The Long Beach Peninsula Trading Post is a large, well organized, and intriguing place to hunt for antiques. Every time I go there, I am amazed by the variety and scope of their inventory. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, the prices for the items I have purchased there were decent, and there is ample parking available.

Spent 3 hours exploring the 2 story, extremely organized, delightful shop. A bit on the pricey side. Amazing book, art, glassware collections. Plan on spending a chunk of time wandering!

Nice selection, plenty to distract you for an hour while visiting the peninsula. Some of the booths are overpriced, others fairly reasonable. Worth a stop.

Even though I have been a neighbour of the Long Beach Peninsula, I do not get up there very often to play and explore. It took the quest for really good Chinese food and a positive newspaper review for Chen’s Chinese Restaurant(see review) to get us up there. If you read my recent reviews, you will see that the term«serendipity» has been a big factor in my day to day dealings as of late, and once again, it is applicable. Wanted to work up an appetite, so we hit a few places to shop before dinner. Of course, visited Jake the Alligator Man too! For the final week of spring break, our weather was nasty with rains and very high winds. It didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of the tourists that were there at all. In fact, I applaud crappy weather, as it keeps the more problematic tourists away. Only the dedicated folks are tough enough to brave the PNW Coastal weather. While driving, the crowded parking lot at Long Beach Peninsula Trading Post caught our eye. I love good bargains and looking at old memorabilia, so we popped in and so glad that we did. The store looks deceptively small from the outside, but once inside it goes for miles and miles it seems. Two floors of anything and everything that you can imagine. This is easily one of the most beautiful, clean, and well organized consignment type shops that I have ever been in. Friendly & knowledgeable staff and«Sully» the super cool(calm & quiet) parrot will greet you and answer your every question. The store is sectioned in these cool themed areas. A lot of thought and creativity has gone into each one. It is like stepping back in time as you step into each«vignette». Beautiful items ranging from large furniture pieces to very small trinkets. All were fair priced. Shops like this are like museums to me and I think that we owe it to our youth to take them in and educate them into how we lived before the invasion of electronics and high tech laziness inducing items. This store is just fun and one can spend hours in here just browsing. Being a bibliophile, I can spend hours just looking in their many«libraries». Great discovery!!!
