Corner Delicatessen

Great service and good food. They have a lot of different specialty sandwich choices that come with a water bottle or pickle which was great. I recommend the New York Met hero it was really good and you can also get egg sandwiches in any way you like here. Started going to this deli just recently but I’ll definitely keep going here more often.

Terrible service. we’ve given these guys a lot of second chances, we’ve tried to order delivery on a lot of occasions on a Sunday. One Sunday I called to ask if they deliver, the owner who picked up wasn’t sure, yes you read right, he «wasn’t sure if they were delivering», so he offered to call us back in 5 minutes, fast forward 20 minutes later and still no phone call. I called back to ask what was going on and the lady told me I would just be put on hold for a second so she could get the boss, not only did they leave the line open so that I could hear their conversation which they made it abundantly clear that he was in no mood to deliver, but this went on for 5 minutes because they forgot I was on hold, I had to hang up and call back only for her to tell me to hold again to which I replied no thanks and hung up. Fast forward to next Sunday and the same thing, «we’ll call you back» with no callback!!! 2 Sundays later we tried again only to be hung up on as soon as they answered with no attempt to call back in order not to lose their customer (that being me), but when we called back to say we just got hung up on, they put us on hold for 10 minutes!!! Listen if your busy, I get it, but don’t advertise that you deliver if you CLEARLY CANNOT HANDLE IT. Farmer Joels across the street is MASSIVE and dwarfs this little place. They do not offer delivery but at least its worth the trip there. Corner deli just makes themselves look bad and can lose a lot of business bc delivery is all they had going for them that Farmer Joels does not offer. Your food is not THAT GOOD, and is certainly not better than the 2 deli’s in competition with you less than 500 ft away. I don’t normally write Unilocal reviews unless something is really that good, or really that horrible. This place needs to get their stuff together b/​c we are not the only people with the same complaint about their HORRIBLE delivery service or should I say «lack thereof». I guess customer service is dying in this country.

Been coming here since elementary school. Always loved their sandwiches and breakfasts!

Wish I can say I know what the food tastes like. We ordered at 930am and were still waiting for our food at 11 am. When we called to check on the status of our food I got a very vague «uh it’ll be there in like 15 minutes». Such poor service. Too bad by the time they even could deliver we had to leave. Terrible.

Being a local student, I eat here for breakfast occasionally. Mostly before a big tests like finals or the SAT, I always get an egg sandwich. Throughout my egg sandwich eating experiences, none have compared to «corner». I prefer my eggs over medium which takes some skill to cook properly and every time they come out perfect. Sometimes I like to throw in homefries when I’m feeling extra hungry, for a few extra cents. I have never been disappointed with my food here and I doubt I ever will. I have tried many other local stores to see who has the best egg sandwiches. I have concluded that Corner Deli is by far the best and probably the cheapest as well. 5 stars all day

the gentleman that worked there are helpful and courteous… when it was time to pay they didn’t rip their selves off but they didn’t rip me off either!!!
