Excellent place to eat with great views. Eat here often and have never been disappointed. Fresh food cooked to order. Nice wine selection. Nice place to dine in OC.

Excellent restaurant, great view, great food and drink. Probably one of the best restaurants in OC. It’s upscale and little pricey, but well worth it. A+.

This was our third time coming to this gem. We had some friends coming into town and wanted to have a good meal so we headed on out to the Sunset grill.
First off Savannah was awesome! We had a lot of fun with her and she was on top of her game that night. Great service, great atmosphere and very attentive wait staff.
We started our night with the Gauc, the oysters rock and BBQ shrimp. The Gauc is one of the best I’ve had, fresh and full of chunky avocado. The oysters were another hit and very good. You can’t go wrong with BBQ shrimps so they were as expected. A great start to a wonderful meal.
Having been here before, I can speak to the freshness of the fish and seafood. Last night however, we ALL got the filet mignon. Steaks were cooked perfectly, the accompanying sauce was a hit. A tad to sweet for my liking but I enjoyed it sparingly. Veggies and sides were all perfect and food was hot. A great meal all around and we will definitely be back.
Rounding out the meal we opted for my favorite, key lime pie! We had the pleasure of enjoying it before and our other party wasn’t a huge fan of key lime since having a bad experience prior with poor quality key lime. They became believers again after trying this key lime pie. It is a must try if you like a good home made pie. We also had the cream brûlée. That again was a beautiful, silky and tasty custard with a nice layer of fired up sugar on top. A great meal yet again. This is a must try in my book and we will return many times.

Great food but too over priced. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but the portion sizes were not worth the cost.

Had an amazing experience. The location and setting is perfect. Truly one of the greatest places in OC to catch a sunset. Dinner and service was great. Ended the evening with a few drinks on the rooftop bar where the views were amazing.

First meal upon arriving to Ocean City for an extended weekend holiday. I have eaten here before and always top notch service and the food is meticulously prepared. Had the Mahi tempura appetizer and shrimp fettucini. I ate at 3, and have been full ever since. It’s now 10pm. Our server was genuinely kind and attentive. Forgot his name, but he was a brother. You know a bruthah. And the berry mojito was fresh and delicious.
Eat here once on your stay to OC. Great views of the Bay.

My husband and I visited Sunset Grille Sunday. We loved this restuarant’s food the food is always fresh. Staff was great, but the flies were terrible. We purposely ate inside on a nice day to avoid the flies and was very disappointed to have to swat flies. I heard another couple complain about the flies and the waiter said yes they are a problem.
I am sure there are some type of devices that can solve this problem so we can return.

I had the Best Greek salad of my life! I wish we could have stayed long enough to see the sunset, but alas, the Penguins were on.

We were a large group and it took a while to receive our food. Food was okay. I had the Rockfish with a tomato cream sauce. The side of rice was better.

Food was okay. The waitstaff was completely incompetent though. They took our drinks when they were halfway finished and wouldn’t even let us GLANCE at the dinner specials since it didn’t start for 10 minutes while my group was willing to wait the 10 minutes to order the specials. The atmosphere is the only thing his place has going for it.

This place is huge. The view is a treat and the area is nice. Huge yachts in the marina set the stage for how bougie some of the Sunset Grille feels.
It’s a little confusing… when you walk in and put your name they don’t tell you everywhere available. This past Saturday my party of five was told there was an hour wait. We went upstairs to the bar area, saw open tables, and asked if they could be sat in? And they could. Why would the hostess up front not have told us everything they had available? I guess we are unaware of how many little areas there are as part of the Grille. One time we ate outside and the band was horrendously loud.
Food and service are okay. Menu items are overpriced and I don’t think stuff is local… so it’s kinda «fake gourmet» ish. But at least the items are pretty innovative. Our waitress wasn’t aware of what was on the menu, and when my party asked about sandwiches the server ran away and brought back another menu? Ok…
The oysters were great and my mahi-​mahi was good. Crab cakes are on the smaller side.
I’ll probably only be back if someone else decides on here as the evening’s pick for dining out.

