They deliver! Other than pizza no one delivers. This place is a big hit. normally I order the salt and pepper tofu and the pineapple curry sausage fried rice; hits the spot every time. I’ve also had the Mongolian beef and the pork chow fun, equally as satisfying.

Driving by and saw the sign, I parked on the street because there’s no parking dedicated to the eatery. I walk and in and am surprised that place looks nothing Chinese in nature. It’s a more rustic eclectic bar type feeling and atmosphere with a menu of Asian foods. I ordered the hot and sour soup and it came out piping hot. It looked great with friend wonton over it. It tasted amazing. The sweet and sour ribs did it for me. I never tasted anything quite like it. It was sticky goodness with just the right amount of sweetness. The wings were also so tasty and perfect! The portions were big so I couldn’t really order more food by myself. I’m sure if I did, the other dishes would be just as good. The service was exceptional and the owner took the time to speak with me. My server was very professional and made me feel comfortable. Although I feel the price points could be higher based on the excellent quality of the food, I’m sure the owner knows his business well. Overall, this is a must try for all you foodies! My experience here was pleasant and very enjoyable!

Service: We left the restaurant abruptly after being seated for 20 mins because we were rushed out by the owner. The server was very apologetic and seemed uncomfortable with the treatment. We were having a family dinner, had to box everything mid meal and finish it at home. It’s absurd and rude since we were sitting there 30 min before closing. According to her, the owner was in a «bad mood» and wanted the restaurant to close early. The owner is a fucking coward and couldn’t tell us personally. It was a slow day apparently. I wonder why when this the type of treatment their guests receive. Atmosphere: We were sitting on the patio. Not only was the treatment awful, two«unsavory characters» we’re roaming around the patio between hilltop café and this embarrassing establishment. One of the men sat behind us and was obviously on controlled/illegal substances and was scratching his incision area profusely. The other one was spouting out cuss words. Neither the hilltop café nor bullshitbard staff came out to ask one of the men to please settle. One of them was«shooting up» in the bathroom and coming out to sit right next to us. Food: Food was good quality but nothing special compared to Asian food in the San Gabriel Valley(Mecca of Asian food). We are definitely never coming back to this establishment. Whoever sold the building(formerly fish joint) to this new owner did not make a wise decision. This is not a customer friendly nor safe establishment.

Stopped in for some Chinese food. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken bites, chicken chow fun and vegetable rolls which were all very delicious. We used the 20% off Unilocal coupon. Definitely will be back again.

I’ve eaten here twice and wasn’t into it either time. A lot of the chicken is dark meat and I’ve had better Chinese food. Some of my friends like it a lot, but I don’t care for this place.

Great food really, but so so bad service experience. Waitres forgot about us, said that we got 20%( Unilocal check in), then forgot to make it.

BLVD Chinese restaurant can be found on the 101 in Oceanside, where the Fish Joint used to be. Prices are affordable and plates are stacked high. Not to be limited to Chinese cuisine, BLVD also has American and Mexican infused items, so it’s perfect for picky eaters or bringing the kids. There is enough space for large groups too. Check out the tempura mushrooms and tempura veggies for starters. The orange chicken was just as it should be — shareable size! Not traditional Chinese, but a good option for big groups, team gatherings and catering parties.

In the mood for some fresh Chinese food and this place showed up within walking distance. Convenient and cool environment… And they had an IPA on tap. Great start. Server was quick, friendly and pleasant. He got me my beer and a menu right away. I started with an appetizer of hot and sour soup. $ 3 and very good. The menu is extremely simple and I ordered the beef and broccoli… It was served fresh from the wok hot on a cool(interesting)plate with a side of rice(with seeds — heads up if you don’t like seeds) a plus for presentation … Again the servers here were all friendly and on it. The only criticism would be that the sauce on the beef and broccoli was a tad bit greasy vs saucy. Certainly the fresh food and service wasnt worth taking off a full star. Im glad I found this place … If you are craving really good chinese food and you’re nearby … Absolutely check them out … With enough notice I will meet you for a beer …

