What a joke. First they get my order completely wrong, then proceed to speak in Spanish to each other about weather I actually asked for what I ordered. Then she assured me after I asked that my sides were in the bag and everything was correct. When I got home I realize, no my order is not correct and when I go back to have it fixed they treat me like I’m trying to take advantage. So obviously they can’t assume any responsibility in this place. Spend your money elsewhere.

Located on right off of Coast Highway the parking lot is rather small. If it’s slightly busy may have to park around the corner in the neighborhood and walk. Angelos has been a staple on coast highway for years. If you’re looking for a good burger or breakfast burrito this is the place to go. You have to try their «worlds famous» breakfast burrito. Inside they put hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, and salsa. You get to pick your choice of meat and I always go with bacon. The burritos are extremely large so if you are that hungry you probably won’t be able to finish eating it. If you’re extremely starving it is more than enough to feed you. The one thing I like about how they do the burrito is in every single bite I feel like you get an equal amount of every inside.

Love their breakfast burrito, huge is the word for it and they are extremely fast for a sit down restaurant.

First time here and it’s amazing. BIG PORTIONS meaning big burgers big gyros and big fries. The food is really good and it’s pretty fresh. They have good service on top of all that. Definitely planing on coming back here.

I love Angelos, but this one is by far the worst. It is extremely close to my house thats why I go often, but the last 5 times I have gone, they always get the order wrong. If I ask for guacamole on the side I EXPECT GUAC ON A SEPARATE CONTAINER, not just ON THE SIDE of my carne asada fries. -.-
I went late last night and that is the only reason I didn’t return to get my money back! My burritos were also cold and the food took forever to be made.
I honestly wish I could get a refund for all the orders these people couldn’t get right on the first try. But I bet that’s too much to ask. Not returning to this location.
Do yourself a favor and drive to a different location, this one is disgusting and full of rude employees

One of our new favorite dives, food is made to order, fresh and delicious. Carne Asada is tasty– meat is well seasoned! Top with a pint of delicious IPA and it doesn’t get much better!

This may be the worst food we have had the misfortune of trying to eat.
Ordered the buffalo chicken strip dinner and the California burrito. The buffalo chicken had no buffalo sauce at all (I think they forgot), the chicken strips were fried and tasteless, the fries were soggy and unsalted. For $ 10 this was clearly not a good deal.
The California burrito had a pile of soggy bland fries on a pile of what tasted like boiled chopped meat with no seasoning, and was topped with sour cream. It was truly difficult to swallow each greasy, dry, and heavy bite of the burrito, and after a few attempts gave up. Most Cali burritos have FLAVOR and guacamole, chopped salsa, cheese etc.
We had gotten the food to go and took it to the beach. We could not eat much and went for a walk. The seagulls got into the bag and ate the food– they appeared to like it but we hope it doesn’t make them sick. We sure don’t feel too well after trying to eat this. To sum it up in one word «YUCK». Go anywhere else, I guarantee it will be better than trying to eat here.
And like other reviews note, the place does not look very clean and had a couple persistent flies buzzing around the grill.

Oh my, this place is pretty gross.
Food wasnt half bad but the actual restaurant is disgusting. Old, dirty and falling apart! These guys must make enough money to at the bare minimum change the booths out!
Seriously I couldn’t even eat my food, I was so grossed out I had to throw it out.
Oh and it was so hot in there! AC was obviously OFF! I saw sweat dripping of the cooks nose… God only knows where it landed.
I’m shocked this place hasn’t been shut down!!!
Save your money… drink water instead!