Beautiful restaurant right on a fishing dock with indoor, outdoor and sunroom seating. It’s attached to Teasers which is cool because they have an outdoor stand for a band to play and it would be a great place to have a pre-​dinner cocktail. They also have a fish preparation station outside past teasers where the fisherman unload and filet their fresh catch of the day. I highly recommend taking a look before dinner!
Food itself was delicious; we had the raw oysters, twin lobster tails both ways (fried and broiled), Mahi Mahi (comes over a salad), and the crab imperial. I would recommend all of them except I would make sure if you’re doing the lobster tails to have two people order them so you can try it both ways (otherwise I think broiled is better for the flavor). Our server said there wasn’t much fried breading on the lobster tails but she was wrong, still enjoyable though especially with the sauce. The Mahi Mahi was by far my favorite, it was the best filet I’ve ever had!
The service was great. Obviously summertime is their busiest season so you will most likely have a wait regardless of reservations.

Great atmosphere right on the water with the big viking fishing boats. It’s not that cheap especially if you’re getting drinks. I like wings and cream of crab soup, i eat them everywhere I go. These pass muster and then some. Both were good enough to come back for.

Amazing staff. They were so efficient and accommodating, beyond that the food was great. Good views, classy environment with a laid back vibe. So glad we chose this restaurant. Great experience start to finish.

Horrible service and overpriced.
Their advertisement lied about a dish they had available one weekend and the manager refused to accommodate. «It’s only available if you sit at the bar» what difference does it make if we’re paying the same price for the same food and it’s all made in the same kitchen?! We’re not good enough to sit at a table and eat a certain food?
We ate there anyway and had to choose a different dish than what we actually wanted. The food was nothing to write home about, but the friendliness of the staff and the availability of the food will make me never eat here again.

No one holds this place accountable is all I can say, fries from a bag, par bake rolls, asked for balsamic vinaigrette got store bought raspberry dressing.
Ordered crab cake dinner, got sandwich.
No one here clearly sweats service or customer needs.
They know you will come because of the places history, pomp n circumstance.
Sub par all around.
The only excellent thing about the evening was my beautiful bride.

Our party of 4 enjoyed our time at Sunset Grille. We started with the crab dip and mahi fingers– they were my favorite! I like how they have fine dining entrée options and basic sandwich options, depending on your mood or what you want to spend that night. Service was friendly and prompt and everyone left happy and full. I’d like to go back when it’s warmer to enjoy the outdoor seating. We still had a pretty view from inside.

The real treat of Sunset Grille is the view. Located on the bay, you get lovely views of the boats and the water. Unfortunately restaurants need to provide more than just pretty sights to win me over.
Food and service are both just okay. I came with a large group as a last hurrah to our weekend in Ocean City and wasn’t that impressed with the service. We made reservations and I will say was happy they had our table ready and waiting upon arrival. However the waitress was just kind of blah, she wasn’t rude or anything but definitely could have been more involved with the table and a bit more lively.
Started with a wild-​berry Mojito, decent flavor with what appeared to be a small amount of rum. Drink didn’t blow me away but was okay for what it was worth.
Went with the 12 oz strip for my entrée, steak was cooked well but wasn’t full of flavor, accompanying asparagus was grilled nice and cooked thoroughly While nothing was bad in the meal, the food for the price just wasn’t blowing me away.
While the views are great, they don’t do enough to make me wish to run back on my next visit to the beach.

Just an all-​around fantastic dining experience. The outdoor area is lively and fun, the drinks were strong, and the food was good on all counts.
I sampled:
Lettuce wraps
Seared ahi tuna with basmati rice
Lobster mac and cheese
All of which were deeeelish. The lobster mac was super rich though so be warned! Sensed a bit of an asian vibe from the menu– some really interesting and tasty flavors goin on here. Definitely recommend.

I waited to go back to this place for 2 years to eat the fish tacos but they don’t several it until June. Not a good response.
The side rice and black beans was super dry and more starch than black bean.
The mahi mahi is great so next time I am ordering that only either as the appetizer or kids meal :)
