The best of the best! Their quesitos are to die for! Excellent service by owners. I go there every week and love it.

I have been planning on eating here for quite some time but every time I come here they’re closed. You can imagine my excitement when I finally made it at a time they were open. No one in town makes a medianoche because they don’t carry the bread so I knew that was exactly what I wanted. My craving was more than satisfied when I ate all I could.(left overs for later). The price was on point and the gentleman up front as welcoming and helpful. There was also a young lady in the back that seemed to be cooking everything and the two of them worked well together. Even late in the day they were doing a good business and I already know they have wholesale pastry accounts in town to prepare to cook for. Their steam table of lunch meals looks yummy and you need to get here before 4:00 for it. Now that I finally have their hours straight I know I’ll be a regular. I see a lot of beans and rice in my future.

My mother and I tried their lunch specials. I had the ropa vieja with sweet plantains and ordered a side of tostones. My mom had the chicken fa-something with yucca. I can’t remember what the chicken was called. My meat portion was plenty and I had some left over, but my mom finished all of her chicken. Both of us had rice and beans to spare. We enjoyed our food. For dessert, we shared a mango shake, tres leches cake, and coconut flan. The shake and flan were super yummy. The tres leches was a little too sweet. It’s a nice casual place and they had plenty of regulars returning during our visit. I think my mom will return soon. I would too if I lived around the corner.

This is about as close as you can get to authentic Cuban food in Ocala FL. We ordered up 3 Cuban sandwiches and the were perfect! There is much more to see and eat at this little bakery/restaurant and look forward to the next time we are in town sampling more of what they had.

This place is legit. Same quality as top cuban restaurants in Tampa and Atlanta such as the Floridian and Havanas. The papas rellenas were some of the best I ever had. Definitely stopping here again on my next trip to Florida. This is a great find, not much appearance wise, but looks are deceiving.

Found Mary Cuban on a Unilocal search reviews were interesting so we decided to try it. Glad we did, great find — delicious food and good service. My husband had the Cuban and I had the tuna version. Tasty sandwiches on good Cuban bread. Fabulous tostones too — light, crispy with just the right amount of garlic. Will be back next time we are in the area.

You will find me at Mary’s every morning. No frozen baked goods here, just great fresh from the oven pastries and great coffee. Her Huevos Rancheros with the fresh Cuban bread are one of my favorite breakfasts as well as the Guava & Cream Chees pastries and the cream cheese casos.