Diners have a big place in my heart as I consider them part of the American experience — so I was looking forward to trying Angelo’s Burgers this past weekend while waiting for my girlfriend’s train to arrive. Their signage and ads had gotten my attention the last time I was in the area, and I had decided to give them a try.
Angelo’s features an expansive menu of American, Greek, and Mexican specialties — I went with their Country Fried Steak breakfast with three (!) scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sourdough toast. Well… while my food was certainly delicious (especially the gravy served with the steak), I was served eggs over easy. The counter girl was a bit apologetic, but she seemed to be at a loss as to what to do; since I didn’t want the eggs to go to waste, I figured I’d take them.
Also, the venue itself could certainly use a makeover or two — most of the booths needed to be wiped down, one booth had a table missing, and the doors to the expansive patio (which appears to be dog-​friendly) were open, leading to flies buzzing around.
Still, with the reasonable prices and large portion sizes, Angelo’s Burgers is worth stopping by (perhaps my next visit will be as a takeout order).

Great food, the prices are very cheap for what you get, and the options are super vast, the only downside which is Huge is that it’s not a very clean store

Horrible. Food was wrong and thrown together. Ive seen less flies on a fly strip. Booths are ripped up and beat up beyond. Floors dirty. Empty but all tables dirty!
So gross!
BLTA sandwich and fries… Avocado tasted old. And mayo old too. Fries not cooked.
Carne asada plate GROSS!

Once upon a time in Oceanside we ventured into Angelo’s for a quick food fix and what we found was mediocre food but delicious fried goodies!
They have a pretty large menu consisting of burgers, Mexican food, breakfast and a few other things.
Just wanting something quick I ordered an avocado burger it was alright nothing to special other than a burger with avocado and some special sauce definitely nothing to make it stand out.
Their fries though are super good fresh cut and fried up super hot when served definitely one thing they are doing right here.
Their fried zucchini was alright but this one of those things that’s hit or miss in this case they hit it right in the middle as I had some really good zucchini sticks and some soggy ones that I didn’t eat as they just kinda fell apart.
Overall this is an alright place for mediocre food at a decent price I don’t think I’d return here as the only thing that we really enjoyed was their French fries.

The carne asada breakfast lacked flavor and meat. It was filled with potatoes. The meat tasted like it was boiled. This was my first time here. Would not recommend this burrito not worth $ 7.

Went in there 6 am yesterday to grab breakfast to go for 6 people. Ordered the breakfast burritos that are in the pictures everyone has posted, (added avocado to one) the French toast combos, a breakfast sandwich, Oj’s and a couple lattes. Noticed dining room seemed clean enough, cooks were happy & singing along to the music station. Lady that took my order was nice enough & even helped me get my large order to my car. Everything was cooked perfectly & French toast was everyone’s favorite. I have no complaints other than the salsa was crazy hot but it seems to be like that everywhere in So. Cal!
It is not a five star restaurant but 5 Unilocal stars for being just what you are supposed to be — good, fast, home cooked food minutes away from the beach.

They also have Greek salads and gyros, which I haven’t tried, as I’m addicted to their burgers. The prices aren’t cheap ($ 7+ for a salad, basic burger:$ 3.69, combo with drink and fries is like $ 6+) but the food is Excellent and cooked to order. Flawless.
The drinks include free refills and they have really good Mexican carrots/​onions and peppers as well (by the ketchup and condiments). Really: if you have one of their burgers you won’t be going anywhere else. I also saw a steak and eggs plate… a huge platter of food, and the steak looked darned good.

Every table was dirty. litterally every table
Explained to staff that i couldnt find a clean table… she reluctantly walked out with a smelly bleach rag and slung it across a table and walked back. haha

HORRIBLE customer service. Employees are rude. I went to my car after eating and came back in to use the restroom before my long drive home, and the cook yells at me from behind the counter «CUSTOMERS ONLY!!». Uuumm I just spent $ 30 here you ***hole!
I had a smoothie that was flavorless, my boyfriend’s onion rings had a gross batter, burger was greasy. Never again.

«Can I Haz Cheeseburger?!!» This is definitely a North County Local Spot to get some grub after riding some waves! Or you’re just in the area and want to be like a local!
Cheeseburger and Fries! A complete simple package! Love their onions and sauce they put on there! That’s what I think makes their burgers different!
Would recommend trying their breakfast as well! Seriously, don’t go to Denny’s! Just come here for a chill breakfast!
