Kind and prompt service, and some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. All and all, an adorable family and wonderful experience!

I absolutely adored everything about this place.
The coffee and tea were delicious, the family-​owned vibe was excellent, the cleanliness and décor were admirable, and the chairs were comfy.
I could have spent my whole vacation reading and hanging out here, that’s how great it was! In fact, it made me want to MOVE to Ocean Park just to experience the zen of Adelaide’s on a more regular basis. We will definitely be returning.

The perfect, relaxing little coffee shop to hang out in. Very inviting and comfortable, and excellent espresso drinks, too. My kids thought their hot chocolates were outstanding.

Lovely, relaxing place to have a cup of coffee while reading a book. It is a great contribution to the peninsula. The people running it are very kind. I recommend for a quiet hour. Like deals can be purchased.

What a great place this is. You can tell the owner (s) put a lot of thought and care into this establishment. You can enjoy a well made latte while looking through their shelves of nicely curated books. There’s even a nice corner of kids toys and books. Great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Even the poetry on the bathroom walls is good!

Great ambiance, nice people, but they use Big Train for their coffee mix: p and not much variety in syrups. Choc. Chip cookie I would give a 3 out of 5

Didn’t order coffee, but a cute little place with a nicely curated book store. I bought one book I wanted, and another the sales person recommend.

This is exactly what a book store and coffee shop should be – great selection of titles, good coffee, lots of comfortable seating and creaky old wood floors. Perfect.

Absolutely the best place to hang out on the peninsula. Excellent coffee, treats, books, and free wi-​fi. Best of all is the staff! We have enjoyed several meaningful discussions in this wonderful haven in OP. They have a perfect track record of recommending countless great books that I’ve thoroughly devoured. And, on a nice day, the Adirondacks on the porch are a fantastic place to sip and knit.

Cappuccino perfection and fabulous cinnamon rolls to boot! Only wish I had discovered this place on the first day of my vacation instead of the last. To sum it up: beautiful, bright, friendly, quiet, comfortable, and delicious.

Friendly service, great coffee! Don’t overlook the breakfast sandwiches! Free WiFi and inviting atmosphere is all one would want in a coffee shop. Glad to see that they are now open on Sundays.

After slight panic at the horrible reception that T-​Mobile gets on the Long Beach Peninsula, I was delighted to find this spot in which I could grab a cup of tea and use the free Wi-​Fi. After spending hours in here, I give the owners 5 stars on the entire atmosphere. Wow! I can’t eve put it into words. If you are looking for a great place to grab coffee or tea, baked goods, a book or two, a cozy atmosphere to be productive in this crazy world of ours and you happen to be near Ocean Park… this is the place!

Adelaide’s is a charming coffee coffee shop, restaurant and bookshop combined in a modern inviting atmosphere. The husband and wife proprietors are delightful and want to make certain you are well cared for. Their baked goods are their own creations. My wife and I have never tasted better scones. Their more like pastry than the bricks you might find elsewhere. They also have some unique coffee and tea selections. My wife had lunch there yesterday and said that the egg sandwich was delicious. This is a must stop if you are on the peninsula.

Welcoming, cozy, and truly friendly owners. And great coffee. I haven’t enjoyed such a perfect Cappuccino since visiting Italy. Who knew you could find such a delightful spot in our little town of Ocean Park.

Great little place. Excellent coffee, pastries and nice selection of books. Atmosphere is warm and friendly, light and inviting. Free internet. We sat by one of the large windows admiring the flowers in the window boxes while we sipped our coffees and nibbled on sweet rolls. A nice interlude which made a great day even better.

This comfortable little spot has recently changed hands, but not to worry! The atmosphere, the enticing aromas, the delicous coffee & tea, and the free internet use remain. The new owners are a sweet young couple who wish to please, and make a pretty good latte! We wish them success.

My sister and I stumbled across this place while walking around Ocean Park, and what a great surprise it was! The exterior is more than inviting to any caffeine-​addicted-​book-​lover! Inside is simple but classy, and the smell of the coffee and fresh baked goodies is comforting and inviting, and gives off a sense of home. The owners and employees are extremely friendly and welcoming.
I wish that it was in Ellensburg so I could be a regular, but that would take away from it’s beach side charm. I can’t believe that I never knew it was there before now!

What a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon… and there are about 300 wet days a year up in that part of Washington State.
The book selection is amazing for a small shop. Really, something for everyone.
She also offers a special deal. If you pick out a hardcover book that is available in paperback, she gives you the paperback price. That alone is worth the 5^th star.

This «little» restoration project really brings out the beauty of the area and the rich history of it. The warmth and coziness of the store starts with the smart restoration of the old Taylor Hotel. Located just up the beach at the hub of Ocean Park I was welcomed by some friendly faces, a great cup of coffee and some wonderful pastries. To top it off, the shop had the New York Times available for me to read while sipping away. I don’t know of any other place on the Long Beach Peninsula where you can get this important piece of life. The selection of books ain’t too shabby either. It is essential for those evenings when you want to curl up to a good book to forget about the world. I know I will be a frequent customer now that I have discovered this gem of a place.
