A place where you can get a salad, main course and dessert for $ 11??? No way! Yep — you can! Great service with CHOICES to boot. This was a great dinner experience that I would highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Awesome food in a great location with great servers and staff! The breakfasts were wonderful, and we tried dinner there one night as well. Very good meals the whole week. Very consistent. We were a party of 6 and I have to say we had our food very quickly for the size of our group. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty!

I am giving this 2 stars because the salad was fresh, that is all that was fresh. The place was old and dated and dirty. I had to maneuver around a mop bucket and filthy floor to use the restroom. The scallops we ordered were NOT scallops, maybe ray or shark, but all stamped the same size, barely broiled, very white and swimming in a half pound of butter. They were tasteless (other than the butter), and did I say terrible? The chicken was worse than an old tv dinner and the mashed potatoes, well, just don’t get them. You will enjoy the Cole slaw if you like it thick and drowning in mayo. My advise, go someplace else. We have been going to OC for over 20 years and never eaten here, another couple talked us into trying it and it was a waste of money. We won’t go back.

Awful!!! Must avoid!!! My mother ordered a bisque that was so salty it was barely edible. Also I had a steak I ordered med rare and it came out well done and slimy. It clearly was not fresh! Also when going to the bathroom you could see inside the kitchen and the cleanliness of it represented the terrible food it was putting out.

While one might have reservations about heading here, it is a nice restaurant for all to enjoy. If you are looking for fine dining, go somewhere else. If you want a good meal that is not overpriced, this is your place.
I got the ribeye and found it to have a good flavor to it. Even better is the monthly specials that included a good chowder, okay veggies, and a dessert.
I reserve special praise for the dessert. I chose the homemade tapioca and it was delicious. Some places claim to be homemade, but this was the real deal.

The only thing more deliscious than my crab cakes was my waitress Casey. Best waitress in NJ no no no… best waitress in the universe!

The place smells like a musty basement. The décor is dated and rundown. Way overpriced for what you get. Friendly staff but even a simple drink order was messed up and we only had 7 people. For how the prices were I would expect a nicer environment. Seems like any substitute is a up charge

My family and I came here for breakfast whilst on vacation at the hotel next door. We were hesitant to come here because of the subpar Unilocal reviews, but I’m happy to report we were pleasantly surprised! My dad got an omelette and it looked quite good, and he confirmed it was delish.
I was thrilled with the coffee sitch here… instead of asking for ninety refills like I usually do, the waiter leaves a carafe of coffee at the table and you can caffeinate to your heart’s content.
The service was great, and our eastern European waiter was super cute.
The only issue I had was an inexplicable geeen chile pepper in my chocolate chip pancakes. Very surprising, and not in a good way. But besides this random ass pepper, the pancakes were delicious. But the good outweighs the bad here, and I will definitely return!

Had a great meal over the 4^th of July weekend ! We come to OC a lot this restaurant is quickly becoming one of our favorites ! Had breakfast and dinner on 4^th and lunch day after, delicious

7 of us just a good dinner. I had the steak and the others 6 had seafood. Everything was cooked as ordered and very tasty. The 6 year old really enjoyed the popcorn shrimp.
I would visit again.

We went here for breakfast and it was decent. I got the eggs benedict and it was cooked perfectly (so yay because I’ve ordered this at other places and it gets overcooked very often). The rest of the family got pancakes but they were not thrilled. The food came out amazingly fast so we were impressed by that, but when it came time to leave we had trouble paying. The owner was having issues with the cube on his phone to take the credit card. It took us a while to get out of there, we probably talked to the technology distressed owner for more time than we had to wait for the food. Overall it was decent, but nothing special.

There are not a great many places to eat around the area to begin with, but you really don’t get much value for your money here. We usually eat here at least once whenever we visit due to lack of convenient alternatives. The service is hit or miss, since I think they hire a lot of seasonal help without much experience.
The food is pretty much all frozen items, at least from our experience. I ordered a Turkey Club on Wheat, and it came on bread — not toasted. We also ate breakfast there, and the link sausages were about an inch long and the bacon looked and tasted like it was made in 1974. Pancakes and scrambled eggs were OK. We were then given our check, which was incorrect and belonged to a different table.

Like the baked pasta dishes don’t try anything complicated it is a good. Baseline I’m a not highly culinary town people are here for the beaches

I would probably avoid this place if there are other options available. I went here for breakfast after receiving a 15% off coupon from a hotel I’d stayed in. The service was alright, but the food left a lot to be desired. My chipped beef tasted like salted flour and my girlfriends scrapple was sliced far too thin and cooked a bit too long. It was all crust.

Horrible! First off, the place smelled like old fish when we entered.
Our salads and bread came before our drinks, and we completely ate it all and were still waiting for drinks! Had to ask 3 times and repeat our drink order. Then they brought out milk for our son, but not my water or my husbands soda. Again, I repeated our drink order.
When a six year won’t eat his hot dog because it doesn’t taste good, you know something is wrong. It was dried out and overdone. His side of applesauce also didnt taste good, and when I tried it, it tasted sour! I swear it was bad.
Please don’t eat at this place!

Head my warning and please skip! Even the free kids meals are not worth it. You’re Better off going to the frozen section of your grocery store. Food was stale as was atmosphere. Mashed potatoes disgusting. Clam chowder horrid. Crab cake was OK at best.

We were sucked in by the kids eat free sign. Which meant from the kids menu, which had nothing heathly and 2 or 3 options. My daughter and I both had the special, eggplant parm. HUGE portions, we could have split and not finished. The sauce was good, but nothing else. It was cafeteria food. The lobster crab bisque was dull bland missing both lobster and crab. The waiter did not know what greens or spring mix was, when I asked about the salad. He said it was greens, it was iceberg. Service was good though. Would not recommend or revisit.

Should have known it would be bad when they said they could seat our party of 11 immediately! The salad was basic. That was about all the pluses. Our waitress was so green that the kids even noticed her inexperience. There were so many mistakes. She came back 3 times to double check the order One hamburger still came out without the cheese. The pasta was cold. I was given someone else’s potatoes. Then they were taken away from me and passed down to my son. Later she realized she had an extra order of fries and dropped the in front on the adults. The flounder was supposed to be fresh, it did not taste fresh at all.
We gave the waitress a credit card and some cash for the check. Here is the problem, she didn’t return the card after 10 minutes so my husband asked her if there was a problem with the card. She got defensive and said she was busy. When it was returned, she did not charge half the bill on the card. We decided not to complain and to figure out the difference and exchanged the cash amongst ourselves.
Now it gets better no joke there is more!
I walk out side and glanced at the specials on the board. I learned that I just ate flonder! Wish I read the specials first. Maybe I would have skipped this place!

We ate at the Bloomin Tulip a while ago and realized we never wrore a review. We would not recommend this place. Food was just ok and the service was awful. I bet this place is decent for breakfast. Location is good and not far from the boardwalk. We will not be back.

Good food good service fairly priced ate dinner and breakfast there no complaints at all
