Clean, affordable, convenient locations, professional staff. My visit to the SEUSA, last week included several overnight stays at the Holiday Inn Express chain. I was EXTREMELY satisfied, each facility featured everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast in the A.M. was well organized and TASTY, sausage and biscuits were delish, coffee and juice, cinnamon rolls were all fresh and kept in a CLEAN area. NICEJOB, Holiday Inn Express…

Hotel seems nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. BUT the wifi is worthless and that is horribly dissapointing. After a very long day on the road I need to catch upon some work but the wifi appears to have no internet connection! Network also keeps dropping from the list of available networks.

Pleasantly surprised with our 3 night stay here. Hotel was conveniently located, front desk was welcoming & helpful, rooms were spacious & clean. We were on 3rd floor & did not experience noise issues mentioned by other reviewers. Warm breakfast included something for everyone & was constantly being restocked. My only minor complaint was low water pressure in shower. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a really nice place to stay for an overnight business trip — the room was very clean, had a ton of room to get work done, and right off the interstate. I would agree with the reviewer who said that noise was an issue, but it wasn’t as serious as to stop me from getting sleep, it was just a distraction. The location right off I-10 is super, but there’s nothing charming or pleasant about this neighborhood — the hotel is about a quarter mile from the sheriff’s department office. It’s perfectly safe, there’s just nothing nice next door. One hop on the interstate will get you to the nice restaurants in D’Iberville. The cute part of Ocean Springs is three miles down the road. A Starbucks close by would have been heaven on toast, but hey, it’s a good hotel. I’ll take it.

Good for a Holiday Inn. Breakfast will fill you up. The rooms are big and relatively cheap. Most importantly the beds are comfortable. Plenty of parking. It’s location earns it an extra star. It’s right off I-10 and only minutes from the beach, casinos, and Kessler Air Force Base.

At first when i got in I was like this place looks really nice for a Holiday Inn. Then when I woke up the next morning and the sunlight hit the room I saw all the dirt… The bed skirt was dirty and the sheer white blinds looks like it was stained from the window being open and rain hit it and dried. Anywho, the room is nice sized so is the bathroom. It is basic and it has everything you need(lotion, shampoos, mouthwash, &SHOWERCAP!) yes, I’m excited because a lot of hotels don’t have em, lol. Parking is free and the staff seems pretty helpful. The other thing that is hella wack is the elevator. There are only 4 floors at this hotel… I would take up to a minute for the elevator to come to the lobby and take me to my 3rd floor room! I know a minute may not seem long… but imagine staring at the elevator doors for 60 secs… just to go up 2 add’l floors! Yep, I took my ass to the stairs which was wayy faster! Overall, this property is OK… they need to work on their cleanliness of the rooms though.

I would really love to be rating this place higher. We stayed here for five nights recently while visiting family in the area: – The hotel has a very convenient location just off I-10, and just a couple of miles from the cute little«downtown» section of Ocean Springs. – We got a great deal from, and had pre-paid through, Expedia. Check-in took about thirty seconds. – Our room was large, clean and comfortable. I loved having a microwave so I could heat the water for my tea in the AM. My husband loved having a small fridge so he could keep his cold drinks cold. – The breakfast was not gourmet, but it was tasty enough and filled us up every morning. – The staff — front desk, breakfast room, housekeeping — were all friendly and helpful. I have to dock a star, though, because I was woken up at least once every night from the sound of people walking in the room above ours. These people weren’t doing anything egregiously horrible; they just had to pee at 3:00AM. So, it was not them; it was the soundproofing(or lack thereof) in the building. And, unfortunately, when I get woken from a sound sleep like that, I have a hard time getting back to sleep. So, I did not sleep particularly well the whole time I was there.(And, really, isn’t that the primary thing you want out of a hotel?) Like I said, otherwise I have no complaints. But, unfortunately, the one complaint I do have is a big one. I would stay here again, but only if I were guaranteed a room on the top floor.

Overall, this hotel was ideal. 1) Reasonable rates 2) Really good breakfast considering it wasn’t made to order(eggs, biscuits, sausage, plus the usual continental breakfast fair like cereal, oatmeal and pastries. 3) It was quiet. 4) The rooms were clean i.e. my socks didn’t turn black when I walked around on the carpet. 5) Free wifi and free printer usage in the business center. The only flaw I saw with the rooms which someone else mentioned was that in the shower, around the edges, the caulking had mildew so they need to take care of that. Overall, it was pretty good. Better than other places I have stayed out there.