FYI, the«20% Off First Time Order» coupon is only credited with dine-in. This really should be clarified on Unilocal and for customers before they order to-go, and the staff should be trained to be transparent about the policy and provide this information when taking to-go orders. I had solely ordered here, because the pictures looked good and there was a coupon. My online order had noted that I was using the coupon. I didn’t receive a confirmation email, so I called the restaurant to confirm my order — the girl really should have said something about the coupon not being valid. If I had known, I would have canceled my order and gone to Teri Café. Not that it’s the restaurant’s fault, but I didn’t realize the this place is on the waaay other side of Oceanside( Unilocal search said it was ~4 miles from my house, psych!!). So all-in-all, $ 40.50+tip and a 40-minute drive(20-minutes one-way) for mediocre Chinese-American food really wasn’t worth it. For the $ 40.50 meal itself, some parts were not palatable at all and some parts were okay, however, I don’t think I’ll get a foodborne illness. Sooo, they get… bum-bada-dum, a whole 2 stars! Somehow, I’ll figure out how to post a photo of this meal. On Thursday, 3.10.16 at approximately 6pm, I ordered: — Low mein with shrimp: not bad, average, a bit too saucy for my taste; shrimp was well-cooked, not chewy. — Orange chicken: best part of the meal, standard, good ‘olé reliable. — Fried calamari: the batter was actually still crunchy when I got home and was seasoned well. However, some parts of the actual meat were very tough with a stringy film(especially the head part) but other parts were tender and well-cooked. — Balsamic Brussels sprouts: worst part of the meal, burned to a pulp with an occasional peek of overdone, sulfurous, murky green. It was as if the cook was thinking, «balsamic is brown-colored, so let’s just say just say it’s supposed to be that brown due the the balsamic. I’ll just throw some slivers of actually green onion on top as garnish and the customer will never notice, mwahahah!!» However, I wasn’t going to waste any part of my $ that I’ll never get back, so I wolfed those down first and chased it with tea, bleh. Thank you for reading my review and hopefully my comments are helpful to someone. ~FIN~

Interior [A]: Updated, trendy wooden plank and chalkboard wall displaying the craft beer tap list and house sake mixed drinks. Bench and communal table bar style seating. Service [A+]: We were one of only two groups in there, but our server was extremely on-point, talkative, friendly, personable. Fried Chicken Bites [A+]: With the house seasoning, these remind me of Taiwanese fried popcorn chicken with outstanding salt/pepper/chili rub seasoning and dry as a bone crispy exterior with moist interior. They were cooked perfectly, but were in desperate need of a dipping sauce. Their house chili sauce was perfect: not too hot in any way with a good sweet and sour balance and subtle kick. Tempura Mushroom [C-]: Highly disappointing, these came out as enormous whole mushrooms that had been deep fried without any base seasoning or marinade. Though the fried tempura exterior was done perfectly, what was underneath was a very bland, unseasoned massive common mushroom that was served nuclear hot. It immediately scalded my and wife’s mouths — like tissue peeling off after a few minutes. Ouch. After cooling down, a few more devoured and they were just very bland. There was the house chili sauce drizzled on top, but that didn’t really make up for the overly large, unseasoned mushroom. I would improve this dish by using smaller mushrooms, perhaps a different variety with more base flavor like shitake than your common white mushroom. Maybe even a mushroom medley, but have some sort of base sautée or marinade before deep frying. Like others mentioned, dipping sauce on side is superior than drizzling this on the tempura for fear of making the exterior soggy over time, especially if you are taking it to-go. Pork Chow Fun [A]: Simple dish well done with great seasoning and tender pork instead of your typical chewy, tough, rubbery dog bites of dry pork. Enormous portion. Honey Walnut Shrimp [A]: Pricey at $ 14 and looking small on the plate. But with rice, the dish is very filling and the amount of shrimp given is plenty. Steamed and seasoned broccoli on the side was done very well. Would suggest different plating for this dish to make it look more appealing. Crunchy exterior was done perfectly. Overall, very happy with our experience, and will be back.

Fish Taco Chinos($ 10) is honey glazed fish topped with cabbage slaw, house sauce, and chives. The local fresh fish is succulent and seasoned to perfection. This dish has a great mix of textures with the meaty fish, crispy cabbage, creamy house sauce, and tangy onions. Rating: 4.8÷5 Beer Battered Fish & Chips($ 13) is house beer tempura fish served with fresh-cut seasoned chips and Asian tartar sauce. The detail in the presentation itself is just awesome right down to a Chinese to-go box and chile-shaped sauce boat. The fish batter is golden brown with light and crispy texture while the fish remains succulent and juicy inside. The chips are crispy. The sauce is the bomb maintaining the perfect balance of sweet and savory for dunking both fish and chips alike. Rating: 4.4÷5 Sweet & Sour Ribs($ 13) are presented stacked with sweet and sour sauce flowing and topped with sesame seeds, green onion, and pineapple. These are reminiscent of sweet & sour fried chicken wings. The outside is crispy, like crispy chicken skin. The interior had a good pork flavor. But they need to be either parboiled or cooked a little longer before the fry process so the meat can be pulled off the bone easily. Rating: 3.5÷5

The owner works in the kitchen cooking up the most quality and love into each and every one of his dish. You will encounter very beautiful and quick staff to address your needs. The plus side to both of these is the spacious patio that is connected to 3 other businesses that will serve you where ever you decide to seat. You can order a beer from another restaurant next door and bring it into another establishment with no worries! Its like a little friendly neighborhood where every one knows everyone which feels new and great to me. They have good pricing on there beer and sake(which is why im almost here every week to take advantage of). Its best to come by here during there happy hour which begins at 3pm. Their famous dishes are always on happy hr at a portioned price, but its definitely filling! Its a little tough to find parking here since they dont have a personal parking lot dedicated to this restaurant so you have to find one right off the main road of 101. The inside of this restaurant is very well decorated, its sorta like if Urban Outfitters had a chance to design a restaurant with its own personal touch, this is what you would get and it works! The only thing that needs a little bit of work, is there servers attentiveness. Every time I come here even when its super slow their very consistent on not checking up on their tables or at least not with me. But other than that its not a big deal, I enjoy the ambience here and I hope to see this place permanently stay in Oceanside.

