Just came home from staying here. Wish I were still there. The staff was very outgoing, and they certainly put in a lot of long hours. The rooms were kept clean, and it was in a great location. They do need to better as few things there though. We stayed on the first floor by the pool. After the pool closed(7PM) there was no outdoor seating offered to us on the first floor. We lifted chairs over the pool railing, but if the other floors can have chairs, outside of each door, there should be some place for the first floor to sit as well. Next thing is number of outlets per room. Very sparse. We were unable to move the sofa to check if there were outlets behind it, so not sure on that one. The smoking areas(2) one at the front of the garage, one at the back are not the greatest location for a handicapped person. I was«yelled» at for smoking on the sidewalk by the street — I wasn’t in a designated smoking place. All in all, We liked it there. Throw in a free breakfast voucher daily(out of the peak season) and it was a very good deal.

After a nice response from the management I’m looking forward to returning and spending more time here in the future. I’m hopeful that the new focus on customer service will provide a better experience for our now growing family. Thank you for reaching out. See you soon.

We stayed at this motel in august and it was in a good location and clean. The kids pool was perfect for our 18 month old. ½ block to the boardwalk which was a perfect walk for the kids. The room and the baby crib were clean. Limited parking but it didn’t cause a problem. I would go back.

Clean is not a word I would associate with this place. When I pulled down the comforter there was something that was squashed between it and one of the pillows, not sure what it was but it was not a pleasant surprise. The rooms had a mildew odor and were very dark. Our room was on the first floor right by the pool, which isn’t a problem, the issue was that there was no type of shade on the window only the heavy curtain so you could not get any natural light in your room without letting the whole world see you and yours. This left the room like a dark dungeon. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this place.

Don’t waste your time or money on this place. You’ll feel like you traveled back to the 70’s with the room. The staff can barely speak English, and didn’t go above and beyond. For the money I paid I could have gotten a house for the week. Stay somewhere else! This no alcohol town needs to realize«parents» need to have some fun too.

It’s not luxurious, but it’s clean and in a nice location. It’s very clean, actually, which is a big plus when comparing it to similarly priced competitors. There’s a nice pool and the rooms have wifi. Really nice little place.

No better place to stay in OC. Great front desk staff. Few steps from the Boardwalk and the beach. Pool. Vending Machines. Restaurant across the street. I used to work here, *sigh* one thing I can tell you, your room will be clean. I was in the Housekeeping Dept in that 2003 summer, *could never forget* my boss made sure those rooms were flawless. Ha! Impala Island Inn and Wonderland Pier were my first jobs in USA when I came the first time. Great memories I keep from this place.
