Owner use to run a business in Danville, pa. We had a verbal contract for him to cater our wedding. He jumped ship at the last minute and wouldn’t respond. It left us without a bartender, alcohol, or cook. Thankfully his former cook for the Danville business stepped up to the plate and did the food at least. We struggled to get the bartender and alcohol set up as the replacement guy didn’t have the license to do it.

1st time here. Food was great and service was great! We went to this place because we wanted something different and Cajun food sounded good. The Unilocal reviews were good, so we gave it a try. You have to enter through the bar area where a loud classic rock band was playing. I could see how this scene could intimidate some. Great food if you can get through the bar area.

Décor — 2 stars. Above average for OC. A little kitschy and inconsistent. Service — 1 star. Staff were friendly and polite but lacked training in service etiquette and the front of the house was generally not well run. We spent nearly two hours there over two three course meals, waters, and a kids chocolate milk. While I’ll allow that the delay was probably due in some part to a busier night than expected, infrequent visits to the table were aggravating; 15 minutes to pick up a credit card after leaving a check at a cleared table, for example. If we’d been there on date night m over drinks that’d be ok, but we had two small kids with us. Food — 4 stars. Wow. Everything was excellent… perfectly cooked, wonderful flavor and texture. Chargrilled oysters and étouffée were a particular surprise. I’d have given 5 stars if the presentation was better, but it seems to be another victim of the sub-par eye for aesthetics. If you’re looking for legit New Orleans(except butter shrimp… oddly missing from the menu) in OC and don’t mind waiting, this place is for you.

Cool place to stop in when your on the beach. Our group of friends decided to check this place out when we were in Ocean City. great happy hour specials and friendly staff. Owner/chef onsite so there is quality coming out of the kitchen plate by plate. We tried the grilled oysters and they were Good. Trust my opinion cause we were at the real bourbon street a couple of months before. If you make it to ocean City stop in have a drink and a meal u should enjoy the culinary delights and the atmosphere is Cool too!

Stopped by for happy hour in late Sept. Live music Wednesday thru Saturday for now when the season winds down may be fewer days. Good happy hour options. Orange crushes are made from fresh oranges-looked really good! I started with stuffed mushrooms and they were good, not great but good. Less filler would have made them better. I had the blackened tuna salad with Cajun ranch as my entrée and it was delish! Perfect size, ask for less iceberg… Husband ordered oysters and thought they were some of the best he has ever had. As an entrée he ordered the pulled pork which he loved. Huge chunks of meat made it a little more difficult to eat on s sandwich but the taste was great. Will definitely come back!

Now this place is unique for OCMD. Bringing a touch of New Orleans style cooking to the Northeast. Great Gumbo and Maryland Crab Chowder for starters. I had The Creole Sampler which include a nice portion of clams, scallops, shrimp and a half fillet of chicken breast with just the right amount of sautéed onions and peppers with a tomato based Cajun spiced sauce. The wife had their Seafood Sampler broiled Haddock, Shrimp, Scallops and a Crab Cake. Bourbon St. Also offers a variety of steaks for the land lover and also both types of Surf & Turf. The Dinning room is small but there is plenty of seating but in season I would recommend reservations. The staff was pleasant and Abbey our waitress did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable about the menu. If you ordering a drink I suggest you try the Orange Crush. This great little restaurant is tucked in behind the Fountainhead Condominiums. We will be making this a place to visit on future trips to OCMD!

Wow this place has good food! Went there on Thursday Aug 27th with my wife, my sister and her best friend. The drinks were out of the this world. My wife ordered a watermelon mix drink that was really good. For the entrees, we ordered the chicken Chesapeake, the Jambalaya, and another entrée that had chicken stuffed with crab covered in a tomato/basil sauce. All were very good. I also started with a cup of the red beans and rice which totally rocked !! Yummy bread too !! Desserts were killer! The only issue was that this place is off the main road and could easily be missed. Some of the best food we had on our vacation !