Confusing. What is this place? Chinese food? American-ish food with a little Asian zing? I know it says Asian Fusion, but it’s basically a glorified and revamped Panda Express. For example, there is an entrée with the phrase«Chow Fun» in its name. Um, is it just me or is that a lame attempt at trying to keep up with the Chinese food theme. That kind of name belongs in a Panda Express. Place is small. We missed it the first time we were trying to find it. However, I do admit that once you enter it holds a very cozy atmosphere. Place was fairly empty and service was fast. We ordered an appetizer(Gyoza) and two entrees(Braised Beef Sliders and Beer Battered Fish and Chips). While the food was good, I’ve had better. I can’t exactly rave about this place because it didn’t bring anything new or exciting to the table. That, and the fact that I am still confused as to what type of food they’re specializing in. I still can’t get over the fact that it just seems like a fancy Panda Express. Besides the food, it has a pretty expressive and expansive list on beer. Bar area looks cool and laid back. Not sure if I would come back here again as I was not impressed the first time.

The food, feel and concept of the place is about as Asian as Panda Express, but everythings way better. The place: small and hipster. Lots of dark wood, random pipes sticking out of the walls with books on them, a chalkboard listing all the drinks, etc. Food: very small menu. But what’s offered is done well. On that night, the following fare was had: Pork belly Sliders: these suckers were pretty sweet, but still pretty delicious. Love the Hawaiian roll bun and the meat was very very very flavorful(borderline too much?) Fired rice: got it with half chicken and half Chinese sausage(you can do that! Didn’t know until our waitress mentioned we could have both when we asked which one shed recommend) Service: everyone’s very friendly and accommodating. Overall: pretty cool place. Not what I was expecting but everything was good. I’d go back.

absolutely amazing! BLVD Chinese Kitchen has become my favorite Asian-fusion restaurant in all of California. Their entire food menu is just so simple, it spans across one sheet of paper. The prices are amazing too. I have eaten steaks in Las Vegas that are more expensive than the entire BLVD menu if I were to order one of everything. I ordered the BBQ pork chow fun($ 8) while my friend ordered the fish & chips($ 13). We also shared an appetizer, the teriyaki chicken wings($ 8 for six pieces). The chow fun is enough for one serving. It was not too oily and there was plenty of barbecue pork. I thought they could have afforded to add some more vegetables(bean sprouts + scallions) to the dish though. My friend loved his fish & chips a lot. The real winner of our meal was the teriyaki chicken wings. They were jumbo-sized, juicy and full of flavor. I kind of regret ordering the chow fun and not getting an additional order of wings for myself!!! The two person service staff was especially helpful. They refilled our sodas numerous times and made our experience awesome! BLVD needs a better store-front sign to improve visibility to its customers. My friend had a hard time finding the restaurant. There’s no private parking lot as well, only street parking. I simply wish more Asian-fusion restaurants would implement yummy, simple and inexpensive meals like what BLVD does for the city of Oceanside.

Once I saw that BLVD served 40s of Old E, I knew I had to be there. The bf and I stopped in on New Years Day and loved everything about what we ordered. Our server was super knowledgeable and helpful. He made sure we were satisfied with our beer selections and gave us his recommendations on what we may or may not like. We shared the following: * Beef short rib curry potato cakes– so good. Presentation was beautiful. And everything worked so well together. It was was one their specials, and I hope it becomes a menu item because it was so delish. And I could eat them literally every day of my life. * Fish Tacos– three mini grilled fish tacos with finely sliced carrots and cabbage. The sauce was a little on the sweet side, but with the added sriracha– it leveled out perfectly. * Chow Fun with BBQ Pork– Recommended by our server. The BBQ pork was absolutely delish and not in any way overpowering. It is chow mien served with bean sprouts, onion, and green onion. Simple and well executed. * Purple Haze Sake Cocktail– So amazingly good. I am not a sake fan and LOVED this drink. It is served in a ½ carafe with two sake cups. The bf literally asked for a tall straw because he couldn’t drink it fast enough. That good! Cant wait to go back to try the pineapple curry fried rice and the walnut shrimp!
