Very good Chinese food. Recently changed owners and I feel the quality of the food has improved because of it. Definitely a go-to place for inexpensive Chinese.

New owner, new management! If you are new, give them a try! If you had a bad experience with the previous owner, give these new guys a chance!

Food is good. Not consistent, over priced for quantity. Don’t order on line. Speak to someone so you get what you expected. Will not order from there again.

I love them because they are one of the few Chinese restaurants that have a vegetarian meat selection. We come here every vacation!

I come to this place just about every time I visit New Jersey. Like that they offer brown rice. Love General Tso’s veggie.

Food was very good. Prices are decent for a shore town. Higher than expected quality food. Would recommend

Two days ago we ordered a wide variety of food for 8 people. I have to say I did not expect too much from a Chinese place in Ocean City but much to everyone’s surprise every dish was quite good. Nice fresh vegetables, seafood and beef. We had it delivered and it arrived hot when promised and the order was accurate. While I would agree the portions were not huge I would certainly recommend this place when you have had your fill of cheese steaks and pizza!

Went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Was quiet, but was good. Amazed by how much food you can get for 2 for $ 14.(Yes, lunch specials are fantastic, aren’t they?) The sweet and sour chicken was done well, as was the lo mein. Would return for other meals.

Surprisingly tasty food given the location and storefront. A big blue sign that just reads«Chinese Food» doesn’t really draw an optimistic reaction but the food is comparably priced to the awful Chinese joints in Philly and is way, way tastier. The portions are a little bit small by Chinese takeout standards, but a lunch special(available every day 11am — 3pm for around $ 6) is still typically more food than I can eat in one sitting. I love eating inside at this restaurant. It is never crowded, there is always soft, quiet music playing, and it’s great for catching up with a friend or having a personal business meeting. There is tons of space, the restaurant is kept clean, the waitress was kind and efficient, and the food comes out very fresh and hot. While I don’t know how it compares to the other Chinese joints in OC, I would definitely recommend it.

Walked into this place trying to find my «go to» Chinese take out on the Island. I still need too look some more. Not that this place wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great either. Upon walking into the restaurant it appeared to be very clean and the décor was typical oriental. The cashier hardly said hello and was extremely short with me, like he was agitated with my presence in the restaurant. I ordered my food and sat down. It came out in less time than I was told, which was good. The cashier said, «here ya go, sauce is over there.» Maybe the kid was having a bad day, I’m not too sure. I brought my food home and looked at my order. It was Shrimp with mixed vegetables from the Special Combination Dishes section of the menu. This is where the adequate three stars come from. I opened my container and was greeted with half a cup of slightly fried rice with no additives(egg, broc, carrot, etc) then about 5 shrimp and select oriental vegetables. The meal was good(other than the broc, which tasted a bit odd…), but there wasn’t much too it, for 10.75 I expected a bit more. The egg roll was the smallest I’ve ever seen before, definitely not good. Other than a small portion and a humdrum cashier, I would of rated this place a bit higher. I might come back, I might not. We’ll see.

When one thinks of «Szechuan,» one thinks of flavor and heat and this restaurant has none of these. There really isn’t anything particularly good about this food. The«fried rice» is more like light brown rice with maybe a tiny speck of a carrot; it really essentially is just white rice that’s brown. Down the road, at Ocean Gardens(14th& Asbury) they pack their fried rice with all sorts of tasty things(like egg pieces, Chinese sausage, etc). Furthermore, their Gen. T chicken(at Szechuan Gardens) tastes pretty bland and the portion sizes are very small for the typically elevated prices. You’re gonna end up spending just as much at Ocean Gardens but the food is much better there(Ocean Gardens).

We ordered take-out and man was it good! My entire family loved it. We had sweet sour pork, Mongolian beef, shrimp and cashews, chicken and broccoli, and egg rolls. The service was friendly and quick. There are several tables for dining in. Definitely recommend thus joint!

Fresh food with clean taste. This is the kind of Chinese food that won’t weigh you down after the meal. The fried tofu is simple and delicious. The General Tso’s Chicken is excellent and NOT soaked in gloppy sauce and it’s done in many restaurants. The broccoli dish is a treat even for carnivores. The only complaint is that our fried rice was under cooked. We would definitely visit again when we’re in town.

My boyfriend and I stopped here when we were in Ocean City and we were surprised by how delicious our food was.(We weren’t expecting much.) We just picked this place at random because we were looking for something with a decent vegetarian selection. I got the vegetable chow mi fen and scarfed it down. My boyfriend got something with tofu and broccoli(I have no idea what it was called) and the sauce was really good. I’d definitely stop in again if I’m ever in the area.

Pretty good stuff. I always order tofu and broccoli in garlic sauce and I swear that they cook it different each time. They would get five stars but one time they served me, my wife and our friend(who is a vegetarian) chicken fried rice when we all asked for brown rice. Yuck.

Good chinese food with choices for vegetarians. I’ve only been there once, but even at the end of September there was a nice crowd. Had the General Tso’s tofu, dumplings and veggie chicken with garlic sauce, and all were amazing and worth another trip next summer. There aren’t too many vegan-friendly places in OC, so this one is welcome.