Stopped here for 4 – 7 buck a shuck oysters and orange crush. Spot is great, good atmosphere and prices are solid, esp for the quality of food. It is a bit set back from the main road but well worth trying to find!

This place is a secret gem in ocean city. The food is so good and they are very generous with the portion size. Plenty for the next day. I would have preferred to sit outside but it was busy. Definitely try this place out sometime since it is kid friendly and the food is yummy.

My kids and I had an enjoyable, tasty dinner here. The buffalo chicken dip appetizer was mouth-watering good, and my filet was succulent and tender. My children enjoyed their chicken entrees, and our server was wonderful. If you want a change of pace in Ocean City in a cozy, well-decorated location, go to Bourbon Street on the Beach!

Fantastic HH. Went back for dinner and was just as pleased. Ate at the bar and Annemalia was the best– she was perfect! The jumbalaya(sp?) was great! Special treat when the live music started. All around great night watching the Orioles win– good food-good drink and great service

Tucked away on Coastal Highway is a little taste of New Orleans’ cuisines. This was my first visit here and I ordered the Creole Sampler,(Large shrimp, oysters, scallops and chicken with carmalized peppers and onions in a rich, spicy and flavorful, tomato based sauce over a bed of rice.) ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS! My side salad was fresh with crisp romaine lettuce, fresh tomotoes and cucumbers, and the creole ranch house dressing is now my new favorite! It’s bursting with flavor but not too spicy. For dessert I had a piece of warm bread pudding over cinnamon ice cream, that is made in-house by the way. The bread pudding was prepared perfectly. Dripping with a sweet, cinnamon sauce, it was warm, moist and bursting with sweet cinnamon flavor! I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars because the rolls we were served, although warm, looked and tasted like they came from a grocery store aisle. Fresh, homemade, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth rolls would have definitely earned Bourbon Street on The Beach 5 stars in my opinion. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I will be back!

A must try! We went early, about 4 on a Thursday, so it wasn’t busy. Orange crushes were average, but only $ 5 on happy hour(4 – 7) so a fair deal. Cajun sampler appetizer was a bit small, but tasty and fiery, as expected. Buffalo chicken wing dip was fantastic! Entrees were all delicious. Three amazingly tender filet mignon, all cooked to different temps and each cooked perfectly but not given to the correct guests, an easy but annoying switch. Go with the pasta as a side — butter and garlic, and better than the potato options in our opinion. We plan to return next time we’re in the area.

DELICIOUS! The table started out with the mild wings — flavorful, saucy and hold its crunch unlike most«sauced up» wings. For the entrée, I had the highly recommended crab cake over filet(I forgot the exact name but the wonderful waiters will help you figure that part out. SODELICIOUS, a must try! The table also had a few burritos… that thing was the size of a newborn baby! The creole was a little too spicy but still delicious. The servers were excellent and the food doesn’t disappoint either. You MUST try their home made ice cream. We had the chocolate mint and it was to die for. ** The place is a little hard to find. It’s across the street from the Green Turtle. Go pass the parking lot and there’ll be a little hut-looking restaurant on your left. Enter and be amazed.**

heard the food was great but the service was terrible. Absolutely ridiculous, tried ordering take out and first the person answering the phone was unable to communicate due to the background noise and had little knowledge of the menu. Then after she hung up on me. checked my signal and it was fine. I called back and got nothing as they hung up again. Update — n/m they called me back and the second guy was very helpful over the phone. Awaiting the food:)

Definitely easily missed but you have to give this place a shot! We started off with the crab stuffed mushrooms and each mushroom was overstuffed with crab. The red beans and rice were just like I was back in New Orleans. The staff were pleasant and helpful with I was deciding what to order. I was the biggest fan of the jambalaya but everyone makes it different. They’re orange crushes are fresh and made right in front of you. I will definitely revisit this place when back in the area!
