Yoshi’s is a rip off. The food is way over priced. The only way to get a good seat reserved for a concert is to have dinner there. You can’t get out of the restaurant without paying at least $ 20 per person and that is if you don’t get an appetizer or wine. The portions are small .You have to arrive at least an hour and a half before the concert starts. Then you have to buy a drink during the concert. The seats in the stage area are extremely uncomfortable. You have to pay for parking in the parking lot. Sometimes you can stay for the second set but if the second set is sold out, you get to leave. Basically, I am tired of the rip off. Concert ticket $ 40 plus charge for ticket over the phone Dinner $ 20 plus tip Parking $ 8 or more Drink $ 4 for water and tip Just $ 72 per person and I didn’t even enjoy myself. . I am just tired of high cost of hearing jazz.

Without being to lengthy, I want people to know that I wasn’t going to Unilocal my horrific experience with Yoshi’s awful customer service until I received a response letter from the GM, stating In part my experience was all my fault and his staff confirms this an allegedly 3 of the guests do as well.(no attatchments sent). Not anywhere in his email did address the real concerns which was the services rendered. It was completely condescending and untrue. Because I wrote this email from my work address he felt the need to tell me to «give his warm regards to the corporation I work for» as if to drop a hint that he’s has done business with regional employees. Now, I could care less if he was best friends with Obama it does not excuse the service nor the fact that he did not mention or address any of the issues. I closed my email with a simple«use this as a training opportunity». Now as I yepled Yoshi’s I found a Unilocal review for the EXACTSAMENIGHT(3-22-2015 KRS1show) from a customer that I don’t know, basically having a very similar story regarding service. As my mother has always said«Everybody isn’t telling the same lie». My advise to you, eat and drink first so your contact with staff is minimal and enjoy your show! In additon I cant give a food review as like the other Unilocaler I was unable to be served the, the entire reason I came 1 hour before the show!

This was Yoshi’s 40th anniversary Celebration of being in Business. They had a free Jazz concert in Jack London Square. from 12pm-5pm. Plus they also had a Beer Garden Open in Front of Miss Pearls. They had a Nice lineup of Percussion and other Musicians. The Audience was nice and orderly. I hope Yoshi’s last another 40 Years.
