Mmmpa Lumpia

Lumpia anyone? You’ll find all types of it here from savory to sweet. Most of the time you’ll find them parked across from Jervey Gantt Park but they also can be found about town.
The savory lumpia comes with a choice of 3 different sauces. Their «secret» sauce is sour cream based w/​cilantro in it. The bourbon bbq is self explanatory and the sweet Asian is a teriyaki & soy. You can choose from a «meal» which includes 3 lumpia, fried rice & slaw. Or, you can purchase the savory lumpias individually at $ 2 a piece. I ordered the «slugworth» lumpias. More to the point it was chopped Mahi w/​slaw & cheese. The only thing I could detect though was the taste of the Mahi & a few pieces of shredded cabbage. It lacked seasoning. Thankfully the «secret» sauce took care of some of the blandness.
I’m looking forward to trying some of the other odd named lumpias in the future.
