Beer only. Out of corona… few pool tables and even shuffleboard. 6 dollar beer though. Nice enough but 6 dollars for an import. Asylum triple brewed delicious and 12.5 percent

This is a great bar. We went there last Thursday for free live music played by a couple of local reggae bands. It was a good time. They have pool, shuffleboard, and best of all, 52 different beers on tap. The bartenders/servers were nice, the vibe was mellow, local, and friendly. We will definitely be back soon.

Cool little local bar. Service was great. Plenty of local craft beers. 2 pool tables. Shuffleboard. TV screens. Not expensive.

52 taps puts this spot on the map as the most draft variety Oceanside has to offer. Shuffle board, pool tables, live music and karaōke are a roulette of weekly attractions. Couldn’t ask for a more friendly neighborhood watering hole. Cheers!

Dani P’s is the best bar in Oceanside! Well, at least that I’ve been to. I stumbled across this bar when I had moved to Vista to take a job. At the time my fiancée was still home in Wisconsin packing our stuff. The thing was that all of my Milwaukee Brewer season tickets were wrapped into 1 day so that my fiancée and her friends and family could have a going away party for her. I had come to Dani P’s to watch that Brewer game to see if my peeps were on TV. Dani P had let me put the game on and was nice as it gets. Actually if I remember right it was her mom that I met that day. Eventually this was my Fiancée and my go-to bar in Oceanside. We love the place and will visit every time we’re back in Oceanside. It was not far from Vista, and had the best craft beer selection and prices in the area hands-down. We loved watching football games and hang out with friends and play shuffleboard here. Great atmosphere, outstanding beer and wine selection, and superb service with a smile! We miss you Dani P! See you soon. Tyler & Cori, Madison, WI

This is one of my new favorite places. Just the type of small bar I like — good people, good drinks, never too raucous, plus bar games like pool and shuffleboard. Makes me wish I lived closer, although it probably wouldn’t bode well for my wallet or my liver.

Do you like the overwhelming stench of mold? If so, the is the place for you! This place is disgusting and has an incredibly inattentive staff. If it weren’t for their decent beer selection I would have rated them one star.

This is a cool local bar. There was a band here the other night I really enjoyed they always have nice bartenders and pool and it’s great for a Sunday night mellow or after work. Location is pretty decently close to the sprinter station as well

Visited on 10/16/2014 to catch some Thursday night football and Cardinals/Giants game. Clean, well kept place and was greeted upon getting to the bar area. Plenty of tvs to watch any sports even. The ambiance has a dive bar feel to it but very welcoming to first timers like myself. Doors were open and the cool breeze kept the place nice and comfortable. They mentioned they always have 2 select draft beers for $ 3 which isn’t bad at all. All other beers are around $ 5-$ 7 depending on what you’re looking for. The only food on site is a 12″ frozen pizza. About $ 2 – $ 3 at a grocery store but here they’re $ 9 which, if you’re really really hungry it doesn’t seem so bad. What is cool is they DO allow you to bring in outside food. Bring your own meals or walk next door to pick up some Taco Bell or Weinerschnitzel. They have a great selection of local craft brew & domestic beers as well like budweiser & bud light. I also noticed they have a wide variety of wines there if you’re a wine drinker. COMETHIRSTY! Overall, its a nice spot to come watch a game at and unwind a bit. Welcoming, great drink selection for beer and wine drinkers alike. Will definitely be coming back soon. :)

I really have no idea what’s with the cork and tap, that’s like when your parents say you full name when their mad at you. It’s simply Dani P’s or just DP’s. The old GreenBriar, the old Hooligans. It’s still very much the same. Same set up, still the cheep beers, pool tables(refelted and bumpered of course), but the fact that they now carry a few dozen of San Diego’s famed craft beers is simply amazing. They still keep the military memorabilia, but have done away with the over the top Boston garb. All in all it’s much nicer. More pub than dive bar, more craft than sports bar and finally not a Boston bar. ATM inside, 3 pool tables and skeet ball as well. The lighting is better, not that old dingy style they used to have, though not quite sports bar esque. It’s still in the hood, average 1 cop car will pass by an hour and a dozen people will be walking form the local Bodega home. It’s a mixed bag of the usual locals, the drunks stumbling in off the street, but they have food, like pizza and veggies and a modern tap system. Whoa. The pizza is not half bad for when you just don’t want to walk across the street to Taco Bell. Juke box, tiny tiny non tabled area for live performances and dancing and freaking security believe it or not. It could still use a good clean every once in a while, but it’s one of those places that can also be intimidating. If anything be intimidated by the places that haven’t changed in a decade… case in point my old stomping grounds OMTI. I went there for the better part of a decade every Friday and it’s still the same. Interesting story is that before Unilocal I was using foursquare and before Hooligans had an account I used to get some nice laughs from people wondering why I’m checking into the Womans shelter next door. SMH good old ghetto Oceanside.

For a dive bar, I truly enjoyed my experience here even though I came on a night they had some bands playing I didnt really enjoy. I was here last night and the place was packed and their was some bouncers around the room which in most places always have a front, or watch you creepily(Cabo Grill is good at that) but here at Dani P’s the bouncers are sincere and actually enjoy chillin with the people that show up there. I got to meet the owner of this bar and she was very friendly and I enjoyed my time being there. I had to charge my phone and the bartender gladly placed my charger behind the bar so i wouldnt have to leave my spot:) Im a big fan of dive bars and this by far, with pool table and juke boxes and great customer service… I will continue to come here and tell everyone about this hidden new secret!:)
